Hilary: *Confessional* I am so proud of my girls this week. I feel like both of them have taken the critiques that they have been given and put them towards their shoots this week. Both of them crushed it. Vlada's shot is a little more edgy than what she has done in the past. I chose the shot because I wanted to mute the one-look-wonder comments and I'm so proud of her for proving Maryna and Liya wrong in that aspect. Aymeline has gotten the comment that she either has an amazing face and a lackluster pose or an amazing pose and a dead face, but her shot this week is SICK. She took that comment and gave angles in the pose and gave her signature fierce stare. I feel like there is a really good chance that We could win this week and I really hope that we do because it would suck to lose one of these girls right before the finale. If we don't win, I'm just praying that it's Maryna because then I could pitch the "Joan is going to win if she's in the final" card and hope that it works.

Judging
Team Maryna
Liya: Kendra, I think you are the prettiest girl in this competition and that shows in this photo. You look so beautiful and dreamy, and I love the way you are cradling the perfume bottle, it really sells the product. I do think your expression could use more emotion or energy though, and overall I also think this is a little safe and easy which is a route you tend to take. Natasha, on the other hand, did not play it safe at all and I really appreciate that. I love the extreme arch and unique positioning of this shot, it's risky but works very well to sell the shoes, and overall it shows you listened to your critique last week of being too rigid. I think this fits your brand quite well and I also think it's my favorite shot of you to date, though I have two minor nitpicky details to include which are the missing arm and that you are giving yet another sensual, sultry expression, but overall your shot is definitely my favorite this week.
Hilary: Kendra, I feel like with the caliber of shots this week, your's just wasn't as powerful or memorable. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful photograph, but to me, it was almost expected from you. It's very young and girly and I was really hoping that you'd surprise me with something brilliant. I honestly think that you rested on what you've been blessed with which is just gorgeous genetics. Natasha, this is easily your best shot to date. It's AMAZING. The pose is so dramatic, so sexy, so Gucci. Your body just looks amazing. Those legs are just a dream and what is even more impressive is that while you're completely contorted, you still managed to keep a calm expression facially. Your bone structure looks amazing and you don't look strained at all. It's just perfect.
Team Liya
Maryna: I have to say there is something I just really love about this shot. The body is so sickening, its effortless and the contrast with Joan in red and the men in black it is just striking. I love the straight black hair and gloomy expression, Mariacarla Boscono anyone? I mean the obvious negative is the lack of neck, which could have easily been remedied by a slight tilt of your chin but it doesnt stop this from being a really strong photo though.
Hilary: Joan, I feel like it fits the brand to the tee which is amazing, but the shot isn't without it's flaws. I really like the pose and how you stand out in the group, but you lost your neck and for some reason, it's really really distracting me this week. It just looks like a head on shoulders. Also, I wish you tilted your head up just ever so slightly because the angle on the eyes makes it look like I'm seeing mostly whites of the eyes. I loved the crossed legs and how you interacted with the other models, however.
Team Hilary
Maryna: I'm going to start with Vlada because I have more to say about her photo. First off I think its beautiful, its such a lovely photo and I think if you had been here last cycle when we shot for Swarovski you would have rocked that shoot. But I think this is a piss poor attempt at changing your expression, its like you tried to do something edgy but just look at the shot, there's wind in the hair, a heavenly lavender backround and this soft sensual expression. Its the same ethereal/angelic type of photo we see from you only difference is your eyes are closed. Moving on to Aymeline, girl you look great. I love this whole power woman vibe I get from it, like a badass business executive. I think its very Armani. It doesn't wow me though, I think the difference between a good ad and a great ad is that wow factor, its that difference that makes a photo iconic. And while this is no doubt a great shot it doesn't go into strong and amazing territory for me.
Liya: Aymeline, I have to commend you this week for listening and improving; I have mentioned in the past that you rarely match up a strong face and pose, but this week both are quite good. Facially you look great, your expression is quite intense and your bone structure is so strong, and you pull off androgyny quite well. I also think your pose is good, it's casual in a good way and your legs look great. My one complaint is that your eyes look a bit manic and you just kinda seem like you need to breathe, but overall it's a strong performance. Vlada, I like your shot as well, but I also think it's a bit safe and soft. I do think you fit your brand to a T and you sell the accessories very well, and overall you look quite ethereal and beautiful. I am pretty torn about the eyes though; on the one hand I like the natural, in-the-moment feel that it brings, but on the other hand I don't like the droopiness. And once again, this look does not fall far from your comfort zone at all.

Liya: *hugs Joan while waiting for Hilary to send her choice* Joan, I want you to know that no matter what happens in the elimination room, I am so very proud of you. When the shoot this week was announced, I thought in my head "Please, please choose Givenchy!" and you seemed to have caught my brainwave! And then the shot you produced was stellar as well, so I could not have asked for any more from you this week. I don't think that you deserve to go into the elimination room, but I have high hopes that I'll see you on the other side so good luck in there! *hugs her again*

Hilary: *joins her girls and all three of then are in tears* This sucks ladies. I really don't want to send either of you into elimination because I think you're both so strong. I honestly don't know who to send in. Do I send Vlada, the girl who has probably been one of the most consistent girls here and probably has the scores to contend for the title? Or do I send Aymeline, the girl who was easily one of the best this week. I had to look at your weaknesses. Aymeline, yours is definitely your inconsistency. One week you're amazing and the next you're not so great. Then we have Vlada who is super consistent, but maybe too consistent especially expression wise. It seems like you're not listening to the critiques we are giving because we see the same expression week after week. And Vlada, that's why you are heading into the elimination room.

*Maryna looks through each of the portfolio's, her usually happy demeanor looking sad*
Maryna: Hello ladies. Its always hard being here, yes my team has won but now I have to pick between two really strong girls to go home.
Joan, it makes me sad to see you here. I thought you were the 2nd best out of everyone this week, if Natasha hadn't performed the way she did my team would probably be in this position instead.
Vlada, I love your look. I think you are so special. You were such a standout at first but as the week have went on you have become one note. And its not just me that has been noticing it. And this week with the shoot it was like we gave free reign to do what you wanted and you didn't take advantage of that.
This is a really tough decision.
Joan. You have supported your team and kept them from falling apart since the beginning of the competition. You have worked so hard and more than earned your spot. Congratulations.
Vlada, *hugs her* I think all of the judges are sad to see you go. I think we can all agree that you are so special and with some simple practice you can be a star in the industry. I am sorry but you will not be The Face.

*Maryna walks back into the loft, ignores the coaches and runs to her girls*
Maryna: OH MY GAWWWWWWD. I am so freakin' proud of you guys! Natasha, wow! I was so shocked. You slayed everyone this week. I am so impressed. Kendra, I thought you did good but I agree it was safe. I have so much faith in you and if you want a chance to win this finale you can't play it safe, you have to pull out all the stops okay? *Hugs both her girls tightly*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*The girls are joined by Maryna, Hilary and Liya as they sit patiently at the loft*
Liya: Well hello ladies! As you know this is the point of the competition where it's no longer about teams.
Hilary: You girls have to look out for yourselfs now. This is the finale and only one of you is going to win.
Maryna: So lets begin! As you girls know you will be shooting your ad campaign for Ulta Cosmetics. Theyre ads aim to please everyone. It should have a little glamour, a little commercial, etc. You wanna balance that fine line between commercial and glamour.
Liya: We also have a NEW prize. The winner of this competition will get a cover in American Vogue. *The girls scream* And you will be shooting those covers TODAY! Now what seperates American Vogue from the rest is that they aren't super edgy and high fashion like some of the others, their style is slightly more simple, classic and beautiful.
Hilary: After that the final THREE will be walking in a runway show we have prepared. This walk is about showing confidence, power, showing us why you deserve to win this competition. You will be sending us a VIDEO for this task.
*So you guys can submit multiple options for the Ulta and Vogue task, but for the runway you can only submit ONE video. If there are multiple walks in the video then single out which one it is.

Hilary: *waiting for the decision to be made, she is holding hands with Aymeline hoping for Vlada to come back* *Maryna walks through the door followed by Joan and immediately breaks down* Fuck. *hugs Aymeline* You really need to work your ass off this week, Aymeline.
*Confessional* I think losing Vlada this week was all my fault. When I saw the client she chose, I knew that the critiques about not changing it up were going to come and that would be the reason why we lost this week. I should have said something and forced her to choose a different client. I just wasn't a good coach this week and I totally regret not saying anything.
*Talking to Aymeline before the first shoot* Take everything we have ever said to you and use it this week because I really believe in you. That's why you're still here. Some of the clients may not be right up your alley, but prove Maryna and Liya wrong and make them regret keeping you in the competition. You can do this, Aymeline. I know you can. *hugs her* Go work it.

Hilary: *Confessional* I'm really not sure who is going to get to the final three. I feel like Joan has a spot just because she's probably the frontrunner going into this week, but I don't think she was super amazing this week like she has been in the past. I'm nervous for Aymeline because while her Ulta shot was probably the best shot in the category, they are going to rip her apart for not being commercial enough and that's going to bring her down. They are going to be so distracted with that aspect that they aren't going to even care that she looks absolutely stunning which stinks. I do think she made up for it in the Vogue shoot because she softened up and fit American Vogue sooo well. I just hope that she gets into the finale because she's going to slay in the runway.
