PYRAMID CEREMONY
Elle: Hello ladies and welcome back for another pyramid ceremony. This week with my schedule being so jam packed, I let you free with a photographer and you got to decide exactly what you wanted to do with the shoot. The only catch was that you had one frame. This week, the pyramid structure is a little different. First, we are dropping to only 3 levels instead of 4. The structure this week is a 1-3-4 pyramid. The first girl on the bottom of the pyramid is...
Josephine. When I first looked at this shot, I was like "WOW! There's so much emotion here!" But then as I kept looking at it, the shot became boring to me. It almost looks like you're asleep instead of sad. Had there been real genuine tears coming down your face, that would have sold the shot. Something about your mouth and jaw looks so relaxed that it gives the illusion that you're sleeping. It's a good shot, but you could have taken it further. Thanks, Josephine. The next girl on the bottom of the pyramid is...
Lisa. You were really creeping up the pyramid for the past few weeks but these past two weeks just haven't been as great. I do think the shot is very dramatic and I'm happy that you really went for it, but I do see some flaws. First off, you have one half of an arm in the shot instead of two full ones as one was cut off from the frame and the other is nonexistent. I like the stance, but it does make you look slightly shorter. The face has intensity, but I wish you were glaring more laterally than upwards. Overall, it's dramatic, but it has it's flaws. Thanks, Lisa. The next girl on the bottom of the pyramid is...
Imogen. You've really begun to become more and more inconsistent, Imogen. This shot is good, but last week, you were great and I was hoping that Imogen would stay. I do love your bone structure here and your eyes are beautiful, but I wish there was something behind them. It's just kind of a boring photo that is aesthetically good, but it seems like you're relying on your beauty. Thanks, Imogen. The final girl on the bottom of the pyramid is...
Anais. This is a new place for you. You're no longer a bottom row virgin. I do think this is a great shot, but the other girls above you just impressed me more. I love how long your legs look and the outfit is weird, but you work it. The issues I do have with it are the random arm sticking out and how high you tilted your chin up. You have a strong jawline, so you need to be careful with that. Also, I do feel like the shot as a whole is pretty stiff. Thanks, Anais. The first girl on row two who is safe from elimination is...
Cara. This is probably the closest you've been to the bottom row, Cara, but this shot is still spectacular. I just love how raw, but refined this shot it. The messy wet hair combined with the impeccable makeup make for a very interesting beauty shot. Your eyes are piercing, but I do feel like they are a little too squinted. I do like the slightly parted mouth, but I don't think your nose photographed well here as it looks crooked almost. Overall, great job, Cara. The next girl on row two is...
Annabella. Now don't drop back down into the bottom row last week. You've proven once again that you're not the most consistent girl here, but you can take a stellar photograph when you need to. Your eyes are like piercing sapphires and your bone structure looks amazing. Normally I'd be tearing you apart for those hands, but they really add to the demented, alienesque feeling og the shot. It's great, Annabella. Thank you.
Jaslene, Maria. You two are the top two girls this week. But only one of you can receive the privilege of nominating two girls from the bottom row for elimination. The girl who just missed out on that privilege is...
Maria. I'm super impressed with this shot, Maria. It's easily one of your best. It's probably the best I've seen your face look throughout this competition. I love your cheekbone here and how intense that eye is. The shadows add to the creepy effect of the shot, but you make the shot intense through your face which is amazing. I'm just very impressed, Maria. So that leaves...
Jaslene on top of the pyramid! You've consistently improved week after week and you really impressed me this week enough to get to the top of the pyramid. I absolutely adore the body in this shot. The broken down pose is fantastic and I'm super impressed. Your face looks stunning as well. Your bone structure looks amazing and harsh, but your eyes have a softness that I really like. And for being so amazing, you have the opportunity to choose two girls to nominate for elimination. Your choices are Josephine, Lisa, Imogen, and Anais. I'll give you some time to decide.
