Elle: Welcome back for another season of Take It To The Top, inspired by Abbey Lee's famous "pyramid" from her hit television show, Dance Moms. Last cycle, Cara Delevigne was able to fight off 12 other girls to make it to the top of the pyramid and win the competition and all of the prizes. This year we're looking for girls who can truly work in the industry. We expect nothing less than perfection. To win this competition, not only do you need amazing modeling skills, but also the brains to make big strategic moves as well as alliances to back you up. So here's how the competition works. Each week, a photoshoot will occur where you will all shoot with a specific theme. Based off those photos, I will rank you on a pyramid scale. If you land on the bottom row of the pyramid that week, you are put up for elimination. The girl who lands on the top of the pyramid will choose two girls to nominate for elimination. If you're not nominated, you're safe. If you are, then I will choose one of you to leave the competition. It's as simple as that. If you can stay out of the bottom row altogether, you're in great shape, but if you fall down there just once, your time could be up. So let's get started. I need 13 girls in the house and things to base my decision off of. For casting, I will need a simple, full-body casting photo (like the ones from ANTM) that shows your potential. I will also need your age, height, and measurements. No beauty shot this time around. You've got one shot to impress me. Good luck. Rules: -4 girls maximum -NTM girls are allowed (and encouraged) -48 hour deadline unless otherwise stated -2 public posts before you are disqualified -Role playing is encouraged greatly (it makes the game more fun for everyone) -Have fun! Prizes: -$100,000 contract with Revlon Cosmetics -Cover of Vogue: Italia -Ad campaign with Gucci -1 year representation with IMG Models: New York -$250,000 cash Contestants: Juju Ivanyuk Nicole Pollard Anna de Rijk Martha Hunt Liu Wen Sui He Tanya Dziahileva Sophie Vlaming Sara Sampaio Ming Xi Daniela Braga Lynn Amelie Rage Vika FalileevaKel MarkeyTop 5 Photos of All Time 1. JUDGING
Elle: So last year, I gave my initial thoughts on the girls by myself, but this year, I wanted to get a second opinion... And a third opinion. Who better to do that than two girl whom have made it to the top of the pyramid themselves. Please welcome cycle 1 winner Karlie Kloss and the winner of this past cycle Cara Delevigne!
Karlie: Hello!
Cara: I'm really excited to see the potential girls for this cycle.
Elle: Okay ladies, so we have 20 girls that need to be narrowed down to 13 spots. Let's go alphabetically starting with Aline.
Aline Cara: I don't know about her. I feel like she has a good body for fashion, but she doesn't jump out at me. Elle: I agree, Cara. Karlie: But I feel like with a little bit of work, she could have something great. Cara: As the first girl I've seen, I'm not super impressed.
Anna Karlie: She photographs short. Elle: Well everyone is going to photograph short compared to you. Karlie: But you can angle your body to give the height that you're lacking. 5'9 used to cut it, but now the girls are generally 5'10 or 5'11. Cara: I think she has a gorgeous face though. She could definitely work for beauty, but I do agree with her photographing short. If she can learn her angles, she could be great.
Barbara Elle: Her height really kills her for me. She's short and doesn't photograph tall. Cara: Well Kate Moss was even shorter than her. Karlie: But Kate Moss was also super interesting and different. She had the makings of a supermodel. This girl doesn't have that. Elle: I do think she's a cute girl and could be a huge commercial success though.
Daniela Cara: I like that she's young. And she's got the body for this. Karlie: She's 5'11, but photographs like she's a petite model. Even with high waisted shorts she looks short to me. Elle: I think she has LOADS of potential. Look at that jawline. Look at those eyes. There is something there. Karlie: I don't see it. Elle: Then you're blind.
Darla Karlie: *pause* I'm not sure. I think she's really plain. Cara: I'd have to agree with that. I mean, I think if we saw something different from her with more styling, she could deliver something, but you need to stun when you're stripped down to the bare minimum and I don't think she does that. Elle: You hit the nail on the head, Cara.
Erin Elle: I think she's really pretty. She has great height and a banging body. Cara: I just think there are so many blondes out there that there needs to be something different about you and I think she's very common. Karlie: Look at those freckles! You're telling me that isn't different. Cara: It's different, but it limits her to cute commercial work. She's not a high fashion model. Karlie: I think she has potential.
Jessica Karlie: The first thing I notice about her is her age. Though she doesn't look it in the photo as much, the 27 thing is really getting to me. Elle: Well I'm 49 and still working. Karlie: But you also started at 15 and made a household name for yourself by 18. She's not going to start at 27 and survive as long as you have because by the time she starts picking up speed, she'll already be looked over because of her age. It's a waste of time to cast her. Cara: I think she's kind of in the same boat as Erin with beaing a plain blonde. There really isn't anything special about her.
Juju Elle: It kills me that she's only 5'8 because I think she's stunning. Cara: But she has the right proportions to make her look taller. You'd only notice it if she was standing next to girls who are three inches taller because she already just appears taller. Karlie: I agree with Cara on this one. I think she has a youthful look that is too good to pass up because she's missing a few inches.
Kathrin Karlie: Well, there's a nipple so I guess she's comfortable which is great. Elle: I think it's great that she went for it, but it's not what I asked for. I asked for something clean and simple and she gave something very editorial. She didn't listen. Cara: Following directions is key in this industry because if she can't listen on set, then she's not going to get a good reputation and won't be booked. Karlie: And she's 25 which is a little old. She looks older than that too.
Kel Cara: I think she's chic and cool. Elle: She's young too which is great. Karlie: I do think she needs to learn to use her body more though because her pose is bad. But that face really saves her. I'd giver her a shot.
Liu Karlie: She clearly knows what she's doing. She's the first girl who's tall and looks it and her face is stunning. Cara: She could definitely stand out in the Asian market and that's tough to do. Elle: Wow, finally there is a girl that we agree on! I think she's great.
Lynn Elle: She's just a baby! She's the youngin of the group. Karlie: I think she's beautiful. One more inch and she'd be perfect. Elle: She's only 17 so she could still get that inch. The one issue I have is that she did overstyle herself for the shoot. Cara: I think that she's a beautiful, young girl and it would be such a waste to pass her up.
Martha Karlie: She reminds me of Kate Upton and that's a compliment because she's huge right now. Cara: I'm not positive if she's going to be able to transcend fashion and glamour modeling. Elle: I'm beginning to think you just don't want another blonde winner, Cara. Cara: It's not that. I just want an amazing blonde winner. Elle: I think she has the potential to be amazing. Cara: And I don't.
Ming Cara: And I though Liu was an amazing Asian girl. Ming is even better. Elle: It's refreshing to see more Asian girls in the competition. And if they are this good, we definitely could see one of them take the cake. Karlie: She's my favorite girl so far.
Nicole Karlie: Finally someone on my level! Maybe not skill wise, but at least I could look her in the eyes without doing power squats. Cara: I think she's one to watch. She may not have the best shot now, but she could really have a shot. Elle: I agree with both of you. Karlie: I think she's like a better version of Klara from my cycle.
Sara Elle: I think her and Daniela are very similar except Sara has a little more maturity in her look. Karlie: I agree, but I also think that Sara is a little more impactful for me. I could see her doing high fashion and then doing Victoria's Secret the next day. Cara: I just think she could have done more in her shot. It makes me wonder if she'll rest on being gorgeous.
Sophie Cara: She has a really interesting face. Karlie: I really love her big eyes. They make her stand out a lot. She's a cute girl. Elle: I think we are all in agreement that we like her.
Sui Elle: Another Asian beauty! Cara: Though she's probably my least favorite of the three. I don't totally love her face, but she has an amazing body. Karlie: I think she made the huge mistake of not wearing heels in this shot. Models need to always be in heels. They add length and she lost that here. Otherwise, she's beautiful. Elle: I agree with both of you. I think she has a lot of potential.
Tanya Elle: I think she has what it takes to be a model, but I'm not sure if she has the skills to do it. Karlie: You took the words right out of my mouth. She's a gorgeous girl. A unique one. But I just think she completely rested on that. Cara: I'd have to agree with both of you. She just doesn't know what to do in front of the camera. But I think of the girl who don't know what their doing, she has the most potential.
Zuzana *Karlie and Cara flip through their papers to find her* Karlie: *finds her* Oh, her. Okay. Elle: Well clearly she's not memorable. Cara: Clearly. Elle: She also didn't listen to directions at all. I said I wanted a simple casting photo and she went nude. Karlie: Yeah, she's not memorable and can't follow directions. Not a great combo.

CASTING ELIMINATION
Elle: Hello ladies. This year, the potential in the room is very strong. It was difficult choosing who to cut and who to move on to the main competition. But a decision has been made which will be beneficial to thirteen of you girls. For the remaining seven, unfortunately, the decision did not go your way. I will be calling you down one by one in the order in which Karlie, Cara, and myself were impressed. The girl who impressed us the most and is the first girl moving on in the competition is...
Ming. We see a lot of potential in you, Ming. The next girl is...
Liu. Two Asian girls in the top two spots. That shows that you girls are doing something right. *Sui looks nervous as two Asian models have already been called and the likelihood of three making the cast is slim*
Juju. Your height is going to work against you, but we see a lot of potential elsewhere, so make sure it doesn't hurt that potential we see. Congratulations.
Nicole.
There's room for one more Asian goddess, Sui. Congratulations.
Lynn.
Kel.
Daniela.
Anna.
Martha. We see a little Kate Upton in you.
Sara.
Sophie.
I only have one more spot in the competition. *all the girls are beginning to tear up* The last spot is going to...
Tanya! Your potential was too immense to pass up. You just need to work on using that potential effectively. Congratulations.
*walks over to the other girls*
Ladies, I'm so sorry for this. I think taking the experience of not getting something you really wanted is very valuable because this industry is full of rejection. Take this in stride, ladies. Go out there and work for this because this isn't the end of your career. I'm sorry, but you will not be taking it to the top this year, but I highly encourage you to come back next year.

Elle: *joins the girls at their house*
Hi ladies! Isn't it exciting for the competition to finally start? Well it's about to get even more exciting because this cycle is going to be jam packed with amazing clients to work for. Designers, magazines, and photographers all around the globe have seen what this show has produced and have wanted to work with you girls. The first client is a big one: AMERICAN VOGUE. *the girls' jaws all drop and they start screaming with excitement* However, only the four girls at the top of the pyramid will make it into the issue. Since it is for their July issue, they want to do something similar to what they just did in June with Kate Upton. You will be shooting swimsuits, but in a more glamorous, old-fashioned kind of way. Think vintage swimsuits with beautiful prints. Bring something glamorous to the table, but don't go too sexy. Keep the appeal open to women as this is a fashion magazine. There are iPads in the house as you've probably notices, so if you need references, they are there. Good luck ladies!
