 Elle: Welcome back for another season of Take It To The Top, inspired by Abbey Lee's famous "pyramid" from her hit television show, Dance Moms. Last cycle, Karlie Kloss was able to fight off 12 other girls to make it to the top of the pyramid and win the competition and all of the prizes. This year we're looking for girls who can truly work in the industry. We expect nothing less than perfection. To win this competition, not only do you need amazing modeling skills, but also the brains to make big strategic moves as well as alliances to back you up. So here's how the competition works. Each week, a photoshoot will occur where you will all shoot with a specific theme. Based off those photos, I will rank you on a pyramid scale. If you land on the bottom row of the pyramid that week, you are put up for elimination. The girl who lands on the top of the pyramid will choose two girls to nominate for elimination. If you're not nominated, you're safe. If you are, then I will choose one of you to leave the competition. It's as simple as that. If you can stay out of the bottom row altogether, you're in great shape, but if you fall down there just once, your time could be up. So let's get started. I need 13 girls in the house and things to base my decision off of. For casting, I will need a simple, full-body casting photo (like the ones from ANTM) that shows your potential. I will also need your age, height, and measurements. No beauty shot this time around. You've got one shot to impress me. Good luck. Rules: -4 girls maximum -NTM girls are allowed (and encouraged) -48 hour deadline unless otherwise stated -2 public posts before you are disqualified -Role playing is encouraged greatly (it makes the game more fun for everyone) -Have fun! CASTING CRITIQUES
Anais: I really love her look. It's youthful and I can see her being very versatile. Her shot was one of my favorites as well. She has a great body, though she is a little on the curvier side, but look at Tahnee from last cycle, she made it far and was much curvier.
Cara: I like this one a lot. Her face is just stunning. Those eyes are just giving me a sly look and I love it. It's like she knows she's amazing. Her shot was very simple, but it totally got the job done. I can see her working with so many different designers.
Josephine: I love that she'd only 19 because that means that she has a great shot at having longevity in the industry, but I'm not 100% sold. She's kind of pear shaped with a tiny bust and waist compared to her hips. Also, she didn't work her outfit that well in her shot.
Zippora: She tried out last cycle as well, and I honestly liked her better then. She's the shortest girl here and she looked it in her photo. Her legs looked so short. I don't think she has great proportions to be honest. If you are shot, you can kind of get away with it if you have a great pair of legs, but she doesn't have that.
Imogen: I'm very intrigued by her. I think she has such a cool look. It's not ridiculously unique, but there is something about her face that makes it stand out. She's not the tallest girl which kind of hurts her, but she's young and I'm hoping she'll grow a bit.
Mina: When I saw her measurements and height I almost jumped for joy because she has just what you need to be an amazing model, but then she delivered an atrocity of a shot. I'm just not sure she is photogenic at all.
Zuzanna: Her name is so interesting, but unfortunately, I don't think she is. She has amazing legs, but that's all I really see. I see a model in her, but not a top model to be honest.
Lily: Her shot was one of my favorites. She did something unique, but it totally showcased her body to its best potential. She has the height, the measurements, and the look to be successful, but I'm just nervous at the fact that she's 25.
Lindsey: She's one to watch. She has that unconventional beauty that is so in right now and she has the supermodel body to match. Her height is amazing, her measurements are great, and on top of it, she's only 18 which makes her that much more desirable.
Daria: I really liked her casting shot and she looks gorgeous, but the fact that she's 29 worries me. That's very late to start in the industry and to be honest, it shows a little in her face. I'm looking for someone who is going to last years in the business and I feel like her time is limited because she's on the older side.
Julia: She's another one who is on the old side. It doesn't show that much in this shot, but I just don't really like her shot in general. Her face doesn't look that great at this angle and at 28, I feel like she should be able to master her angles by now.
Alana: She has such a unique look. She's so tall and long and her body is just great. That body paired with her alienesque face makes her sooo editorial. She could be in any magazine and work anything couture simply because of that body. She's great.
Britt: Her shot is kind of boring. She has a cool look, but it isn't exemplified here. I do think she has a great body, but I'm not quite sure about her because she's blending in right now. If she makes it in, I feel like it would be just barely.
Lisa: She's another tall one and I love her body! It's so slender and just like Alana, I could see her walking the couture runways. She's a little rough around the edges, but with a little work, I think she could be great.
Melodie: I feel like she is very average. Her shot was very JCPenney catalog which isn't what I wanted. I wanted something to show your potential. I think she's beautiful and has a great body, but unfortunately, I don't think there is much to her.
Maria: I was hoping for something a little more simple for the shot, but I really like it. The only thing I wish she didn't do was go in full profile because I don't really get to see if her face photographs well. For her to get in, I'd just have to hope it does.
Eugena: I really like that she went for it in her casting shot, but it didn't fully pay off because her face does look strained. It might have been better to do something more simple and really let her beauty shine because she's absolutely gorgeous.
Denisa: I really really like this one. I think her face photographs amazingly in this shot which I hope means that she'll keep photographing amazingly. She's not the tallest girl, but she photographs like she is which means she knows her angles. She's great.
Jaslene: I like her too. I actually like a lot of the girls this year. I think her face is very strong, but it could photograph too harsh. I do like the pose even though it's very modeling 101, but it's good. I do think she looks a little on the thin side, but that could work for her.
Annabella: That face. She's simply gorgeous. I love the simplicity of her shot as it allowed her to show off her face, but I do wish she did more with the body. Her measurements aren't perfect as her waist and hips are a little bigger than normal, but she's still gorgeous.
Joan: I think that she has the potential to do great things, but she didn't do that in her shot. Her chin was too high up and the way she was holding the dress was awkward. With such a strong pool of applicants this year, I'm not sure that potential alone can get someone into the competition.
Abbey: She's another one that I'm really feeling. She looks like she knows what she's doing in her shot and that's very appealing to me because it means that I'm not going to have to do much to help her out. She kind of has a similar look as Annabella, but I feel like she knows what to do with it more than Annabella.
Jourdan: When I looked at her stats, I was really excited, but then I saw the shot she delivered and was really disappointed. It was very bland and didn't help her at all as I'd cast her based off her measurements. I really am looking for someone who can pop in a picture as simple as that and she didn't do that for me.
Eniko: 25 is on the older side which can be an issue. Many of the other girls are 25, but I didn't see it as an issue because they didn't look older, but Eniko does. It looks like she's had work done on her face as well which makes me think she does look older than she is. |

CASTING ELIMINATION
Elle: Hello ladies. I've gone through your photos and statistics to determine the cast for this cycle of Take it to the Top. There was a lot of talent this year, but only 13 girls can make it into the house.
