Challenge Winner
Karlie-Hello ladies! This week, you had a challenge where you had to do a mock runway show for Alexander Wang. This was worth five points, and the scores will not be revealed to you. During your runway show, you had to look both laid-back and edgy in your walk, and it came down to two girls; Anya and Arizona. You both did a great job, and for one of you, you will earn an extra point towards your overall score which is a huge deal. The girl who in the end did the best is.....

Critiques
Allison: This is very beautiful. It looks as though you are un-aware of the camera, but you actually are and worked it. The angle of your face is gorgeous, but I could have used a bit more neck. 9.5/10 Anna: This photo is absolutely incredible. It's mysterious, it has a secret to it which is just awesome. 10/10 Anya: Compared to how strongly you did during the runway challenge, this is a disappointment. You pose is boring and your face looks...really bad. It's not a good angle on you and I know you can do so much better than this. 5/10 Arizona: Like Fatima, I wish that you had a little bit more twinkle in your eyes. Your expression is a bit vacant, although I like how you are subtley working your angles. 8/10 Caroline: This photo is gorgeous! You are being so simple, but your beauty shines through so brightly! Your neck looks so long and I like the control you have in your face. 10/10 Daniela: This is really beautiful, and my favorite part is how you are also being reflected in the mirror. Your face looks really good and I like how you kept it soft, but it is still edgy. 10/10 Danni: It's a good photo, am I crazy about it? No. Your bone structure looks great, but your eyes look a little blank. 7/10 Fatima: If there was a little bit more of a twinkle in your eyes, this would have been perfect. It looks a little sleepy, but I love how it shows off your bone structure and how lovely your skin is. 8.5/10 Gemma: This is really boring. You aren't doing anything special with your pose, and your face is really dead. I wish you had brought more life to this shoot, Gemma. 6/10 Jourdan: Your bone structure looks amazing, but this is the second photo in two weeks that your eyes have been dead-looking. I really am wondering if you can push it and give some edge in those eyes of yours. 8/10 Karmen: I was disappointed with your film, Karmen. It was really bad what you were doing with your expressions, it just did not work. This photo was definitely the best in your film, but it is still not amazing. 7/10 Kelsey: There wasn't really anything in your film that stood out, it was pretty average. This shot definitely shows off your gorgeous face, but your expression is bland. 7/10 Lisa: One thing that I notice is that your jaw looks unusually large. So if you had tilted your head down a bit, it would have hidden that flaw and made you look a bit more edgy. But your eyes are definitely gorgeous. 8/10 Montana: The only flaw I see with this is your left eye. It looks rather sleepy, but your right eye is perfect. Your face is gorgeous and I like how your hair is slightly messy and how you are looking at a downwards angle. 8/10 |

Eliminations
Karlie-Welcome ladies to your first elimination ceremony. The fourteen of you are competing for a 2-year contract with IMG Models, a cover and four page spread in Vogue Paris, an international ad campaign for Marc Jacobs, a paid-for penthouse in Los Angeles, and a $250,000 contract with Covergirl Cosmetics. This week, you ladies had a runway challenge, and backstage when you were getting ready, you also had a photoshoot capturing backstage moments. The first name that I am going to call is.....

Will Gemma and Anya please step forward? Gemma, you have a very beautiful face, and you have proven that you can take a great photo when you are stylized and edgy. My concern is that you don't know how to shine in a photo while looking natural. Anya, you were one of the best during the runway challenge and you did very well during casting week. But this week, your photo was terrible. Was it a fluke?

 Karlie MailHello final 13! This week, you will be doing a rather interesting photoshoot which is focused on posing. You need to give me a lot of shapes and drama this week, but the twist is that we will be editing you so it is all one color, so your facial expression cannot be seen. It is really about the pose this week, and I want to see some serious risks being taken. Good luck ladies! |
