*The semi-finalists arrive to an unfamiliar studio in New York with all of its logos and signs covered up* *They look around anxiously for a moment, glancing often at the door in front of them* *Liya finally emerges from that door and everyone cheers*

Liya: Hello everyone! *waves at the girls as they cheer* Hello, and welcome to the tenth cycle of Who Wants to Be a Supermodel! It has been quite a while since the last season, but during this large gap I have been going around gathering the greatest clients and ideas to make this the biggest and best cycle yet! *the girls cheer again*

Now, to kick things off, I bet you all are wondering where we are, right? *they all nod* Well... *pulls down the sheet covering the big VOGUE logo behind her* ...we are here at the New York office of VOGUE Japan! *the girls all gasp* Vogue Japan has recently opened an office here, and it is in the studio behind this door that they shoot most of their covers now...

...and that is where you all will be doing your casting shoot. That's right, for casting you all will be shooting covers for Vogue Japan! The overall winner of the competition will have a cover and spread of this magazine, so we are shooting that cover right now so that it will be ready to launch right when the competition ends. Vogue Japan covers tend to be shot in front of plain white backgrounds from the knees or waist up with medium-level styling but nothing too dramatic, so those are the guidelines for your shoot; here are a few examples (I can edit into a white background if necessary).

After your cover shoots, I'd like each of you to introduce yourselves to me and provide me with your heights and measurements. Good luck, and remember that for one of you, this will be a real cover and you only get one shot so really try to bring it!






Rules:
- 2 PP's before disqualification
- Casting shots may be reused without penalty
- There is no real photo limit, but please keep it reasonable
- Nudity is allowed
- You may sign up as up to 4 models (NTM girls welcome!)
- Unavailable girls will be posted below
- Have fun!

- $250,000 contract with Shiseido cosmetics
- $50,000 ad campaign with Kenzo
- Opening and closing Kenzo's S/S 2014 show in Paris
- Cover and spread in Vogue Japan

Coming into the competition, I know I'm going to probably be the curviest girl here, the sexiest girl here, the shortest girl here and while many would see them as flaws, I think that they make me who I am and I really want to show that even though my market is probably more bombshell Sports Illustrated, I can still break into the world of fashion and be a ground breaking supermodel. I really would like to be given that chance.
