CHALLENGE RESULTS
Elle: Hello ladies and welcome back. You all had a busy day of casting for New York Fashion Week and overall, the results for some were very impressive, but for others, disastrous. Let's here what the designers had to say about each of you.
Anais: Most of the designers thought that you had a solid walk that would work well for their shows. Anna Sui, Balenciaga, Blumarine, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Elie Saab, Lanvin, and Max Mara have all decided to put you in their show as they thought you were great. That means that you booked 8 out of the 10 jobs this week. Betsey Johnson decided not to book you because she felt that you didn't have enough energy on the runway. Gucci also didn't book you, but their reasoning was that you were too sweet looking and didn't fit their strong, sexy aesthetic. With two points for every job booked, you receive 16 points out of a possible 20 for this challenge. Great job.
Annabella: You weren't as big of a hit on the runway as Anais was. Many of the designers felt like you were inexperienced and needed more runway training before they cast you for their shows. You did however book Balenciaga, Betsey Johnson, Christian Dior, and Lanvin which give you a total of 4 bookings. That gives you 8 of a possible 20 points for this challenge.
Cara: The designers all thought that you were fantastic. You booked every single job except for Balenciaga as they thought you were a little stiff on the runway. All of the other designers thought you were great and really wanted you. Many of them said you were easily the best of the group and you worked like a pro. You booked 9 of the 10 jobs giving you a total of 18 points for this challenge.
Imogen: The designers had mixed feelings about you. Some of them thought you were great, others thought you were okay, and others thought that you needed more training. Some of the designers that thought you were great were Betsey Johnson and Dolce and Gabbana. You booked both of those jobs. You also booked Max Mara and Lanvin. You booked Anna Sui as well, but just by the skin of your teeth. She thought that your walk was okay, but your look really suited her. With a total of 5 bookings of 10, you received 10 points in this challenge.
Jaslene: You're another girl who designers had mixed feeling about. I'll start off by saying that I was a little shocked at your results as I feel like you have a great walk, but many designers felt that your height, or lack there of, was a huge issue. Blumarine, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, and Max Mara did not mind the lack of height and decided to book you. Since you booked 4 of the 10 jobs, you will receive 8 points in this challenge.
Lisa: You did well in this challenge, Lisa. Not fantastic, but you had a solid showing at the castings. Anna Sui and Betsey Johnson thought that you were great and really liked that you showed your personality, but still looked like a model so you booked both of them. You also booked Balenciaga, Gucci, Max Mara, and Lanvin for being able to bring strength to your walk. That is a total of 6 jobs booked which calculates out to 12 points for this challenge.
Maria: You had a rough time at the castings. Many of the designers just did not think that you were impressive. Many of them thought you really needed a lot of work on your walk. Like A LOT of work. You did however manage to book one of the biggest names in the business, Dolce and Gabbana, as well as Lanvin and Max Mara. With only three bookings, you receive 6 points for this challenge.
By the scores right now, Cara would be the winner, BUT the designers have decided to choose some of you to open, and even CLOSE their shows which will give bonus points which would change the outcome of the challenge I will go through by each designer. Anna Sui has not chosen anyone to close her show, but thought that Cara was strong enough to open it. Congratulations, Cara. Balenciaga thought that this girl was fantastic and didn't need training like the other designers said and chose Annabella to close her show. Congratulations. Betsey Johnson was super impressed with one girl and that was Lisa. Lisa, she was so impressed with you that she decided to have you open AND close her show. This is a huge honor as only top girls like last season's winner Karlie Kloss receive this opportunity. Blumarine thought that Jaslene was strong enough to open the show and Cara was even stronger to close the show. Congratulations to you both. Christian Dior thought that Anais would be a great start to his show and Cara would be an even better finish to it. Congratulations to you both. Dolce and Gabbana did not feel like anyone was strong enough to close their show, but they thought Imogen would be a fantastic opener. Congratulations, Imogen. Elie Saab felt the same way that Dolce and Gabbana did about having someone close, but they did choose an opener and that was Anais. Congratulations, Anais. Gucci, while they thought that the girls that they booked were great, decided not to choose any of them to open or close as they feel more confident in the professionals that they have already chosen. Lanvin thought that Cara would be an amazing start to the show, but did not believe that anyone was strong enough to close out the show. Congratulations, Cara. Lastly, while Max Mara chose nearly everyone, he didn't believe that anyone was strong enough to close the show. He did however choose Anais to open it. Congratulations.
Now let's see how that affects the challenge scores this week. Anais, with three designers choosing you to open their shows, you will receive three bonus points bringing your total to 19 and putting you in the lead. Annabella, with Balenciaga choosing to have you close the show, you receive 1 bonus point bringing your total to 9. Cara, with two designers asking you to open their show and two designers asking you to close their show, you receive 4 bonus points bringing your total up to 22 points meaning that you have taken the top spot so far. Imogen, you were asked to open for Dolce and Gabbana, so your new total is now 11 points. Jaslene, you were asked to open for Blumarine which brings your total up to 9 points. Lisa, you were asked to open and close for Betsey Johnson which is worth 2 bonus points bringing you up to 14.
Cara this means that you have won the challenge this week. Your prize is immunity at this weeks pyramid ceremony.
