Expulsion Ceremony
Lara: Hello everyone and welcome back from judging. For your photoshoot this week you all shot two different frames, one nude and the other in lingerie/swimsuits. Overall the results were impressive! There will be 3 different scores this week, one for your nude photo, one for your covered up one, and another for the theme for a total of 15.

Corey, this is your 2nd time here. You did improve this week but the problem is that it wasn't enough. You had two good shots but the people called above you each had at least 1 amazing one. Andie, last week you were so full of confidence on the runway but at this photoshoot its like you crawled inside a shell, your photos were the weakest of the bunch. So who stays?

*The contestants receive a mail telling them to go outside where a limo will be awaiting them, quickly entering the cramped limo they are driven to and arrive in front of a studio where Lara meets them* Lara: Heeeeey! Welcome everyone! Today we are going to do a very unique shoot that I have personally never done before on this show. So follow me inside! *they go inside and see their set* You will all be posing in front of this background and we are going to do a very couture and editorial shoot. Your outfits will all have black and white stripes, patterns and prints on them to match the set for a very dynamic and fashion forward series of photos. I want you to pose is a way that is high fashion and strong. Goodluck everyone! You don't necessarily need to be wearing stripes, any over the top prints or patterns will do, and the color doesn't matter since the shots will be in black and white anyways. It should be full body though, or close enough. -Photos -Couture I might add on a grade if I feel the requirements for it are met. |

Corey: Thank you very much for the opportunity, I really appreciate it. *exit confessional* It is disappointing to be leaving so soon, but overall I can't say I'm very upset or surprised about this. I do think I had more to give, but overall I'll admit that something just wasn't clicking for me yet and Lara was completely justified in her decision. I am really am thankful for this though, I don't know of any other opportunities like it out there for male models, and I plan to use it as a platform to launch my career to new heights. Lee: *in confessional* I had hoped to be called a little higher, but overall I am happy and proud of my results from last week because I feel like I made a big statement. While the industry has come such long ways with Asian models recently, I feel like we are stereotyped and pigeonholed as strictly high fashion, so I was proud to show that we can be sexy too. Matt: *in confessional* I am pretty content right now. I got another high call-out, I'm pretty sure Lara has a crush on me, and my most direct competitor was just eliminated. I was a little surprised to see Corey leave so soon since he had so much potential, but he is probably relieved to be out of my shadow now since I have been completely outshining him. Tara:  YES!!! *in confessional* Three first call-outs in only four weeks. These bitches better watch themselves! Especially Matt because if Lara doesn't take advantage of him then I sure will. I'll post my stuff in the afternoon/evening. |

Judging  I like this Ali, I get a kind of female Mad Hatter thing from it. I love that dress on you, it makes you look tall and lean. I think your posing is good but safe, and your face is, well also good and safe. I wasn't too impressed with your film, it wasn't bad, there just wasnt anything in it that blew me away.  Fantastic. This is so strong Ali. I just love how confident you look, you are just sitting down elegant and looking at the camera like "Yeah, I got this." You have amazing cheekbones and I love the elegance of the hand, and because this is a more high fashion photo-shoot the awkward things like the missing leg and hunched back actually work to make the shot more interesting.  You seemed so confident at the shoot so I was expecting to be blown away, and while you had a great film I wouldnt say it accomplished that. I do love this shot though, you look so incredibly tall and I absolutely LOVE the styling. I do think your face could have used more power, I know last week I told you it was too intense, but thats because last week was a sexy shoot, this shoot this week is high fashion and you could have used your strong look in a positive way. But regardless well done.  Its an alright shot. I wasnt too pleased with your film, a lot of the photos were very pretty and cute and not right for the shoot. This definately has a more high fashion vibe to it, I like the somewhat masculine pose but your face is weak. The expression looks like your not sure of what your doing, if it was like an intense stare it would have made it so much better.  You were another person I was disapointed with. The whole theme was prints and stripes and stuff, and you were wearing a lot of basic colored outfits. I really like the patterns on the clothes here though but I feel like its not a great shot. Its very posed and stiff, and you do get lost in all those prints. Your face is good, but not strong enough to make up for the rest.  This is stunning Katie, and I think it was the first one in your film too. You are working that pose, your legs look amazing and you are giving me angles! Your facial expression is also stunning, i love that sensual, gasping look on you. Its fantastic.  Its funny, I expected you to bring some really amazing couture photos but I was left wanting more. This is a great shot, your posing is good and the clothes look good too. You also have some power in your expression but it doesnt blow me away, its just sort of there.  You kinda had trouble Matt because we didnt have enough printed clothes for male models in stock, as such this was the only usable shot and you had to be shirtless. But you really did a great job of making it more high fashion and not sexy! And thats because you posed in an edgier way, and also because you are giving such an intense expression, that gaze is killer.  I really like how you added a story to it, I have no idea what it is, but at least you tried. I love how you are looking off to the side and how you put your hands in the jacket in order to stretch it out so it stands out more, you have all that print on you and it doesnt overpower you, well done Montana.  Girl. I was not impressed with you on set, I had a hard time choosing a shot because I didn't really like much. I do think this is one is okay though, I could tell what you were going for but I don't love the execution of it. I feel like both your posing and expression just look awkward. But at least the clothes look amazing on you. |

This is an interesting bottom two because you each had what the other needed, Andie you worked various prints in your film but lacked the high fashion aspect, while Kati you were high fashion but wore a lot of plain looks. In the end both your photos were able to fit into the theme but neither of them were really great shots. So who stays?

Lara: Hi everyone! As you know its back to school season so we are taking advantage of that to bring out our commercial side. You will all be taking part in a catalog shoot for JC Penny where you will model their back to school fashions. It should be fun, cute, and relatable. Remember your demographic is mainly high school students, and the clothing is for back to school so make sure the clothes you pick out are appropriate. Goodluck everyone!

Lee: *in confessional* I was a little disappointed with last week's result because I had hoped to get a better critique and be called higher, but unfortunately that was not the case. Hopefully I stepped it back up this week though...I'm not much of a commercial looking girl so it's obviously not my forte, but I think that will work to my advantage in the sense that I can exceed my expectations.
