(Kirsten's reaction):  (continue)This was a tough decision for me because both girls have turn in some amazing photos. This is another reason I asked for competitor opinion this week. How do I pick between two of my favorites to go home?
Kirsten! I fell so in love with this photo, I didn't really pay attention to the shoes in the shadow until after the photo was selected for a shoe ad.
  *confessional* Haters alert! This is really sad! I did not expect to be in the bottom two, I thought i could get an high call out this week. Anne says that she loves my photo so there's a possibility that the COO of the other girls made me in the bottom. Maybe they are trying to pull me down because i've been a consistent contestant. In our task of judging the other contestant, I honestly put Georgina and Kaya on my top 2 this week. They are the best this week in my opinion. I am still confident because i know i didnt deserves to be in bottom and i cant get over about mischa calling her name first after me. But whatever, I'll prove this week that i'm a strong contestant. I was hoping that Anne will appreciate my performance. I know i can do this because i know some of them are celebriting beause of my bottom two appearance. Watch out girls. Show must go on. Bring it! Phoebe: *in confessional* Finally, I was called second! It's not as great as a first call-out obviously, but it is still the highest I have been called and it's such a very gratifying feeling. I am beginning to hope that I am right about my improvement and redemption arc, and perhaps if I try hard enough I can pull out a win after all! Georgina I love the expression here, Georgina. You shine behind the crazy feather hat thing. I love your mouth especially here, because you are selling that lipstick. Kaya You really stripped down this week, Kaya, and your film was beautiful. Beauty shots can be all sorts of crazy, or they can be all sorts of simple. The simplicity of this shot actually forces the viewer to notice exactly how beautiful you really, truly are. Great job. Kirsten Kristen, you had a great roll of film this week. I had a hard time choosing between this photo and the photo with the black feathers. Both of them were astoundingly awesome. I picked this photo because it is just art. I love the confident smirk and the glint in the eyes. I’m a bit bummed over the fact that your two best shots were not “beauty shots” (shoulders up). Mischa Mischa this hardly looks like you! I love the mouth position. It’s always risky to cover up your face, but there is so much intensity and focus in the one eye. Your film was varied. Last week wasn’t your best week, but you’re focused this week. Pheobe This is very good, Pheobe. I like the focused look in your eye, and the relaxed position of the mouth. Sometimes focused eyes means tense lips, but you have avoided that nicely.

Eliminations: This week made me really happy and really sad. Really happy because there were some great shots. Really sad because we are down to the strongest competitors, and it's hard to send strong models home. Mischa! Keep experimenting with different looks! You're gorgeous and you know it. Don't be afraid to do different, because it works. Kaya! Stripped down or glammed up, you look amazing. Georgina! Crazy hat, and my focus is strictly on you. Can Kirsten and Pheobe step forward? Both of you had very strong shots this week. Kirsten, you stand before me because I asked for a beauty shot, which tends to be from the shoulders up. Pheobe, you stand before me because although your photo is beautiful, it didn't stand out to me the way Mischa, Kaya, and Georgina did. So who stays? flips photoKirsten! There is no denying that this shot is amazing. It probably would've been a first call out had it been shoulders up. But this is your second week in the bottom two. Are you resting on your previous greatness? Pheobe, last week was your best week ever. This week was also amazingly strong. The other girls left have all had multiple first call outs, and that was how I made my decision. |

Georgina This is a lovely photo. I imagine the scent you’re selling here is very bright, clean, and citrusy. Your smile is radiant, and your limbs so long. I love the white on white, it creates for a timeless effect. I wish there was a longer neck. Kaya This is adorable Kaya. I don’t mean it in a condescending way either. You just look very sweet, innocent and young here. I love the movement in the hair and the sweet, knowing smirk on your face. Kirsten Well, well, look who is back full force. Gorgeous Kristen. Wonderful work. No negatives. Mischa Beautiful. I believe that you are not resting on “one look” and your pretty. You’re trying different angles and faces. Once again, this hardly looks like you, in fact I see some Blake Lively (does anyone else see that?) Those arms are effortless.

eliminations: This is the cruelest cut. Not just because it's the last cut before the finale, but because all four of you have been the top of this pack. Each of you have multiple first call outs. In fact, has anyone but one of you four had a first call out? I don't think so. At any rate, the first woman in the finale is... Mischa! Was there ever a doubt you'd be in the finale? The next name I'm going to call is... KIRSTEN! Again, was there ever a doubt you'd be in the finale? Cause I never questioned it. Can Kaya and Georgina please step forward? This was such a tough call for me. Kaya , you've been one of my favorite faces since casting. You astounded me at the first photo shoot, and have been relentless since then. Georgina, you I wasn't sure how far you would make it. But you proved yourself week after week, and amazed me with so many of your creative poses. So who joins Mischa and Kirsten in the finale? Flips PhotoKaya! Geogrina, this one hurts me. I'm so sorry to see you go. |
