Me: The scores are way too close for me to come to a quick decision right now, and I am exhausted and away from home for the weekend, so elimination is going to have to wait until either the afternoon or very late at night. Sorry for the delay!

ELIMINATION Liya: Hello lovely ladies, and welcome to this week's elimination! I have deliberated long and hard, and this has been one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make so far this cycle. Once again, nobody did poorly this week, so you ladies just don't make my decisions easy for me. Anyway, without further ado, the first name I am going to call is... THUY! Congratulations Thuy, even though your film was a bit off, the final product was amazing and you're really establishing yourself as a dominant force in this competition. BAMBI! The more I've looked at the photo, the more I've liked it. Great job this week, congratulations! NATHALIE! MARCELINA! KATE! CARA! This is another week when being in the bottom 3 really means nothing other than the fact that somebody needed to be this low. Don't take it hard whatsoever, you're still a frontrunner. Will Kim and Natasha please step forward? What I find most interesting about this bottom two is that both of you were both reassigned to Commercial, which seems like it should be the easiest brand but so many girls seem to struggle with it. And the other interesting thing is that neither of you did poorly, though your photos weren't without flaws. Kim, your photo did grow on me the more I looked at it and I appreciated that you really went for it, but it was still a bit over the top and I am concerned that you dropped so suddenly after your FCO last week. Natasha, you already won for the Glamour girls, so I'm wondering if that made you a bit complacent because the more I looked at your photo this week, the less I liked it. So who stays and who goes? * flips photo* Neither of you... ...will be going home. The competition is just too close and the decision was just too difficult this week, so both of you will be staying. Just take this as a wake up call, both of you. Congratulations Kim and Natasha, you're both still in the running.

(Liya Letter skipped this week)
Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week you will be returning to your original prescribed Brands, so you all can go back to your comfort zones. However, this week there will be no photoshoot...but instead, there will be go-sees! And each Brand will be going on different go-sees for different clients, so pay close attention!
Commercial: Your 3 go-sees will be for Covergirl cosmetics, Gap, and Glamour Magazine.
Couture: Your 3 go-sees will be for Giorgio Armani cosmetics, Givenchy, and W Magazine.
Editorial: Your 3 go-sees will be for Estee Lauder cosmetics, Oscar de la Renta, and Vogue magazine.
Glamour: Your 3 go-sees will be for Revlon cosmetics, La Perla lingerie, and Esquire magazine.
Now, the requirements for all of the go-sees will be the same, and those are as follows:
- 1 portfolio consisting of 4 photos that will be used for all three clients (so choose wisely and make sure to have at least one shot really match each client) - An outfit you'll wear - A polaroid - A runway walk - A short speech showing your personality
Good luck!

COMMERCIAL GO-SEE RESULTS CARA CovergirlPorfolio: 19/20 Speech: 7/10 Pola: 4.5/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 35.5/40 Comments: Cara is wonderful, she has a fantastic face with features that work perfectly for almost any cosmetic product. She is a little edgier than our typical Covergirl, but considering that we are transitioning into an edgier aesthetic, it's not really a problem. Her personality was very confident, but I wish there was more of a spark to it because we want our spokesmodels to be personable. GapPortfolio: 19.5/20 Runway: 5/10 Pola: 4.5/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 34/40 Comments: She's very commercial and cute yet chic and high-class, which fits our aesthetic perfectly, and she photographs like a dream. I would book her for an ad in a heartbeat, but her runway walk is very worrisome, she looked like a zombie with her tense hunched shoulders, stiff arms, slack mouth, and dead eyes. GlamourPortfolio: 20/20 Pola: 9/10 Outfit: 10/10 Total: 39/40 Comments: Fantastic! Just a fabulous model all around, we want to work with her right away. GRAND TOTAL: 108.5/120 NATHALIE CovergirlPorfolio: 17.5/20 Speech: 8/10 Pola: 5/5 Outfit: 4.5/5 Total: 35/40 Comments: Very beautiful and relatable, definitely has the spark we look for in a Covergirl model, especially in person. She looked a little mature in most of her photos but one showed us she can still be plenty youthful, and she could've been more talkative but overall she was sweet. We could use her for both print and commercials. GapPortfolio: 18.5/20 Runway: 8/10 Pola: 5/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 36.5/40 Comments: A very beautiful, talented, and overall well-rounded model. In person she blew us away, and she was pretty strong in print too, and though her walk was a little frumpy it had spunk and showed promise. GlamourPortfolio: 18/20 Pola: 10/10 Outfit: 9/10 Total: 37/40 Comments: When she walked in the door we spotted tremendous potential, and her performances did not disappoint. Overall a very strong model who would be easy to work with. GRAND TOTAL: 108.5/120 (Me: How strange! I swear I didn't plan for their grand totals to be the same... ;D)

COUTURE GO-SEE RESULTS KATE ArmaniPortfolio: 17/20 Speech: 7/10 Pola: 3.5/5 Outfit: 2/5 Total: 29.5/40 Comments: The beauty shots of her portfolio were great, I could see one of them as an ad for us already, so that was a plus, but she had very few redeeming qualities in person...she looked like she had just come back from a one night stand, not like a model on a go-see. GivenchyPortfolio: 18/20 Runway: 9/10 Pola: 4/5 Outfit: 3/5 Total: 35/40 Comments: Very strong in print and on the runway, overall a very usable model. And while her personal style was great for hanging out with friends or a normal day, it wasn't particularly suitable for a go-see aside from the heels. W MagazinePortfolio: 16.5/20 Pola: 9/10 Outfit: 7/10 Total: 32.5/40 Comments: If she had omitted the photo in the red dress then her portfolio would've been been fabulous, and if she had gone with a more chic, professional top then her outfit would've been fabulous as well. So overall rough around the edges, but still usable. GRAND TOTAL: 97/120 MARCELINA ArmaniPortfolio: 15/20 Speech: 7/10 Pola: 4.5/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 31.5/40 Comments: She's a very extraordinary girl with one of the best looks we've seen. She can work a full body photo for sure, but she had no true beauty shots in her portfolio so I have no idea if she can sell cosmetics, and she wasn't particularly charismatic either. GivenchyPortfolio: 19.5/20 Runway: 8.5/10 Pola: 4.5/5 Outfit: 4/5 Total: 36.5/40 Comments: She's unique, she's edgy, she's couture, she's everything we look for in a model. W MagazinePortfolio: 20/20 Pola: 9.5/10 Outfit: 9.5/10 Total: 39/40 Comments: Marvelous. We want to work with her. Right now. GRAND TOTAL: 107/120 THUY ArmaniPortfolio: 19/20 Speech: 8.5/10 Pola: 3/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 34.5/40 Comments: Her polaroid was a little soccer mom-ish, and she could use some practice speaking though she was very charming and we love accents. Overall she is fabulous though, a face like hers doesn't come around often so we'd love to use her in an ad. GivenchyPortfolio: 19/20 Runway: 8.5/10 Pola: 3/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 35.5/40 Comments: Her polaroid was nothing special, but overall she sure is, definitely the type of model we'd work with in a campaign and on the runway. W MagazinePortfolio: 20/20 Pola: 6/10 Outfit: 10/10 Total: 36/40 Comments: Mediocre polaroid, but otherwise absolutely perfect, we would love to feature her in an editorial or even on a cover. GRAND TOTAL: 106/120

EDITORIAL GO-SEE RESULTS BAMBI Estee LauderPortfolio: 19/20 Speech: 7/10 Pola: 3.5/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 34.5/40 Comments: I was a little unsure of her when I saw her pola, but she made me a believer in her portfolio. Her spokesmodel skills could use work, but overall we could definitely use her. Oscar de la RentaPortfolio: 18/20 Runway: 8/10 Pola: 4/5 Outfit: 4/5 Total: 34/40 Comments: Overall a strong and well rounded model. Not a particular stand-out, but someone we would hire at least once. VoguePortfolio: 18/20 Pola: 9/10 Outfit: 10/10 Total: 37/40 Comments: Great style, unique look, talented in front of the camera...not much else to ask for really, a very solid model. GRAND TOTAL: 105.5/120 KIM Estee LauderPortfolio: 17.5/20 Speech: 9.5/10 Pola: 3.5/5 Outfit: 5/5 Total: 34.5/40 Comments: Not quite a typical Estee Lauder girl, and she photographs a little hard though luckily her last photo showed us a soft side, but overall usable I'd say and the best spokesmodel we saw. Oscar de la RentaPortfolio: 18.5/20 Runway: 9/10 Pola: 4/5 Outfit: 4.5/5 Total: 36/40 Comments: She's a little rough around the edges and not quite as regal as I usually go for, but she has plenty of potential and shows quite a bit of promise, so I'd love to work with her. VoguePortfolio: 19.5/20 Pola: 9/10 Outfit: 9.5/10 Total: 38/40 Comments: Edgy, fresh, and full of potential and talent...we're completely sold on this girl, she could be the next big thing. GRAND TOTAL: 108.5/120

GLAMOUR GO-SEE RESULTS NATASHA RevlonPortfolio: 10/20 Speech: 9/10 Pola: 4/5 Outfit: 4/5 Total: 27/40 Comments: She's very confident and personable, so we could definitely use her as a spokesmodel. However...all of her photos were completely full body with similar expressions, so I really have no idea if she's a good beauty model so I can't use her for an ad. La PerlaPortfolio: 19.5/20 Runway: 9/10 Pola: 4/5 Outfit: 3.5/5 Total: 36/40 Comments: Very sexy and alluring yet still classy, we could easily work with her. EsquirePortfolio: 20/20 Pola: 9/10 Outfit: 8.5/10 Total: 37.5/40 Comments: What a bombshell...we're definitely working with her asap! GRAND TOTAL: 100.5/120

ELIMINATION Liya: Hello lovely ladies, and welcome to your tenth elimination ceremony! This week your potential to get booked was put to the test, and overall the results were pretty close and pretty impressive. You each saw three top clients of your respective brand, which were: a cosmetics company, which looked for beauty and personality for print ads and television commercials; a designer, who looked for talent in front of the camera and on the runway for ad campaigns and fashion shows; and a magazine, which looked for photographic abilities and personal presence for an editorial. Several of you booked every single job, while the rest of you booked most of the jobs. Now, let's get down to the elimination. The first name I am going to call is... NATHALIE...and KIM! Congratulations you two, both of you booked every single job this week and tied for the best score, and you also received the overall most positive feedback so I was very impressed, so you both receive the very first double FCO in this competition. CARA! Congratulations Cara, you performed fantastically this week and also tied for the top score, though you didn't book the GAP runway which is why you weren't also called first, but you should still be proud. MARCELINA! THUY! BAMBI! Great job this week Bambi, don't worry about being called so low because you still impressed me and booked a lot of jobs. Will Kate and Natasha please step forward? Even though you two are basically opposites as models, you both stand before me for the same reasons: the lowest scores, and making a fatal mistake in your go-sees. Kate, it's kinda a no-brainer why you're here this week, you had the lowest score. And though you still booked an impressive amount of jobs and didn't do poorly, you weren't as impressive as the rest of the girls, and your fatal mistake was in your personal presentation. While your outfit was stylish and trendy for the streets, it was not professional enough to be acceptable for a go-see. Natasha, it severely disappoints me to look at your score because I think if it wasn't for your fatal mistake, you probably would've been called first. However, you failed to listen to directions and as such you screwed up on your Revlon go-see, which cost you a lot of points and the opportunity to work with a major client. In the real modeling world, your agency would be furious with you for making such a careless mistake. In my hand I hold the polaroid of the girl who will be staying. But whose polaroid will that be? * flips photo* Neither of yours. After looking back through the cycle and adding up both of your total scores, you two are only 1 point apart but many points below the other girls, so I am afraid both of you have just fallen too far behind. I am sorry, but both of you will be going home tonight. *hugs Kate* Kate, you were one of the biggest frontrunners in casting and I expected you to destroy this competition. However, despite a few stand-out performances like each runway, you coasted too much and eventually fell behind, and now it has caught up with you. I think you still have what it takes to make it far though, especially on the runways, so don't give up because you really have something special. Goodbye, and good luck. *hugs Kate again* *hugs Natasha* Natasha, I'm sad to see the last Glamour girl go, and I'm sad to see you go. You were a consistent force throughout most of this competition and I expected you to go overseas, but somewhere in the middle you just lost your spark. I do hope you get it back though, and at least you still have the $50,000 contract with Victoria's Secret and GQ cover to give you a good launch when you get out there. You might be the top Glamour girl, but unfortunately your are not the top model here. Goodbye, and good luck. *hugs Natasha again*
