Eliminations
Karlie-Welcome ladies. The seven of you are competing for a 2-year contract with IMG Models, a cover and four page spread in Vogue Paris, an international ad campaign for Prada, and a $250,000 contract with Covergirl. This week, you ladies had a photoshoot where you had to work for the client, Above the Influence. Only one of you will be appearing in the ad, BUT, six of you will be going overseas after judging to....

Karlie MailHello final 6! I hope you ladies are enjoying Morocco and have begun to absorb the culture, because this week is going to be your first Moroccan photoshoot. We will be going out in the middle of the desert, and you ladies will be doing a photoshoot there. What I want is a lot of editorial posing, and very strong posing. It should be very intense-looking, but don't make it way too over-the-top. Good luck ladies! (Me: This is like the photoshoot from cycle 7 of AusNTM, the deadline is tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. PST) |

CritiquesBianca: Now, there is the Bianca I know and love! This is gorgeous. The intensity in your face is crazy amazing, and your skin is FLAWLESS! I can't find a single flaw, well done! 10/10 Diandra: This is a nice photo, but compared to the other girls, it doesn't pop. There isn't anything wrong with the photo, it's just that it doesn't give me any excitement when I look at it. 8/10 Gertrud: This is beautiful. You look very tall, and the intensity in your face is great. My only problem is that your arms and the way they are positioned looks a tad bit awkward. 9/10 Lindsey: Wow, that doesn't even look like you! The control you have here is amazing. You look so tall and your body just looks great. This tells a story, which is really what makes this so impressive. 10/10 Saskia: Yes this is gorgeous, but I feel like I have seen this look before, in fact, I kept thinking that when looking at your whole film. I just wished maybe you had changed it up this week and gave me something unexpected. 8.5/10 Viktoriya: I love the face, but something about the body is off. I think it's that your feet are missing as well as the fact that you look rather short. It's a good photo, but you could work on your angles. 8.5/10 |

Viktoriya! I want to see you start pushing it, because I feel like you are falling into the background.
Will Saskia and Diandra please step forward? Saskia, the reason you stand before me is not because your picture is bad. The reason you stand before me is because of your versatility. I looked back at your entire portfolio, and I just haven't seen you change up your look. Diandra, you have consistently taken good photos throughout the competition. But, that's the problem. You have taken GOOD photos, but not necessarily amazing pictures. So who stays?
Diandra, I want you to prove yourself next week. Congratulations!

Karlie MailHello final 5! This is going to be a very busy week because you have two tasks. First, is a one-frame photoshoot all about impressing me. You may not re-use any photos used during the competition and the photo really needs to pop. Second, is going to be a first in SFS history; a motion editorial. You need to give a title to your editorial, and it should be high-fashion (although it is not required). I want to see movement, and a story being told. Good luck! (Me: For the motion editorial, you may just post a youtube video on here, or you can just post a gif. If your model doesn't have a motion editorial, find something as close to it as possible. The deadline is tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. PST) |
