Sorry for such a delay. Last week was midterms week and I was too busy to really do anything, but study and then I just got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday so I was a little out of it. I'm working on eliminations right now and the winner should be announced by 3:30!

JUDGINGElle: Well, well, well ladies. We are down to the final three. Since there are only three of you now, there is no pyramid. This week you ladies shot your Revlon and Gucci campaigns. The winner of this competition will be the face of these two huge brands and will have automatic fame. Let's get to seeing who will make it to the final two and get to shoot their Vogue covers as well as walk in a show for a major designer. We will start with Anais this week. Anais: Revlon:  Wow, Anais! I really was not expecting this out of you! I was expecting a really soft, sweet look for you, but you really brought some sexiness and edge. I'm really blown away. There is so much life in the eyes. You really look engaged and you draw me in with your expression. I also love the arms and the hand to the head because, along with the angle of the shot, they make the shot more unique and not so generic cosmetic ad. You killed it with this shot, Anais. Gucci:  I do think this is a strong shot, Anais, but it's a little dark and editorial. I don't necessarily see an ad right away, but it does have a Gucci feel. You nailed the high class sexiness that Gucci is defined by. The chin up is great as your jaw and neck look amazing. The expression is just beautiful. Your lips look so luscious and sexy and the hooded eye brings expression without being too sexy. It's a strong photo, Anais. Cara: Revlon:  I was really surprised by this shot, Cara because I really expected you to go much edgier, but it's nice to see some softness from you. I think you look very young and fresh and I really like that about the shot. The issue I have is that it's a little boring. It doesn't pop. The expression does feel a little dead and I feel like with a face like yours, you could have really pushed further and delivered an amazing photo. Gucci:  You struggled with this shoot, Cara. I was actually really surprised because throughout this competition, you really showed your versatility, but you really didn't nail this shoot. There is some sexiness here, but it's more of the edgy sexiness as opposed to the glamorous look. I do think the face is strong, but the mouth is a little awkward and the body looks great. I love the leg up, but overall, I don't see Gucci. Jaslene: Revlon:  WORK, Jaslene. This is gorgeous. First off, the short hair on you is killer. I love it. Your bone structure is amazing here and even though it is very harsh, it doesn't look drag. I also love how even though you aren't looking at the camera, there is a connection there and you still sell the makeup. You went really edgy and it totally works for Revlon since they have a variety of different styles. Gucci:  Wow, you really just killed it this week, Jaslene. This is another gorgeous shot. This is so sexy, sultry, and soft. Your face is just stunning. The eyes do look hooded, but they add to the sultry aspect of the shot. The dress looks amazing on your body and I love how you are reaching down and caressing your leg. It's just absolutely stunning, Jaslene and I am so impressed. |

ELIMINATIONElle: Welcome back ladies. This is a huge point in the competition as we choose the two best girls from the competition. I can tell you that this was a very difficult decision for me because I had a lot to consider. Your performance in the competition and your performance in the finale thus far all came into play. The first name I am going to call is... Anais! You did very well in this finale and it really showed me the versatility and strength in you. You were kind of a dark horse in this competition, but now you are clearly becoming a force. Great job and congratulations, you'll be shooting for Vogue and walking in a VERSACE fashion show! Will Cara and Jaslene please step forward. This was such a tough decision for me because of all I had to consider. Cara, your history in this competition is basically flawless. You've had no major slip ups. Until today. You weren't bad this week, it's just you weren't great while both Jaslene and Anais killed it. Jaslene, you were actually the strongest this week for me as you scored two perfect scores this week, but what gives me reservations on you is your history. Score wise, you are the weakest, but I feel like that is because of the one runway challenge where both Cara and Anais really excelled while you just did average which put them up almost ten points on you each. Both of you are so strong, but my decision has been made. FINAL JUDGINGElle: Well ladies. This is it. This is the last time I will be judging you in this competition and these final tasks could be what decides who took it to the top. You both posed for Vogue: Italia and then you all walked in an amazing Versace fashion show. Let's get started and Anais, you're first. Anais: Vogue:  I really like this photo, Anais. It's very unique and different and could really be an iconic photo that could define you as a model. It's very sweet, but it does have an edge and that's the type of model I see you as. It definitely shows you as a new face in the industry and it would definitely catch my attention. I love the expression since it is so sweet and relaxed, but still has the high fashion quality that Vogue Italia goes for. Runway:   I really liked you on the runway. You looked like a cool, hip, new model. You really caught my eye. In your first pass, you definitely looked more fresh-faced and youthful. You really looked beautiful and they captured your sweet side, but then in the second pass, you looked like an edgy, cool girl. You looked like a pro up there in the second walk. Amazing job, Anais. Cara: Vogue:  Wow, Cara. I was not expecting this at all from you. This is FIERCE. But it's also sexy and I love it. It has the unsuspected quality that Italian Vogue always goes for and I love it. Your face is just perfection and I love how the color of your eyes matches the color of the water. Your body looks amazing and for some reason I actually really like your claw like hand. For some reason, it just doesn't bother me. It's one of my favorite shots of you, Cara. Runway:   Cara, GUUURRRLLL. You killed it on that runway. Your first walk was great and you really worked the dress as a more feminine, sweet look and you walked like a pro. I would never know that you haven't been walking the runway for years. The second walk was the standout walk of the show, Cara. That dress is killer and you walked like a supermodel in it. The crowd was talking about that pass after the show for hours. You were easily the best girl on the runway, Cara. Jaslene: Vogue:  Jaslene, this is STUNNING. I absolutely love this. Your face just looks amazing. The expression is gorgeous and your bone structure looks amazing. It's very simple and strong and very cover-like. My one issue would be the hands looking a little large, ungraceful, and manly. I do think it's a beautiful shot, though. Runway:   I do think of the three girls, you were the weakest on the runway. You looked beautiful and like a professional model, but even though you didn't look new and you fit in with the other models, both Anais and Cara stood out from them and looked like supermodels. Your walk was good, but it didn't have that wow factor that Anais and Cara had. |

AND THE WINNER IS...Elle: Well ladies, this is it. This is the moment that we've all been waiting for from the start of the competition. If you asked me to choose from casting who the final three would be, none of you would have been here. It would have been Denisa, Abbey, and Lindsey, all girls who went home very early in this competition: Lindsey in week two, Denisa in week three, and Abbey in week five. You three have proven to be stronger than your first impressions and I am very pleased with you girls as a final three. Anais, you came in as a young girl with a fresh, baby face and a lot of potential and week after week, you proved that you're consistently strong and here you are as a strong model. Cara, you came in with a strong look and immediately impressed. You never let up and just completely floored it the entire time. You've proven that you can work with the big guns of today's fashion industry. And finally, Jaslene. I am really surprised that you are here because when you came in, I felt that you had questionable potential, but you clearly have proven that you can work with what you've been given. I love how your harsh look and can easily become soft and how you've shown a lot more than I thought you were able to give. It is now time for me to announce the decision. The first name I am going to call is the girl who is leaving the competition in third place. I'm sorry... Jaslene, but you did not Take It To The Top. I'm very proud of how far you have come and you should be proud, too. But as it came down to the final two tasks, Anais and Cara excelled while you just did well. I'm sorry, but your time in this competition is up. Goodbye and good luck. Anais, Cara. One of you is about to be crowned the winner and one of you is going to come up just short. After the calculations of final scores, the scores were tied at 163.5 each. This decision is much more unclear than in cycle one, but I have made a decision. The winner of cycle two of Take It To The Top is... CARA! Congratulations! You took it to the top! You've won the contract with IMG, the $100,000 contract with Revlon, the Gucci campaign, the cover of Italian Vogue, and the $250,000 cash prize! You've proven week after week that you're a force in the industry and I'm so proud to call you the winner of this competition. *hugs Anais* You are such an amazing model, Anais, but I just felt that supermodel quality of Cara in this end of the finale as she scored a perfect thirty out of thirty. You were a pleasure to have in this competition and you will still have an amazing career. I'm sorry, but you did not Take It To The Top. Goodbye and good luck. Me: Congratulations to funfun for winning and getting runner up and to tennis for coming in third. I really wasn't expecting Cara to win as I'm was not a huge fan of her when I've seen her used in other games, but she really dominated all cycle. Thank you for all who played and thank you for bearing with the slow pace as I've been really busy with school. I'm probably not going to host for a while unless I get some sudden free time and inspiration. Thanks again for participating and I hope to see you next cycle (whenever that may be). |

Cara: *eyes widen* Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! This has been my goal since the beginning of the competition and I cant believe I actually achieved it! *confessional* I was actually pretty confident I would win. But after the first half of the finale I thought that it was over for me, but I am so happy to be crowned the winner and I cant wait to go and rub it in the face of every girl who didn't consider me competition.  OOC: Amazing game bdon! I really wanted to do better this cycle and I am so glad to have won and also gotten second with Anais. I actually predicted that if I did win with any of my girls it would be either Cara or Anais and im glad it was Cara. I will anxiously await your next game! ;D |
