Bianca
Photo: I'm feeling a little diappointed, Bianca. Your face looks really strong, almost like a man and the whole pose is so awkward. The shoulders, the arms, and the way your body is positioned does not work at all. 5.5/10
Motion Editorial: Your motion editorial kind of bored me. Most of the time, you were just standing in one spot posing, which kind of confuses me. You looked good, but it looked like you were doing a photoshoot, not a motion editorial.
Diandra
Photo: Flawless, end of comment. 10/10
Motion Editorial (second): Both editorials bored me. In both of them, there was a lack of movement and energy from you. I chose the second one because at least there you stood out.
Gertrud
Photo: Girl, WORK! This is actually kind of scary, but in a good way. Your gaze is strong, but soft at the same time. The light is hitting your face beautifully, and I just think it is one of your strongest shots to date. 10/10
Motion Editorial: It was definitely very interesting, but at times, it did feel a little boring because it was kind of the same thing. I wish maybe you had just given a little bit more in terms of posing and variety.

Photo: I had really high expectations this week, and your photo doesn't really meet those. It's not bad, but you have taken much stronger photos in the past, and that's all I really have to say. 7/10
Motion Editorial: I found your motion editorial very engaging and beautiful to watch, but I feel that the reason it was so strong was because of the interesting angles and editing, not because of what you were bringing. I wished maybe you pushed it more.

Photo: Gorgeous? Yes. But I have seen this before, more than once actually. I want to remind you that this is a beautiful, flawless photo, but the fact that you have produced a few photos just like this takes away the wow factor. 7/10
Motion Editorial: Like Bianca, it looked more like a photoshoot then a motion editorial. HOWEVER, you moved around and gave a wide variety of poses which is the main reason it stands out over Bianca's photo. (Motion editorial score withheld, also worth 10 points) |

Eliminations
Karlie-Welcome ladies to your second elimination ceremony here in Morocco. The five of you are competing for a 2-year contract with IMG Models, a cover and four page spread in Vogue Paris, an international ad campaign for Prada, and a $250,000 contract with Covergirl Cosmetics. This week, you ladies had to do a photoshoot in which you had one frame to impress me, and you had to do a motion editorial. The first name that I am going to call is the girl who did the best overall this week....

You stand before me for two things: Losing your fire, and lack of versatility; two very damaging things to a model's career. Diandra, you stand before me because of your Motion Editorial. It was pretty bad. Bianca, you stand before me because of how poorly you did this week. I feel like your performance is becoming very inconsistent. Now it's down to Bianca and Diandra. This was a very, very close race between the two of you. So, I went through each of your portfolio's and ranked each photo out of five. And the girl who overall had the highest score from that is the girl who will be joining Lindsey and Gertrud in the finale. The girl who is staying is.....
Diandra. In the end, your score is higher AND your portfolio is stronger than Bianca's. So you definitely deserve to make it to the final week. Congratulations.

Karlie MailCongratulations final 3! This is it! After this week, one of you will become a supermodel. But in order to determine who that is, I have some very important tasks for you to complete: First, is your ad for Covergirl. You can either take the more edgy route, or you can be commercial and friendly. But, you need to make sure that your shot sells the make-up, and that if you take the edgy route, that you still have commercial appeal. This will be worth 20 points. Second, is your ad for Prada. This photo should be very high-fashion and editorial, and you can choose to either sell clothing, accessories, or their perfume. But no matter what you sell, you need to make sure it fits the client. This will be worth 20 points. Third, is your cover and four page spread in Vogue Paris. You need to have a title/theme for you spread. The cover and spread need to be cohesive, and of course, high-fashion. It can be more on the elegant side, or it can be more on the edgy side. This will be worth 50 points. Then, the three of you will be walking in a fashion show for Vivienne Westwood. You will have TWO passes on the runway, and in each walk, I want to see you give a lot of strength, a lot of power, and a lot of attitude. Each pass is worth 10 points, making it twenty points in all. These four tasks are worth 110 points all together. So just because you have done well in the past, if you mess up this week, it can take away the title from you. So give it your all, and make me proud! (Me: I'm going to be gone from tomorrow afternoon to Wednesday afternoon, so there is no hurry to post. There is no deadline because there is a lot to do. You may also submit more than one spread for the Vogue Paris task.) |

Who will it be? Will it be Lindsey? The young girl, with the exotic look? She blew me away during casting week, and continued to take amazing photos that were both high-fashion and commercial. Although she let her performance slip a few times, she still managed to prove that she deserved to make it to the final week. Will this unique beauty be able to push herself hard enough in order to walk away from this competition a Supermodel?  Or will it be Diandra? The most unique looking girl in SFS history? This albino beauty walked into casting week and was one of the few girls wit a perfect score. Her perfect height and unique features helped her to take amazing pictures. But the past two weeks, she has been at the bottom of the pack. Will Diandra be able to show us her spark again and prove she has what it takes to win it all?  Or is it going to be Gertrud? The vintage looking girl who just last week, earned the number one spot in the top five photos? This girl proved she was more than just a pretty face, taking fabulous photos of all kinds. With a strong portfolio and the most points so far, the other girls recognized she is a threat. She has proven that she is more than ordinary, but will she be able to prove to me that she is extraordinary? |
