Casting Deliberations
Lara: So Evandro, Coco, it is now time for the three of us to discuss the potential models for this cycles cast.
Evandro: Having been in their position before it wont be easy.
Coco: But it definately will be fun!
Lara: Alright then you two, lets get started.
Lara: As the first girl to evaluate this cycle I must say I am not overly impressed. Don't get me wrong these are both great shots, good face, good posing. But she's just...
Coco: Bland?
Lara: Basically.
Evandro: Well you don't always need the most unique look to be a top model. And she performed well, I like her.
Coco: I think we could give her a chance. I mean you can't deny these are two really great photos. Is she jumping in her casting one? Props.
Lara: Let's move on to the rest.
Lara: Now SHE is a lot more interesting than Ali number one.
Coco: I agree. She's quirky, I can see her taking after me in the competition.
Evandro: Okay she's unique, ill give her that. But compare her shots to Ali M's, Ali M's are clearly more professional and look like they belong in a comp card.
Lara: But Ali S is taller AND younger.
Coco: Were only two contestants in you guys. Moving on~
Lara: She has an incredibly edgy look. I actually really like her beauty shot, it's strong.
Evandro: I feel like she might be too harsh though. Her casting shot im a little torn on, its not bad but it sort of creeps me out.
Coco: There are plenty of haute couture designers who would book a girl like her.
Lara: But is she going to be versatile? I am not sure if she will be versatile enough for the competition.
Evandro: I really like her. But I kinda feel like a pedo looking at her.
Coco: She's actually 19.
Evandro: She definately looks younger than that in her beauty shot, almost too young.
Lara: She's one of those girls who will have to find the fine line between youthful and child like. That being said her casting shot is to die for.
Coco: Agreed, it could be a part of a Vogue America spread on new faces.
Coco: *Fangirls* Avril!
Evandro & Lara:.......
Evandro: Anyways. I think she did a good job of hiding her height, she looks more like 5'5 than 5'1. But.
Lara: Just say it. Its sooooo recording artist. With all of that hair in her face, its not a model at all.
Coco: Don't hate!
Lara: Im just saying we have had celebrities who have worked it like Jennifer, and this isn't up to that bar.
Lara: Her look is so 90's supermodel. And that type of look is becoming a little more popular again. And I am so feeling her beauty shot.
Coco: But that casting shot? I mean her posing is awful. Its so awkward from the body to the face.
Evandro: She's also 28 years old. And I think she looks a little older than that honestly. She's a no for me.
Lara: Well see.
Lara: Well hello handsome.
Evandro: Whats up with the missing hip measurement?
Lara: One of our assistants passed out as she was measuring him.
Evandro: Ah. I see.
Coco: There is something about his look and posing....its so elegant. Evandro was a bit more edgy but Corey is very suave. I like it.
Evandro: Edgy is better than suave. But I really like him, these are both great photos.
Lara: Well the casting is sort of dull. But I agree, he has potential.
Coco: I get the feeling that she has spunk. Just something about the way she gives her facial expressions edge.
Lara: She's very Marloes 2.0 in her beauty shot. And Marloes won the first cycle.
Evandro: I think she's sort of on the plain side actually. I mean right now she stands out because she's only the third blonde we have seen, but in the general spectrum of blondes she's not that unique.
Lara: True. We can't all look like me.
Evandro: Someone teach this girl how to make a compcard.
Lara: I see what you guys meant about Ali M's talent making up for uniqueness, because Hayley clearly isn't sure of what she's doing.
Coco: Aw come on guys! Questionable photo choices aside she is really quite beautiful! And that casting shot is very glamorous and beautiful.
Evandro:....You can barely see her face in her beauty shot.
Coco: She's a new model, these things can be taught! I think she is full of potential, she just picked some bad photos.
Lara: Anyways~
Coco: Mariacarla Boscono 2.0 in that casting shot.
Evandro: She has really interesting bone structure. Sort of ugly-pretty?
Lara: I feel like if she photographs bad it will be like...really bad. But when she's good she will knock it out of the park.
Coco: How right are your first impressions most of the time Lara?
Lara:....Accurate. Mostly. I dont know, not totally sure about her.
Lara: What's with all these brunettes with the same names? First the Ali's and now Katie/Kati.
Coco: Its not the same name.
Lara: Its pronounced the same.
Evandro: She's in the same boat as Kati for me. I mean she isn't looking too flattering in that beauty shot.
Lara: True. But in motion and lookwise I prefer her. And her casting is okay.
Coco: I sort of have mixed feelings. A maybe for me.
Evandro: By far the most interesting face of the blondes so far. Her beauty shot is stunning.
Coco: She's definately an editorial girl, but I also see some glam hidden in there. She might not be the most memorable though.
Evandro: I am liking her, I think she would make a good addition to the cast.
Evandro: She's 27. And it sort of shows in her beauty shot. But I dont really mind either.
Lara: I completely agree. Her age makes her look more experienced than old, I mean just looking at these photos you can tell she knows what she is doing. She has modeling experience.
Coco: I see her as a girl who is always going to be consistant. But is that enough to make a winner?
Evandro: Well I was consistant my whole cycle and I won.
Lara: Compared to Caroline who's older I prefer Lee.
Lara: If Evandro was edgy and Corey was suave, then Matt is just adorable!
Coco: Oh boy.
Lara: Its so interesting that he is British because his look is sort of all-american to me. I love him, he's so cute!
Evandro: I think he is a bit rough right now, but he is someone we could seriously develop.
Coco: I see some hidden inner edge in him, and I am really interested to see what he could deliver. And these are some good shots too.
Lara: He also clearly knows what type of photos should be going into a beginner models comp card, which is more than I can say for some of these girls.
Evandro: Not feeling her.
Lara: Yeah same. Something about her face in that beauty shot is just off, maybe its the angle, but she looks old.
Coco: You know what, I actually really like her. Yeah maybe she does look a bit old but its very classic and beautiful.
*Evandro and Lara tilt their heads*
Lara: Huh. Yeah I kinda see it.
Evandro: Im on the fence. This girl is giving me some serious inner turmoil.
Lara: I don't think her look is the most special, its very blank canvas. But that can also be a good thing, I feel like she can be transformed to fit whatever any designer needs. And that casting shot, gorgous!
Evandro: I don't like her beauty though. Her eyes look nice but there is no neck and her shoulders look broad. And its sort of overly intricate for a comp card.
Coco: If her beauty had been similiar to her casting shot she probably would have been a yes right away, but were gonna need to think on her some more.
*The judges are all in silence*
Lara: Eh.
Evandro: Eh.
Coco: Meh.
Lara: That sums up how I feel. That beauty shot is sleepy.
Evandro: The casting is too try hard.
Coco: Her look stands out at least.
Lara: She has this whole androgyny thing going on that I really like. But something seems a bit off.
Coco: I think its these photos. They look sort of amatuer. Especially the casting shot, the posing is all kinds of awkward.
Evandro: Isn't she 32 as well? And only 5'9 and a half? Im not sure she picked the right time to start modeling. I mean Lee isnt as old and looks experienced in her photos, Saskia doesn't.
Coco:....Them hips dont lie.
Evandro: There is nothing wrong with a girl having a little extra!
Lara: Yeah!
Coco: I kid, I kid. She clearly knows her angles because her body looks great in the casting. But then I get to the face.
Lara: I see what you mean, there is this constant look of aprehensiveness in both shots as if she wasn't sure what she was doing, it makes her look inexperienced. .
Evandro: Her face is lovely though if she can learn to relax it. But I agree, she's a maybe.
Lara: Love.
Coco: I am SO feeling her right now.
Lara: That beauty shot is stunning. She's so androgynous, there is something about it that looks like art. And her casting is probably my favorite of the bunch, its unique without being too over the top.
Coco: She is clearly going to be a risk taker. Or a great poser at the least. If I was looking through models cards and I saw hers I would book her just so I could see more of what she looks like.
Evandro: Yeah im not even going to argue. She's my favorite
