JUDGING Liya: Hello lovely ladies, and welcome to your last judging before we enter our finale! This was a very crucial double shoot, for which I looked back and analyzed your histories in this competition and decided which genres were your strongest and your weakest when it comes to your photos, and assigned each of you two shoots. Let's see how you all did, starting with Bianca. BiancaStrength: You actually went a little more high fashion than I anticipated in your film, but overall I was impressed and there was a lot to choose from. What I love most about this photo is your pose, even though you aren't doing anything too crazy, you're creating a lot of angles and curves and used the perfect amount of tension, your body looks incredible. I especially love how long your legs look, the arch in your back, and the interesting angles you created with your arms. You also have a great neck extension, and your face looks incredibly gorgeous like usual, you find the light wonderfully. If you squinted just a little less or closed your eyes completely then this would be absolutely perfection. Weakness: I'll be honest, I kinda invented a weakness out of the blue for you because I haven't found one yet, but it looks like I actually pinpointed it because you struggled a little in this film. You still got the shot in the end, but I wasn't as impressed as I usually am with your film. I definitely see androgyny in this photo, you even almost look like a guy I know. I really like your legs and your bone structure in this shot, and I do like the toughness of your expression though I wish you didn't look quite so high up. There's just a little awkwardness to this that isn't quite working, I think there's just a little too much twist and curve in your torso whereas something simpler would've worked better. Overall I'm impressed though. DariaStrength: Damn girl, your film was just incredible pose after incredible pose, I was very impressed. This pose just absolutely knocked my socks off though, I'm amazed at your balance and coordination! First of all, you look so tall, your legs go on for miles! Second, I have no idea how you managed to pose like that without falling or looking stiff, but whatever you did I am astounded and I love the point in your toes and the way you worked with the fabric. This is also a great angle for your face, just a little more emotion in the expression would bring this to absolute perfection though it's still pretty darn close. Weakness: It's quite interesting to see such a contrast between the drama of your first photo and the simplicity of this, you really proved your versatility here. This is probably the youngest and freshest I have seen you look, which is exactly what I wanted to see. Despite just standing there with a relaxed stance, I am still very drawn to you in this photo, your expression is very calm yet captivating and I am very drawn to you. I also just love how natural and serene this is. I don't have much else to say, well done! GertrudStrength: I had a feeling you would excel in this shoot and you definitely did, though I would not quite say this is your strongest beauty shot. This is a great angle for your face, your bone structure looks amazing, and I love how dark and mysterious this photo is. There's something a little birdlike about you here that I like, you remind me of a raven I think, and the strong eye contact enhances that. A little more to your expression, and this would be golden. Weakness: Your expression in this photo is very strong, your eyes are so piercing and really draw me to your face...which is exactly the problem. You were supposed to dazzle me and show me that you can take a full body photo without relying on your face, and though your pose is decent, it's not nearly as great as I was looking for. You did have a better pose in your film, but the face in that shot was not too great. This is still a strong photo, but it doesn't quite prove to me that you can coordinate a strong pose with a strong face. KarlieStrength: Going through your film, I was waiting for that shot that jumped out at me and then I got to the end and said "Really? That's it?" Nothing really popped in your film this week, your best photos either didn't fit the theme as much as I wanted or were looks I had already seen, and the ones that fit the theme the best weren't that great. This is a fantastic photo, it actually might be one of my favorites of yours, but it's a bit too simple. I love the pose, I'm very impressed by your balance, your legs look amazing, and I love the angles of your arms as well as the wind in your hair. I think your face also looks great and I like your expression, though a little more power would make this more fitting. Overall I just get more editorial than high fashion, couture vibes though. Weakness: I might have actually been more impressed by this than what was supposed to be your strong film! Your certainly did a better job of matching your theme here, I see a lot of emotion pouring through; this completely reeks of sadness, desolation, loneliness, despair, depression, etc. Your pose is awkward and scrunched in a good way, and your face is shadowed and downturned in a way that tells a story and still makes you look beautiful. There could be a little more wow factor to this, but overall I'm impressed.

ELIMINATIONS Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week you all got to flaunt your strengths and conquer your weaknesses in your double photoshoot, and overall I was quite impressed. This week really showed me what you girls were made of, and for once it led me to a not so difficult decision that I won't second guess, but most of all it gave me confidence that I will have the strongest final 3 yet in the history of this competition. So, without further ado, the first name I am going to call is... DARIA! Congratulations Daria, you proved how well-rounded you can be this week and absolutely blew me away, you're in the finale! BIANCA! Congratulations, you're in the finale as well! Will Gertrud and Karlie please step forward? You both stand before me for exact opposite reasons. Gertrud, this week you proved me right about your strength, your beauty shot was stunning, but you also proved me right about your weakness, I'm still unsure as to whether or not you can coordinate a strong face with a strong pose. Karlie, you on the other hand did conquer your weakness, I saw plenty of strong emotion shine through in your photo. It is your strength photo that worries me though, you didn't show a mastery of what I assumed to be your strongest area which makes me wonder if perhaps you are cracking under the pressure. So who goes, the girl who couldn't quite conquer her weakness, or the girl who couldn't quite master her strength? * flips photos* KARLIE! It would take more than one little slip up like this to send you home after such a strong history, so don't worry, you're in the finale. Congratulations! *hugs Gertrud* Gertrud, I think we both kinda saw this coming, but that doesn't mean I'm not sad to see you go. You are such a stunning girl and a very strong model, all you need is some more practice with your posing and I think you can go far. And just look at how far you came, you've improved so much since last cycle and finished so much further, I really am proud of you so go out there and continue to make me proud. Goodbye, and good luck! *hugs her again*

~LIYA LETTER~ "Ding, dong! Be ready...NOW!" ~ Liya *the girls look confused* *the doorbell rings* *Daria runs to answer it* *Liya walks in* Liya: Hello lovely ladies! There is too much to do this week to waste any time, so I'm just going to announce your tasks right now so you can get straight to work. The tasks are as follows: 1. LEMLEM AD CAMPAIGN: Remember back in the first full week when you ladies shot for various lines of the previous winner's? Well, the winner of this cycle will get her line too, so now it's time for each of you to shoot your own ad for your own line! This is completely open-ended, it could be for a perfume, jewelry, clothing...whatever you want! Just remember to sell your creations and bring your own personal style to it, and the most important thing is that youcannot overlap with another previous winner's theme. 2. HUGO BOSS AD CAMPAIGN: There's a reason you went on a go-see for Hugo Boss...the winner will also be shooting his next campaign! You should have a general idea of what he is looking for from your go-sees, and for clarification you can always look his ads up. You can sell his clothing, eyewear, or perfume. 3. ESTEE LAUDER AD CAMPAIGN: Estee Lauder is a huge cosmetics company, so this is a big deal to do well on. They obviously want a beauty shot and you can be selling any sort of makeup you want. They are kind of middle of the road between commercial and edgy, they sometimes lean closer to one or the other but they are never too smiley or really high fashion, and typically have a regal quality. 4. VOGUE GERMANY COVER/SPREAD: Next will be your cover and 4 spread for Vogue Germany! It should be very editorial or high fashion of course, and should follow a cohesive theme. 5. MARC JACOBS RUNWAY: Strong. Edgy. Powerful. Dynamic. You get the drift, two passes. Good luck!

Jennelyn has already pm'ed me her stuff, so just waiting on Tennis and bdon. I know it's a lot so I'm not setting a deadline, and I already know I won't have enough time at all tomorrow to announce the winner anyway, but I'd like everything in by Saturday please or Sunday at the latest.

WHO WILL IT BE? Liya: Welcome one and all to the finale of the eighth cycle of Who Wants to be a Supermodel! Tonight, we will be crowning the eighth winner of this competition, who will be joining the ranks of Sasha, Hilary, Gisele, Fatima, Caroline, Doutzen, and Joan as real top models taking storm over the fashion world. But who will this new winner be? Will it be Daria? This Canadian-Ukrainian goddess got off to an inconsistent start to the competition, but as the weeks went on she continued to improve and built up her consistency and has proven herself to be quite a contender, entering the finale with the most first call-outs. She also enters with the most bottom-twos though, so will she be able to rise to the top or fall to the bottom in the end? Or will it be Bianca, the Italian stunner who has consistently proven herself from week to week? She has plenty of bookings and top call-outs, and has yet to get a taste of the bottom two, so she enters this finale with the highest track record...but also the highest amount of pressure. Can she live up to the bar she has set, or will she crack under the pressure? But don't count out our American beauty, Karlie. She started off this competition as a bit of a dark horse, doing consistently well but not as obvious as some of the other girls. But as the weeks went on, her silent threat got louder and louder, and now she enters the finale with a very impressive history behind her. She recently made her first trip to the bottom two, however, so will she be able to bounce back? The answer to these questions will be revealed tonight, when we truly find out Who Wants to be a Supermodel!

JUDGING: CAMPAIGNS Liya: Hello my lovely, wonderful, beautiful final 3! This week's judging will be divided into 2 parts, in the first part I will critique the campaigns you shot, and in the second part I will go over your Vogue Germany shoots and Marc Jacobs runways. Let's get to it, starting with Bianca. BiancaLemLem "Au Naturel": I wish I could have combined all your shots together because you look the best in the first shot, but you have the best expression in the second, but your third has the best connection with the camera. What I love about this photo is that you just look so unbelievably gorgeous, your bone structure is wonderful and your skin is just flawless, and you hair and your lips and your eyes look great too. I just wish there was more life behind your eyes. You can almost get away with it because you are in a natural setting so it looks like you are surprised to be caught on camera, but I just wish there was more to your expression. I also wish I couldn't see your teeth like that. Overall very good job, but it's lacking the power to be amazing. Hugo Boss: This is reminds me of one of Joan's first shots in last cycle's competition, which is one of my favorite shots of her and in turn this is one of my favorite shots of you. It's very regal and sophisticated, I like how you decided to sell his sunglasses because I definitely want to go out and buy those right now. Your skin looks so luminescent, your hand is very graceful, this is a good angle for your face, and I love how you found the light. Great job! Estee Lauder: You struggled getting the theme right here, you only really captured it in one frame but I didn't like that shot from the lips down. I do love this shot, your bone structure, lips, and skin look amazing, and though only one eye is visible, it is the best I have seen your eyes look and you are really selling that eyeliner. It's just a bit too edgy and mysterious for Estee Lauder, I see Revlon or Maybelline when I look at this instead. EL does go edgier sometimes and this would still work, but it doesn't fit as well as it could. DariaLemLem "Nature's Couture": This shot is very you, very similar to things I have seen from you before, and though that normally might not be a good critique, that's what I wanted to see from this so I'm very glad about that. Your skin, bone structure, and eyes look amazing, and I love how you are embracing yourself with your arms. There are only three minor details bringing this down, which would be the lack of neck, awkwardly parted mouth, and flat feet, but each of those are very minor so overall great job. Hugo Boss: A little more life in the eyes would have made this perfect, but otherwise I am not going to bother critiquing this because it is exactly what he was looking for, so wonderful job! Estee Lauder: You had a lot to choose from for this shoot, I was very impressed. This is very Estee Lauder, it has that natural yet sophisticated look they go for. Your bone structure and skin look amazing, and your eyes have such a fantastic connection with the camera, you could be selling me anything from mascara to eyeshadow to foundation to bronzer, but whatever you're selling I'd buy because you sell it all so well. Lovely job. KarlieLemLem "Natural Side": Posing with another model in your shot was a risk, but overall it pays off because I notice you just a little more than her. I love the motion in this photo, you have a very powerful stride which really sells the outfit because it opens up that large coat and emphasizes your beautiful legs to sell those boots. You definitely do the best job of all the girls of selling the clothes. I also like your neck extension and this is a great angle for your face, and my goodness your hair is just amazing. There's not quite enough wow factor to give this a true perfect score, but it's still a great photo and works the best for an ad. Hugo Boss: You had an odd film, your best shot wasn't as usable and your most usable shot wasn't as good, so I used this in between one. I do see Hugo Boss here, I love the sophisticated sensuality you are exuding and I also like how you posed with a male model because his ads often feature men and women. I also love your face here, I don't see your profile very often but it is quite nice, your jawline and neck look especially lovely. Your pose is a little weird though. While you do a nice job of selling the dress, your pose is just a bit awkward and rather unnatural, your hands are graceful but in a contrived way, and your torso could use more angles and curves. Overall it's a good shot and definitely usable, but not your best work. Estee Lauder: Your film was much more Maybelline than Estee Lauder, and this photo is basically in between them but would definitely still work for EL. Everything about your face is so right here, the angle, your expression, your eyes, your lips, your bone structure...everything just works. The hand also actually works, you're selling me nail polish as well as lipstick, and I do like the over the shoulder pose though I wish it were angled slightly differently to give you more neck or to make your back less broad. Other than that this is wonderful though.

JUDGING: VOGUE GERMANY & MARC JACOBS Liya: Now that we have gotten your campaigns out of the way, it's time to take a look at your covers and spreads for Vogue Italia, and then your two passes for the Marc Jacobs runway show. BiancaVogue: You know I love that cover, so there's no point in critiquing perfection. I love your first page, you look like a sad, cold nun who is losing faith, there's a very strong story being told. Your second page is great as well, your legs look amazing and I love how look so lost in prayer though there could be a little more power. I like your third page as well though it's probably my least favorite of the spread, I love the emotion pouring through and how you caught the light, but it just doesn't stand out that much. Your last page is my favorite of the spread though, there's just so much emotion in it and such a strong story being told, and your legs look so amazing. Overall I'm very impressed, great job! Marc Jacobs: Your first pass was very strong, you had the power and edge one expects from Marc Jacobs and really fit the brief. Your second pass wasn't quite as good, you were elegant and strong but you could have powered through the mask better. DaraVogue: Your cover is very interesting, I love the androgyny and your bone structure, and you have a fantastic connection with something in the distance. Looking off to the side was a risk for a cover, and though it looks just a little more like a Beauty in Vogue cover, it still works I'd say. I love your first page, I love all the angles and tension in your pose, and your animalistic connection with something in the distance is wonderful. I love your second page as well, you really look like you're ready to take down a crocodile or something, just a little more tension and angle in your legs would make this perfect. Your third page is also wonderful, your pose is incredibly with your pointed toes and all your balance, a little more intensity in the face brought it over the top. And your last page is also great, I like how this is softer and more feminine than the rest, you have a great curve in your body and your legs look great. Absolutely amazing job! Marc Jacobs: Your first pass was pretty good, you looked very sophisticated and regal and you made the clothes look great, though a little more power would have made it more fitting. Your second pass was more Marc Jacobs, it had the edge and power the other pass lacked though it was a tad bit stiff. Overall good job though. KarlieVogue: Your is very strong, I definitely see it as a cover and it grabs my attention. Your first shot is my favorite of the spread and one of my favorites of the competition, your body and face look amazing and I love your expression, and overall there's something very mystical and Alice in Wonderland-ish about it that I love. Your second shot is my least favorite, it's not a bad photo by any means but there's just nothing about it that really pops. I do like your third shot, again it's like Alice in Wonderland but with a diva edge, though I feel like you could have given it more umph. I really like your last shot, this also could have worked for the cover but is still editorial, you are selling the outfit and I like the captivating mysterious quality of your expression. Overall very good job. Marc Jacobs: You definitely were the most fitting of the three girls on the runway. Your first pass was really good, it definitely fit the brief though it was a little crooked. Your second pass was fantastic though, lots of energy and spunk though still with power, and though it was perhaps a little more Marc by Marc than the main line, it definitely still worked fine.

ELIMINATION Liya: Hello lovely ladies. We have critiqued your final materials for this competition, and I have your total scores not only from this week, but from the entire competition, totaled. And let me say, the scores are close. The winner is clear, but the scores are close. But before I announce the winner, I need to cut 3 down to 2. I am not going to do a call-out order for a group this small, so I am just going to call the eliminee's name. So, I am very, very sorry, but the eighth winner is not... Karlie. I am very sorry Karlie, but in the end you were outperformed this week in each task but the runway. You are such an amazing girl, and overall I'd say you might have even performed more strongly than some previous winners of this competition, but even though you entered the finale tied for the highest score and still did a good job, Daria and Bianca pulled ahead. *tears up* *hugs Karlie* You are going to be great Karlie, I know it, so really don't give up because I know you will go very, very far. Goodbye, and good luck! *hugs her again* Karlie's Final Score: 388.5

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT Liya: And then there were two. Bianca and Daria, will you both please step forward. Both of you have come so far and both of you have performed so amazingly, and I know that both of you will find such great success out there in the fashion industry once this is over. But in the end I can only choose one, and one of you has performed more strongly than the other. But which is it? Bianca, you have been such a consistent force in this competition. You've booked the most jobs, received two first call-outs, did the best in the go-sees, and have never been in the bottom two. Win or lose, you probably have the most impressive track record in the history of this competition. But Daria, you also have quite the impressive track record in this competition with the most first call-outs and quite a bit of bookings yourself, and you also were the top performer in the finale as well as last week, which have been two of the most important weeks of the competition. Only one of you can win the eighth cycle of Who Wants to be a Supermodel, and that model is... BIANCA!!!!!! Congratulations Bianca, your extreme consistency and versatility made you the clear winner of this competition. You had very few bumps along the road, and you are one of the few girls who managed to start off on top, yet still finish higher than where you started. YOU ARE THE WINNER OF WHO WANTS TO BE A SUPERMODEL!!!! *hugs her* *hugs Daria* Daria, you are such a strong, beautiful, amazing, phenomenal model and I know you will go so very far too. I wish both of you could have won because you are one of my favorite models ever to appear in the competition, but the rules don't allow that. You should still be very proud though, in a cycle of such strong girls you made it incredibly far and put up one hell of a fight, and I know you'll still become a star. Goodbye, and good luck. *hugs her again* Bianca's final score: 398.5 Daria's final score: 390

Me: Thanks everyone for playing, this was a great cycle to host! A lot of my favorite models were used which made it interesting, and I was also introduced to some new favorites through this competition. I'd also like to congratulate Tennis for winning again, and congrats as well to Jennelyn and Bdon for placing 2nd and 3rd. And actually, I'd like to congratulate everyone else for doing so well this cycle, it made my job very difficult and I was so impressed each week. Thanks for playing!
