Story: I was vacationing in Mexico when I happened to pass by the Miss Mexico pageant. Naturally despising pageant moms, pageant queens, and generally everything to do with pageants, I of course stopped to watch so I could point and laugh at all the bimbos parading around with vacant smiles and mechanical waves. However, when I got there, I instantly noticed a non-bimbo, one who seemed perfectly genuine and not mechanical in the least. I stayed for the end of the pageant to see her be crowned second, and decided I must approach her because she was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. Here is how the encounter went...

*Daniela walks off stage, and a few interviewers who couldn't make their way over to the winner go up to her*
ChaCha: *pushes past the other interviewers up to Daniela* Excuse me, miss Cosio?
Daniela: Yes?
ChaCha: I have a couple questions for you, if you don't mind answering them.
Daniela: Sure, go ahead!
Other interviewer: Wait, I have questions too! Miss Cos... *ChaCha shoves the interviewer out of the way*
ChaCha: Ignore them. So, Daniela, do you have a lot of experience with pageants?
Daniela: Yes, I do, and though I always find success in them, I guess today was not my day.
ChaCha: Do you plan on trying again after this, or are you ready to shelve your tiara?
Daniela: Well, I'm not really sure. I generally do enjoy competing, but to be completely honest I am beginning to get tired of pageants, they are not as fulfilling as I had hoped and I feel like it's the same thing over and over again, just with a different pre-programmed set of girls.
ChaCha: I completely understand. I personally think you are much too good for pageants, and that you could be doing so much more.
Daniela: Thanks!
ChaCha: Yes, and that is why I am here to make an offer. How about you retire from the pageant circuit and move up to a much more exciting career in modeling? I am a scout for the program "Scouted" and I would love it if you would try out.
Daniela: Really? That is quite the offer... *looks at the winner smiling and waving and fanning herself* ...and I am definitely ready to move on from this. So yes, I would love to join this competition.
ChaCha: Lovely!

Story: I was at the airport flying back to America from France and my flight had just been delayed. I was sitting at the terminal, flipping through the latest Vogue Paris and waiting for my flight when this amazing beauty sat down next to me. Here's how it went...

ChaCha: *Sitting and reading Vogue*
Hanaa: *walks up* Excuse me, is anyone sitting there? *points to the empty seat next to ChaCha*
ChaCha: *without looking up* No, go right ahead.
Hanaa: Thank you. *sits down* *notices ChaCha's magazine* Oh, is that the latest Vogue Paris? I haven't seen this month's issue yet!
ChaCha: Yes it is... *looks up* *notices Hanaa for the first time* *stares at her, evaluating her potential* Are you a fashionista as well?
Hanaa: Oh yes, I love fashion so much! I've always wanted to be a model actually, and I have done some local modeling back in Tunisia but there isn't really a thriving fashion market there.
ChaCha: Well, what if I told you I could make your dream come true?
Hanaa: What? Really?!
ChaCha: Yes! Coincidentally enough I am a model scout and I am currently searching for models for the show "Scouted." I see a lot of potential in you, so if you are ready to go international and really give modeling a shot, I'd love to take you in.
Hanaa: For real? You're not joking?!
ChaCha: Nope!
Hanaa: Well, of course then!

Setting: New York Public Library.

*Jelena is at the library looking for books on how to be a better model scout. She walks past a girl who is intensely studying at the library. Jelena notices this girl is familiar and goes back to talk to her.*

Jelena: *screams* Hey I know you!
Jane: *slams book down* This is a library, you're suppose to be quiet. I have no idea who you are, so please just let me get back to my studies.
Jelena: Ok you don't know me but you must remember my sister, Tatyana Ivanov.
Jane: Her name does ring a bell.
Jelena: She was the girl who found you and tried getting you in that competition Scouted. You didn't get in but she loved you so much that she set you up with IMG.
Jane: Oh she's the girl who set me up with that jank-ass agency
Jelena: What?
Jane: The way they deal with newcomers or should I just say me is terrible. They signed me in New York, Milan, and London but they barely set me up with any work. I just recently booked an editorial in Vogue Italia all by myself and now they've decided to drop me. I just don't get it. They signed this girl Montana a week ago and she's already walking in Milan Fashion Week for blue chip designers. I've come to realize that I don't have the potential to do this anymore. I didn't even really like modeling anyway. The industry is shallow and the girls are idiots. That's why I'm studying to become a doctor.
Jelena: *notices a book on modeling hidden under all of Jane's doctor books* *picks it up* Oh so you don't like modeling eh?
Jane: Shut up!
Jelena: Well I'm a model scout just like my sister and I was wondering if your interested in trying out again for Scouted.
Jane: I don't want to be a model.
Jelena: Oh did I say I was a model scout who wants you to try out for Scouted? I meant to say I'm scouting doctors and I was wondering if you wanted a full scholarship to Harvard, they're the top medical school in the United States.
Jane: OMG REALLY?!
*everyone in the library looks at them*
Jane: *whispers* Omg really?
Jelena: *whispers* Yeah come with me. Oh and tell me more about this Montana girl.
*she forces Jane into doing a photoshoot and Jelena promises to get Jane into Harvard and pay for her tuition if she doesn't get in. They also talk about Montana and where she is now*

Story: After hearing so much about Montana, Jelena flies out all the way to Milan to find her

Jelena: *hands out fliers saying "Missing: Montana Cox. If you have seen her at all call the following number 732-432-1531. $5000 reward for the person who finds her*
Jelena: *sees random tired looking homeless girl on the street* Have you seen this girl? *hands out flier* There's a $5000 reward for the person that helps me find her.
Montana: Montana Cox?
Jelena: Yes that's the girls name
Montana: And you'll give $5000 to the person who finds her.
Jelena: YES! Now have you seen Montana Cox?
Montana: I'm Montana...
Jelena: I don't have time for games, now do you know where she is or not?
Montana: I'm not joking really! *takes off hat and lets hair out* *puts picture on the flier next to her face* See! I am Montana Cox.
Jelena: *knows it's Montana but pretends she doesn't* No you're not!
Montana: Yes I am!
Jelena: Prove it!
Montana: How?
Jelena: Show me your walk!
*Montana struts fiercely down the sidewalk*
Jelena: Exactly my point! Unlike Montana Cox you have a fierce walk!
Montana: I AM MONTANA!
Jelena: You really want to prove that you're Montana Cox?
Montana: YES!
Jelena: Ok I'll pay for you to fly out to America to do a photoshoot.
Montana: And how will that prove that I'm Montana?
Jelena: Well Montana actually knows how to model so if you show a hint of talent I'll believe you.
Montana: Alright and after that I get 5000 bucks right?
Jelena: *whispers* Only if you get in?
Montana: What?
Jelena: Oh nothing...

WEEK 3 DISCUSSION

Gisele: Hello Lana and Mark. This week we had our third week of scouting and we received ten girls to look at and decide whether or not they should receive the opportunity to enter the competition. Let's start off with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Lana: I think that she's absolutely gorgeous, but I see her more in a commercial market.
Mark: I agree, I don't see the high fashion edge that I've seen in the past weeks. It's hard to see her really competing with some of the other girls that we already accepted.
Gisele: I see where you are going with the commercial thing, but I think she could be very successful in that market. She'd make so much money.
Lana: But I think we need a girl that's more than just a blonde bombshell who will work commercially. I want an all around superstar.
Gisele: I think that there is more than meets the eye. Anyways, let's move on to Monika Jagaciak, or as she likes to be called, Jac.

Mark: Jac has something special. That face. Oh my god. It's amazing.
Gisele: I agree. She has a killer body and an amazing face. I wish she was 5'10 instead of 5'9, but since she just turned 18, she's bound to grow.
Lana: I see so much high fashion potential in this girl that it's ridiculous. Dressing her for her shoot was amazing because she fit all the clothes so well and she really knows how to work in front of the camera.
Gisele: I think that it's a consensus that she's great so let's move on to Ines Crnokrak.

Mark: I really like her face. At first glance, it's typically pretty, but there is something so unique about it.
Lana: She looks like a bird, but that's what makes her different. I like her.
Gisele: I think she's beautiful, but I don't completely love her. I can't put my finger on what it is, but I just don't see it.
Mark: I agree. I do love her face, but I'm not loving her as a model.
Gisele: Let's move on to Barbara Palvin.

Gisele: I think that she's really pretty. That's not necessarily a compliment though.
Mark: Why not?
Gisele: Well, I think she looks like a pretty teenager. I don't see a high fashion model.
Lana: That face is gorgeous though. How could you deny her?
Gisele: Well if we were picking everyone with a gorgeous face, we'd have picked everyone so far.
Mark: She's only 5'7 too. Carmen said that height is just a number, not a requirement which is kind of false. You basically have to be a MINIMUM 5'8, and even that's pushing it. You can say "Oh, well Kate Moss was only 5'7," but Kate Moss is a rarity. She's an absolutely amazing model and I don't see that in Barbara.
Gisele: Let's move on to Ioanna Papagianni.

Mark: I think she's very pretty, but not too pretty. There's something interesting about her.
Gisele: I agree. I'm intrigued by her look.
Lana: I mean, I agree, but I feel like she's lacking. She didn't blow me away like some of the other girls this week.
Gisele: I agree, but I think that there is something there. Let's move on to Alessandra Ambrosio.

Lana: I really like this girl. That face is amazing.
Gisele: And she's Brazilian!
Mark: I do think she's gorgeous and she has the height to be successful, but I'm not loving her proportions. She has a very long torso and short legs. It's not going to look right in clothes.
Lana: I see where you're coming from... That could be an issue.
Gisele: Shut up! She's Brazilian. Do not speak about my people that way! Let's move on to Daniela.

Mark: The only issue I have with this girl is that she's a little curvy. Other than that, she's amazingly stunning.
Lana: I feel like she's a pretty girl that can go edgy. The casting photo showed a lot of promise.
Gisele: I like that she's curvy. It shows real women that they can be beautiful. And she's not too curvy that it would turn high fashion clients away from her.
Lana: I agree. I like her a lot.
Gisele: Let's move on to Hanaa Ben Abdesslem.

Lana: She's different, but I like her. I love the androgyny, but she is still feminine enough to still look like a girl.
Gisele: I agree. I think she has so much potential to be a star.
Mark: I see potential, but I'm not sure that she's better than some of the girls that we've seen this week. I'd put her in the competition, but I think there might be 4 stronger girls.
Gisele: Well, we'll just have to wait and see. Let's move on to Jane Randall.

Gisele: She was here last cycle and it was so hard to let her go. I feel like this is our second chance at someone amazing.
Lana: I still love her. I'm just wondering why she's not with IMG anymore.
Mark: She said that they weren't even trying to get her work and she had to find the work on her own.
Lana: Oh, well we can fix that for her.
Gisele: Let's move onto our final girl, Montana.

Lana: That girl is a stylists dream. She has the most insane body ever.
Mark: I think she's a stunner. I really love how she looks in clothes and I see tons of potential.
Gisele: My only worry is that she might be too common. I love her look, but I think she might have a hard time standing out.
Lana: I disagree.
Mark: So do I.
Gisele: Well, that's the last of the girls, let's make a decision.

WEEK 3 DECISION

Gisele: Hello ladies. It's been a long week as we discussed who should make it into the competition. Again, it was a difficult decision. We easily narrowed it down to six, but that's when it got extremely difficult to choose just four. In the end we came to a decision and that decision is in the next room over, through those doors. Story: I was on a flight back to the US when I happened upon Han. I had fallen asleep on the flight, and when I awoke, she was right in front of me though I thought I was still dreaming. Since I was so groggy, this was a rather shorter encounter than usual, but here's how it went...

ChaCha: *wakes up after napping in the plane* *looks up* *sees Han walks by* Hey, you!
Han: *turns around* Me?
ChaCha: Yeah, you! Are you a model?
Han: No...
ChaCha: Do you want to be?
Han: Well, yeah, who doesn't?
ChaCha: Good. You've just been scouted for the competition "Scouted."
Han: Are you serious?!
ChaCha: Yes, I am, and I am completely legit too, I'm just too tired to make a big deal out of it. *pulls out a business card and writes some extra info on it* Here, take my card, look me up if you don't believe me. Either way though, I better be seeing you in the competition.
Han: *takes the card* Wow, thanks!
ChaCha: Mhmmm. *falls back asleep*

Story: I was vacationing in Jamaica when I happened to discover Shena on the beach. I was just sunbathing on a beautiful beach when our paths crossed, and the story goes like this...

ChaCha: *sunbathing and relaxing when a volleyball bounces over and sprays sand in her face* What they hell?!
Shena: *runs over* Oh no, I'm so sorry! I swear I didn't mean to disturb you, I just have a pretty powerful spike and you are awfully close to the volleyball net.
ChaCha: *wiping sand of herself and out of her eyes* Well, I don't feel like moving, so try to aim better next time.
Shena: Will do, so sorry again! Ummm...so can I have my ball back?
ChaCha: Oh, here you g... *looks up at Shena for the first time* How tall are you?
Shena: Um what? Oh, I'm 5'11", why?
ChaCha: Are you currently employed and/or do you have any big obligations here?
Shena: Well, no, not really, I just graduated from high school.
ChaCha: Perfect!
Shena: Ummm...okay...so, about that ball...?
ChaCha: Let's make a deal. I'll give you your ball back if you consider a proposal. How about instead of college, you come to New York for a chance to become a model on the show "Scouted"?
Shena: Oh wow, really?! But, my parents really want me to go to college, and I do too...
ChaCha; College will always be there waiting for you, but you are only young once and this could be your only opportunity.
Shena: *thinks for a second* You know what, I think I will take you up on that! I'll have to talk with my parents first, but count me in!

WEEK 4 DISCUSSION

Gisele: Lana, Mark. Welcome to our last week of scouting. This week the fewest girls were scouted. Let's start the discussion off with Meghan Collison.

Lana: I think she looks like a less hard core Kat Von D and I mean that in the best connotation.
Mark: I agree, I really like this girl. The jet black hair with the pale skin is just amazing.
Gisele: I think she's stunning as well. During the shoot we had with her to get that full body shot, she worked it out. She really has all it takes to be a successful model.
Lana: I do think her look is very strong so she might struggle commercially.
Mark: I think I'd rather have a girl who is high fashion, but not commercial as opposed to a commercial girl who is not high fashion though.
Gisele: Alright, let's move on to Anna Selezneva.

Mark: This girl is a stunner. No doubt about it.
Lana: Her cheekbones are wearing me out! Her body is insane and I think we'd be crazy not to cast her.
Gisele: I see tons of potential with this girl, but I wasn't blown away by her in the photoshoot we had with her. Her shot turned out nice, but I didn't see anything special.
Mark: Oh yeah, legs a mile long and cheekbones that could cut a bitch aren't special or anything...
Gisele: *rolls her eyes* Let's move on to Sigrid Agren.

Mark: I really just see a pretty girl with her.
Lana: I think you're mistaken. I really like her look. She's giving me some 80s supermodel vibes, but with a modern twist.
Gisele: I feel like she could go either way. I can see her working high fashion, but also working commercially. She could do it all.
Mark: I agree, but I feel like she's going to do either or, not both.
Gisele: And I see her doing both. Let's move on to Frida Gustavsson.

Gisele: I love her height, but that's about it.
Lana: I agree. She has the height which is amazing, but as a whole, I'm not loving her body and her face just seems kind of plain to me.
Mark: I love this girl. She has the potential to be amazing.
Gisele: See, Mark, I feel like you only like her because of her height.
Mark: I mean, yeah, but the height is where it starts. She could be shaped into something amazing.
Gisele: Let's move on to Sophie Vlaming.

Lana: Her name is kinda fierce.
Gisele: My reactions exactly. I like her.
Mark: She's too fucking short! You don't like Frida, but you like her.
Gisele: Yup.
Mark: 5'8 doesn't cut it unless you're exceptional and I don't think she is.
Gisele: That face is stunning though and I think she is exceptional.
Lana: I agree. She's young too so she'll grow.
Mark: *rolls his eyes*
Gisele: While Mark sits here and sulks, let's move on to Veranika Antsipava.

Lana: I'm not feeling it.
Mark: Me either.
Gisele: Well, that makes three of us. Let's just move on to Han.

Mark: There aren't that many Asian girls in this market, but the one's that are, are all amazing. I'm not sure she'd be able to compete with girls like Liu from last cycle.
Gisele: I agree, but there is something unique about her that I like.
Lana: I like her, but on set at the photoshoot, it wasn't anything special. I feel like we'd need to see more from her, but I don't know if we should give up that spot on hopes.
Gisele: I see what you mean. Let's move on to our last girl then, Shena Moulton.

Lana: I really love her body. It's great. I can't necessarily say that about her face.
Gisele: See, I love her face. All of her features are unique and stunning, but I don't think she knows how to work her face.
Mark: But she looks amazing in clothes. She has a great body.
Gisele: Well, that was the last girl. Let's see who will round out the rest of the cast.

There are eight of you here, so that means that half of you will make it in, while the other half will be sent home.
