Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week you had a photoshoot for the H&M holiday campaign, something I have worked for many times myself. It didn't have to be super commercial, but overall I still expect warm, approachable looks because it is simple like a catalog. So let's get to it, starting as always with Agyness.
Agyness: This is very H&M, I like it! You're doing a great job of selling the outfit, you look very soft and approachable, and I love the way you are leaning against the other model because H&M ads often feature multiple models. There could be a little more to your expression, but overall you did a great job.
Anais: I expected you to kill this shoot, but your film left me wanting more. This is a good shot, you are selling the outfit and you have an approachable, relatable quality that gives this just enough commercial appeal, but I see more GAP here than H&M. There could also be a bit more life to your expression.
Anne: My one big critique for you would be to practice your smiling. In some of your shots, your smile was a bit too big and cheesy, and here it is a better size but it could be more genuine, your expression isn't completely believable. Otherwise this is great, it's very H&M and you are selling that whole outfit from head to toe.
Ashley: I wasn't completely sure what to expect from you for this shoot, but you pulled it off. This is very nice, I like the subtle smile and the overall softness and approachable quality you are exuding here. You look very beautiful, and you make me want to buy that shirt. I also like how you are looking to the side, though I wish your eyes weren't looking quite so far off because we see too much of the whites of your eyes, and if you cover one half of your face, you almost look cross-eyed. But overall great job!
Bianca: This is fantastic. You really captured that playful quality that their holiday campaigns often have, there's just the right amount of personality and commercial appeal. You also look very beautiful, and you are working well with the other model yet still outshining her. Great job!
Candice: You are very close to the line between commercial and cheesy, and though I don't think you completely crossed it you could've reigned back just a tiny bit because there is something about this that doesn't completely have the refined element of an H&M ad. Overall you did very well though, you are selling the outfit and you are definitely showing enough warmth and friendliness.
Carola: You are quite the opposite of Candice, you are very close to the line between commercial and editorial, and though are just on the commercial side, I would've liked to see a little more warmth and commercial appeal. It definitely still works for H&M though, I like the way you match up with the other model yet still outshine her, and you do look incredibly stunning. Just a little more personality to the shot or life in the expression would've brought this up a notch.
Daria: Well, if this isn't H&M, then I don't know what is! You are selling the outfit amazingly, you look so beautiful, and your legs look beyond incredible. You have a great connection with the camera, and though your expression isn't very commercial, the pose provides the personality you'd expect from an H&M ad. Wonderful job, Daria.
Dioni: I spent such a long time looking this shot over, it's not a bad shot by any means but there's just something a little off about it. And now I've realized that it's because you look a bit bored. You do look very beautiful, you have a good connection with the camera and you are selling the outfit, but I just see boredom in the expression and pose instead of warmth. It could still work, it just lacks the life and personality I would have liked.
Gertrud: I don't know what happened this week, but whatever it was, work on it because your film was not so good. This shot definitely works for H&M, but you lucked into it. There's an awkward yet endearing quality to your pose that works quite well and gives this shot personality. Your face also looks very beautiful, though it could use a bit more life, your expression is almost blank. Overall this is a good shot, but it's the only one of your film that worked.
Karlie: You did a very good job this week, I could've used almost any shot in your film with it receiving the same score. You went for a less obviously commercial look, but your pose and the way you are looking up into the distance gives this that hint of personality to provide commercial appeal. You are also probably doing the best job of selling the outfit of all the girls.
Melodie: There's something about this that just isn't quite 100% H&M, but it would definitely still work. You have a very natural, friendly smile that lights up your face and makes this shot stand out. You're also doing a great job of selling the outfit. There's just a little something about this photo that is slightly off which stops it short of perfection, but overall great job.
Nadine: I had high expectations for you after last week, but sadly you did not meet them, there was nothing really usable in your film. This is a beautiful shot, you look stunning and I love the motion, but it strikes me more as an editorial than anything for H&M. It's not bad, it just doesn't completely fit the brief.
Sui: To be honest, I kinda expected you to crash and burn in this shoot because you are rather edgy, but I am pleasantly surprised by this! This is fantastic, it just screams H&M Holiday. Your expression is very genuine and lively, you have adorable dimples that work to your advantage, and you are selling the outfit like a pro. You are working with the other model quite well yet still outshining her so good job on that. My only critique is that your arm clutching the other model is a little awkward, but that's just a minor detail.
