Eliminations
Karlie-Welcome ladies to your final elimination ceremony. The four of you are competing for a 2-year contract with IMG Models, a cover and four page spread in Vogue Paris, an international ad campaign for Marc Jacobs, a paid-for penthouse in Los Angeles, and a $250,000 contract with Covergirl Cosmetics. This week, you ladies had to impress me to the best of your abilities with one frame. One thing that I did not tell you is that I will not be revealing to you what you scored for your photo. The girl who impressed me the most this week was.....
Montana! Hopefully you can keep up the great results in the finale!
Daniela! A very close second, congratulations!
Will Fatima and Caroline please step forward? Fatima, you have so much potential. I look at you and think of you as definitely the most high-fashion girl here. Caroline, you currently hold the number one spot in the top five photos. You are a sexy girl, but you can also be high-fashion which is a very big plus. But only one of you can make it to the finale. So who is that?
Fatima, you were only there because someone had to be. But next week, I want you to prove to me that you are more then just a photo model, but that you can be strong in all aspects of modeling. Congratulations!
Caroline, it's time for you to go.

Karlie MailCongratulations final three! I am so proud of each and every one of you for making it this far. You are all so different, but your individuality got you to the finale. This is going to be a very busy week, but I know that you all will be able to do quite well. You have four tasks that you need to complete, and here is a list of what they are: 1.Your Covergirl print ad. You can either go the more commercial, friendly route, or you can be a little bit more on the edgy side. Either way, it needs to be a beauty shot, and the most important thing is to let the makeup stand out. 2.Your ad for Marc Jacobs. His ads are very sophisticated, but also sometimes have a quirkiness about them. You can sell clothing, accessories or one of his perfumes. 3.Your cover and four page spread of Vogue Paris. With this, you can be either very strong and edgy, or you can keep it more elegant and graceful. Either way, it needs to be high-fashion, it needs to have a theme, and it needs to be cohesive. 4.Finally, you will be walking in a real, live fashion show for the designer, Issey Miyake. You will each have ONE pass on the runway, and in that pass, you need to be very strong, edgy, but have a slight elegance as well. These four tasks will be worth a total of 110 points. No matter how well you have done during the competition, if you bomb this week, it can take away your chances of winning. I expect strong results, and I want to wish each of you the best of luck. (Me: I'm going out of town [LAS VEGAS BABY!] until thursday afternoon, so the deadline is Thursday at 2:00 p.m. PST)

Who will it be?Cycle three has been a cycle unlike any other. With surprising twists and turns, these girls have been in for a wild ride. Fifteen girls competed this cycle, but only three have made it to the finale, but only one will end the Search for a Supermodel. She will be signed with IMG Models, appear on the cover and inside Parisian Vogue, appear in an international ad campaign for Marc Jacobs, have a gorgeous penthouse in Los Angeles, and will walk away with a $250,000 contract with Covergirl Cosmetics. Will it be Montana? The girl who walked in with the least amount of modeling experience, and with the weakest start? She may've started out performing weakly, but she began to grow and quickly gain speed, and rose to the top of the pack and proved that she was indeed a threat. Will Montana be able to keep up her performance during the finale? Or will it be Fatima? The high-fashion girl from Somalia, who took amazing photos from week one. Fatima proved she was more then a high-fashion girl, when she won top photo for the Seventeen Magazine challenge. But I constantly wondered if Fatima's talent could be carried outside of a photo. Will Fatima be able to prove that she is a strong model outside of photos? Or will it be Daniela? The latina beauty who takes elegant, regal photos. In the beginning, she coasted along in the middle, and then suddenly, she rose to the top earning two first call-outs in a row and winning the go-see challenge. She has taken some stunning photos and proved herself during the runway challenge, but will she be able to keep up her performance this week? We'll see. Find out tonight which of these girls will walk away from this competition and go back to their regular lives, and who will walk away an international Supermodel.

Critiques (Part 1) Daniela:Covergirl: This is very cute. The way you put your hands on your face could have easily been too over-powering, but you kept your touch very soft and your face has a lot of punch. The only problem I have is that I wish I couldn't see your tongue. But it is definitely a beautiful shot. 18/20 Marc Jacobs: This is gorgeous, and it works very well for Marc Jacobs. Your body looks fantastic and I love the way you angeled your face and your expression is just perfect. 20/20 Fatima:Covergirl: This is a nice shot, but there are some problems with it. One is that you are looking up way too high, and second is that your mouth your mouth looks a little weird. It's important during a beauty shot to be aware of every part of your face to make sure it is perfect. 14/20 Marc Jacobs: I thought your whole film was a mess. Nothing truly fit Marc Jacobs, and none of your shots were even that good. The pose is nice, but the face is....bad. 10/20 Montana:Covergirl: This photo is gorgeous, but it is way too dramatic. Had this been more of a close-up and focused more on your face rather than your hair, it would have been much more appropriate for a cosmetics ad. 16/20 Marc Jacobs: This is perfect, no need to critique. 20/20

For the spreads, I used Daniela's first, and her second cover, no alternative.
For Fatima, I used the second spread (there is only one alternate) and that alternate is the last page.
The scores for the cover/spread and the runway will not be revealed.

Critiques (Part 2) Daniela Vogue: I love the whole theme of your spread. The cover is fantastic, your first page is fantastic, your second page is fantastic, your last page is fantastic, the only page that is not fantastic is your third page. I love the face and the feeling that you are giving, but I don't like how your legs are looking and something about the way you are holding your arms open is not working for me. Runway: You had a nice strut, but something about your face was a little off. Your eyes were open very widely and they were kind of blank looking which came off looking a bit scary. Fatima Vogue: Your cover is beyond amazing, definitely the strongest shot of the whole spread. Your first page is good, but it would have been nice had you lifted your chin up a bit. Your second page is beautiful, it is an interesting choice to pose in total profile, but it works very well. Your third page is definitely my least favorite. The expression works, but the angles and the hands and neck just look really bad. Your last page is very strong, and I think that it ends the spread on a strong note. Runway: Your runway walk was...bad. That's about it. Montana Vogue: The photo for your cover works as a cover, but as a photo, it could have been stronger. The open mouth doesn't really work and there definitely could have been more life in your eyes. Your first page is beautiful, but the stiffness is distracting. Your second page is gorgeous, but it could have been a lot stronger had you extended your neck, and had you not re-used it from casting week. The third page is also beautiful, but again, you re-used it which is another half point off. Your last page is nice, but your lack of neck combined with un-sureness of your face doesn't work. Runway: You owned that runway. You commanded attention, looks very strong, but had an elegance about you which is lovely. You listened to everything that I, and the client asked for in terms of your walk and I love that.

The Winner Is....Karlie-Well ladies, this is it. In a moment, one of you will win a 2-year contract with IMG Models, have a cover and four page spread in Vogue Paris, an international ad campaign for Marc Jacobs, a beautiful penthouse in Los Angeles, and a $250,000 contract with Covergirl Cosmetics. Fatima, you are one of the more striking girls I have seen ever walk into this competition. You have what it takes to be majorly successful in this industry, both in commercial and high-fashion markets. Montana, you walked in here the weakest of the three girls. But you have improved so much that it really blows me away. You are at a perfect age so that you will have a long career ahead of you. Daniela, you are a very beautiful girl. You have the face, you have the body, and you have the versatility to make it far in this industry. You have taken some amazing pictures, and you should be very proud of making it this far. But only one of you can win. The Search for a Supermodel is over, and the winner is..... *the winners best photo pops up on the screen*DANIELA!*hugs her* Congratulations! You are now a Supermodel! You have come so far and have proven that you can be a fantastic commercial model, swimwear model, and high-fashion model. Clients have been impressed with you, which means that you can and will have a busy and amazing career ahead of you. You are now an IMG Model, the new face of Covergirl and Marc Jacobs, have a penthouse in Los Angeles, and will be in Vogue Paris! *hugs Fatima and Montana* You both should be so proud. I know this hurts more than anything, but this should not make you stop. You both have what it takes to be so successful, and I really want to see you both go out there and have fantastic careers. Fatima's final score: 233.5/290 Montana's final score: 255.5/290Daniela's final score: 270.5/290
