JUDGING Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week we continued the New Year theme by creating resolutions, then embracing them in a photo by either showing yourself making/representing a change or by demonstrating the bad habit you would like to change. Let's take a look at the results, starting with Anais. Anais: This is a pretty good photo. Your skin looks so amazing, and your pose definitely exudes confidence with the popped hip, hand on the hip, and just the right amount of tension. You also have a beautiful profile, and I do like your gaze in this photo but I don't think your face completely exudes enough confidence to match the pose. When I look closely at it, there's a bit of a disconnect and I almost see more boredom than confidence. Overall good job though. Ashley: You did have a better shot in your film, but I decided that this fit your theme the best and it is still an amazing shot. This is very captivating, it's very serene and peaceful about it yet it also has a haunting and somber quality that gives it an edge. This is probably the best I have ever seen your bone structure look, your cheekbones and jawline are just incredible, and I also love your lips here. I love how you are clutching your robes and cross, and the pained expression is just perfect. I don't really have any negatives to say. Bianca: *shudders* Wow, this sends a chill down my spine! This is so haunting and eerie, I absolutely love it. Your eye is so piercing, and I don't mean the typical fiery, intense type of piercing but more of a cold, evil type of piercing that penetrates the soul. I also love what you did with your hand, it's very edgy and weird and risky in a way that works. Overall I'm very impressed, that bottom 3 scare definitely seemed to work because this is one of your best shots to date. Candice: You had a very impressive film this week, I had a trouble choosing your photo. You look so beautiful and glamorous, there's such a timeless and classic feel that I like about this photo. What I like most, though, is the mixture of emotions you are conveying. Your expression shows longing and desire because of the addiction, but also regret and resistance because you want to stop. Fantastic job. Daria: You had so much to choose from in your film, you took plenty of risks and I was impressed by all the variation. You remind me of a gazelle, you have such a strong yet elegant leap, and your body looks fantastic, especially your legs. Your skin is so beautiful and you look so fit and healthy, I definitely see your resolution here. I also like the determination in your expression, and you have a beautiful profile. There's a tiny bit of stiffness, but it's very easy to overlook considering how stunning this is. Gertrud: I love that you went for a unique and fashion-relevant resolution. Your film was good, though it dragged on a bit because there wasn't much variation so be more conscious of that. I chose this shot because it stood out the most to me, there is something very classic and vintage, yet also simple and natural about it that I really like. You look so beautiful and your bone structure is incredible, you did a great job of finding the light. I also love how you are looking off to the side. I don't have much else to say, great job! Karlie: I have no idea why you would be uncomfortable in a body like yours, you are probably the most statuesque individual I have ever seen! You just look unbelievable here. Your legs go on for miles, you have a very well-sculpted tush and such a lean torso, your neck is the perfect length, and this is probably the best angle for your beautiful face. Your cheekbones look amazing, your jawline looks great, I love the shape of your lips, and I also think I neglected to mention the lovely arch in your back and how great your skin looks. I could continue praising this for hours, but I think I'll just move on to the next girl. Nadine: You had a very interesting and varied film, I like the risks you took. This stood out to me, coming out is a very admirable and courageous resolution. You are the only one not looking at the camera here, yet my eyes go straight to you, you completely outshine the other models. Your body and skin look wonderful, and this is a great angle for your face. I also love your expression, I could interpret this is as you being sorrowful and hesitant to come out and admit your feelings, and/or you are torn between the two lovers. Fantastic job!

ELIMINATIONS Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week you all had to do a New Year's Resolution inspired shoot for Elle Magazine, and the results were extremely impressive, nearly everyone received a perfect score. Originally only 4 of you were going to appear in Elle, but they were so impressed that they decided to let everyone but the eliminee into the spread. The first call-out was so difficult to decide, and the call-out order was nearly impossible so I also had to take things like your films into account. Anyway, without further ado, the first name I am going to call is... KARLIE! Congratulations on your second FCO, you really earned it! BIANCA! You were so close to that FCO, glad to see you back on top! NADINE! Great job like always! DARIA! You keeping on blowing me away! CANDICE! Superb job this week! ASHLEY! Don't worry one bit about being called this low, you still received a perfect score and did an amazing job this week. Will Anais and Gertrud please step forward? This is an interesting pair because in the beginning, I saw both of you making it very far, but obviously one of you won't be anymore. Anais, you have had a strong history overall in this competition, but you also have been a bit rocky and inconsistent, and this week, you were the only girl who did not receive a perfect or near-perfect score. Your photo was still pretty good, but just not up to par with the rest in the strongest week so far. Gertrud, you are not here for a bad photo at all, actually your photo was quite gorgeous. You are here because your film was a little uninspiring this week, and I feel like you played it safe in a week when the rest of the girls took a lot of risks. Since this is your second time around in this competition I am going to have higher expectations, so you need to work harder to meet them. So who stays? *flips photo* GERTRUD! The biggest reason of all that you were in the bottom two, however, was because somebody had to be. You had a fantastic photo this week, you were only 0.5 away from a perfect score, so I wouldn't really worry about it much, just try to push harder. Congratulations, you are still in the running. *hugs Anais* Anais, you are an absolutely stunning girl and you have so much talent and potential so don't give up. I know you can become very successful with just a little more practice and consistency, so keep on pushing hard and I know you can go far, but unfortunately you've used up your chances here. Goodbye, and good luck. *hugs Anais again*

*The girl hear the doorbell ring at 5AM* *Groggy and exhausted, Ashley opens the door* *Liya walks in the door, all chipper and perky*
Liya: Hello lovely ladies! I hope you all managed to get some sleep in, because lord knows I didn't! The last elimination just left me so unsettled, I was just tossing and turning all night and could not get to sleep. My aching mind just kept nagging at me, and I figured out how to set it right. So Gertrud, can you please step forward? I'm sorry, hunny, but after thinking it over, I changed my mind from last week and decided that you are actually going to have to pack your bags as well. *Gertrud gasps*
Gertrud: What?!
Liya: *waves her off* Yeah, I'm serious, go pack your bags. Actually, another thought also occurred to me...Ashley, you know how I said not to worry about your low call-out last week?
Ashley: Yeah...?
Liya: Well, I lied. I thought about it, and I decided you are going to have to pack your bags as well.
Ashley: *whimpers and hugs Gertrud*
Liya: Actually, you know what...why don't all of you just pack your bags!
*everyone looks confused*
Liya: Because...we are all going to...
HOLLYWOOD!!! I was serious about packing your bags, but it's not for an elimination, wee are all off to LA! So everyone, get packed because our flight leaves in 2 hours!

*everyone boards the plane and goes off to LA* *the plane lands and Liya greets everyone at baggage claim*
Liya: Hello again lovely ladies, and welcome to Los Angeles! People often say here is where magic is made, where dreams come true, and where fame is founded. And that is the theme for this week, so embrace it now because you are all getting straight to work!
You will actually be having a challenge in addition to your shoot this week, which will be a red carpet event! This competition could launch some of you into stardom, and even if you don't plan on coming back out to Hollywood, fashion still has its red carpet events like the CFDA awards so you ladies need to know how to handle yourselves on the red carpet. There are three aspects to worry about: the outfit, the paparazzi, and the interview.
For your outfit, I want to see glamorous and beautiful dresses and gowns, though keep them fashionable and modelesque, this isn't prom. (Your model does not actually have to wearing it)
For the paparazzi, they will be swarming around the event taking pictures, so pose your butts off for those cameras though remember to keep it candid and natural! (A red carpet/backstage/candid shot is preferred, though if your model doesn't have any good ones or any at all then photoshoots can be used)
For the interview, you have three questions to answer. Remember to be informative, fun, and personable, though still brief and don't ramble. Your questions are:
1. Who is your favorite designer and why?
2. Why do you want to win this competition and become a supermodel?
3. Who do you think deserves to be here the most? And the least?
Now, after your red carpet challenge, you will also have a photoshoot for Vanity Fair magazine! For the photoshoot, you will be portraying fame in an editorial way, either by showing the upsides and glamorous aspects (i.e. attention, parties, glitz/glamour, fortune, etc.), or by showing the downsides and negative aspects (i.e. paparazzi, lack of privacy, stereotypes like addiction/alcoholism/snobiness, etc.). Good luck!

Ashley Outfit & PaparazziInterview 1. Who is your favorite designer and why? I love everything Alexander Wang, I love how his creations are unique and how he consistantly maintains his usage of neautral colors, he can design anything from dresses to casual wear and pulls if off in a style that really sets him apart from everyone else. 2. Why do you want to win this competition and become a supermodel? I really enjoy modeling and I want to continue to have a future in this industry, and I want to prove that the gap look is still going strong. *giggles* 3. Who do you think deserves to be here the most? And the least? Sorry, out of respect for all the girls here I cant really answer that question. *smiles* Nadine Outfit & PaparazziInterview 1. Who is your favorite designer and why? I absolutely love Miss Sixty, her designs really follow the alternative girl look, but she keeps that edgyness while also making it very fashionable and sexy and thats exactly what my style is like. 2. Why do you want to win this competition and become a supermodel? I want to win not only because this is something ive wanted for a while, but also I want to send a message that you can still break into this industry even if you dont fit into the typical archetype of what is considered beautiful. I want to show to girls, and boys too, that different is beautiful too. 3. Who do you think deserves to be here the most? And the least? I think all the girls here have earned their spot, which I think says a lot because as the judgings so far will tell you, we are a really talented group of girls. *laughs*

Gertrud: Challenge: Dress (Left) Paparazzi1. Who is your favorite designer and why? I absolutely love Elie Saab. I really love his use of pastel colors and flowing fabrics. They just make you feel so light and airy. 2. Why do you want to win this competition and become a supermodel? To be better than my sister. *laughs* No, just kidding. I want to win this competition because modeling completes me. I know that sounds cheesy, but it really sets my heart on fire and allows me to express myself more easily. 3. Who do you think deserves to be here the most? And the least? Uhm. Me. Duh! Kidding, again. I can't really answer that because we've all been so strong and if any of us deserved to be here more than everyone else, they'd've already won and if someone didn't deserve to be here, they wouldn't be. Karlie: DressPaparazzi
1. Who is your favorite designer and why? I adore Gucci. The bold colors and innovative designs have always drawn me in and that's why I'm wearing them tonight. 2. Why do you want to win this competition and become a supermodel? I want to be a supermodel because I grew up looking at magazines with all these amazing models in them and I just have always wanted to emulate them. It would really be a dream come true. 3. Who do you think deserves to be here the most? And the least? That's harsh! We all deserve to be here and all the girls are amazing. Who is your favorite designer and why? My favorite designer is definitely Marchesa. I mean come on did you see that dress Halle Berry wore at the 2011 Oscars, it was to die for. I would be wearing their designs right now, but have you seen the prices?! 2. Why do you want to win this competition and become a supermodel? Because models make a lot of money. *giggles* No, I want to become a supermodel, because well I love modeling and also because I want to help the world. One of the main reasons I joined the competition is because Liya is known for her charity and I also want to give back to the world as well. Times are tough, with today's economy so I really want to help those that are less fortunate. *smiles* 3. Who do you think deserves to be here the most? And the least? We all deserve to be here right now. We've been through the toughest challenges and we've all given it 110%. I see dedication in each and every one of these girls so I can't say that one girl deserves it more or even less than the others. Candice: i43.tinypic.com/1z4bcxj.jpgi40.tinypic.com/21jnm0o.jpgi41.tinypic.com/2me8okj.jpgi42.tinypic.com/mb0jyv.jpgi41.tinypic.com/21aya0l.jpgi39.tinypic.com/nq8sk6.jpgOutfit/Paparazzi: i41.tinypic.com/2njhhkp.jpgi41.tinypic.com/zjf3x3.jpg1. Who is your favorite designer and why? Without a doubt it would have to be Tom Ford. His designs just have an old hollywood glamour look to them and an elegant yet sexy vibe that I just love. In fact, I'm wearing a design from his Fall 2011 collection right now! 2. Why do you want to win this competition and become a supermodel? Not gonna lie I love being the center of attention and I think that the modeling world gives you that feeling. Models who've worked for years would dream for the prizes that the winner receives so I think winning this competition would give me the exposure and boost I need to take this industry by storm. 3. Who do you think deserves to be here the most? And the least? Of course I deserve to be here the most! *giggles* No, just kidding. I just don't think it would be fair to say one girl deserves to be here over the other. We have all worked our hardest to make it to this point.

CHALLENGE RESULTS Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week you all came here to Hollywood where you got a taste of the life of the rich and famous by being in the spotlight at a red carpet event. The three things I paid the most attention to were your outfits, paparazzi photos, and your interviews, all of which were scored out of 5 points so your final scores were out of 15. The winner of this challenge will receive immunity from eliminations this week. I will briefly go over your performances before I announce the winner. Ashley - You looked great, your outfit was sexy and chic, and your pose was very cute though you looked a little more actressy than modelesque. You handled yourself pretty well in the interview. Bianca - You looked so sexy and glamorous, you were definitely a stand-out in terms of appearance though your photo was a little vacant. You were very sweet in your interview, though also a little pagenty so watch out for that. Candice - You looked like a classic star out there, your outfit was very sexy yet classy and your photo (2nd) was so Hollywood yet still modelesque. Your interview was also great. Daria - You did a good job overall, but I have a critique for each portion. Be a little more aware of the camera angles because your best features were a bit hidden in your photo, your outfit was a little outdated, and you were just a tiny bit too talkative, but you still did a good job. Gertrud - You looked amazing, I loved the way you worked your dress though a tiny bit more sparkle in your face would have made you the standout. You were also very personable and cute in your interview. Karlie - The neckpiece was just a little much, but overall I loved your outfit, definitely one of my favorites. You overworked it a little too much in your photo, though your photo was otherwise good. Your interview was pretty good, though I didn't glean much about your persona from it. Nadine - Your outfit was unique and made you stand out, though there was something a little off about it, something about the length and fabric made you look bigger than you are. You looked very pretty in your photo though a little on the older side. Your interview was great though. Liya: In the end, it was very, very close between Candice and Gertrud, but in the end I decided the winner is... GERTRUD! Congratulations, you have won immunity, and another special prize that will be revealed at judging. Though Candice, you were so close that I also decided you will be receiving a special prize, which also will be revealed at judging. Congratulations!

JUDGING Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week you also had a photoshoot for Vanity Fair in which you had to portray fame, either by the positive glamorous aspects or by the negative unfortunate aspects. Let's take a look at the results, starting with Ashley. Ashley: You really got into the theme this week, you had such a strong film and this shot is amazing. I see a portrayal of both aspects of fame here, actually. On the one hand, I see the glitzy, glamorous side because you look like a rockstar who lives a very fabulous life with lots of excess and luxury. On the other hand, I also see the self-obsession and vanity that often comes with fame, the way you are doing your makeup and looking exhaustedly into the mirror tell a story of trying so hard to keep a picture perfect image. I also can't go without commenting on how extraordinary your bone structure looks in this shot. Amazing job. Bianca: If this isn't classic Hollywood glamour, then I don't know what is! It reminds me of a still or poster from a 40s movie, it's just so timeless and iconic. This is amazing, you look so posh and regal and overall just incredibly gorgeous. Your bone structure looks amazing and I love your eyes, they are so captivating and have such a strong connection with something in the distance. Normally I am not a big fan of open mouths, but I actually like that here, when you combine it with the rest of your expression and the way you are holding the earring, it gives this a more in-the-moment feeling. Candice: This is so classic Hollywood diva, you definitely nailed the theme. You look so posh and glamorous, you're really selling that outfit and those accessories. Your face also looks amazing and so does your skin. My only critique would be that your hands are a little weird, but overall fantastic job. Daria: Dang girl, this is a very risky shot but the risk paid off, I'm impressed! I get Lindsay Lohan vibes from this shot, a whirlwind of wrong decisions after all the pressures of skyrocketing into fame. You look like you have been partying hard with the wrong crowd, and now you've passed out and who knows what will become of you. Your skin and bone structure look phenomenal here, and I like the neck extension as well. Marvelous job! Gertrud: You look unbelievably stunning throughout your film, but that was the problem, you were just looking beautiful for most of the shots and nothing else was shining through. This photo is fabulous though, once again you look beyond stunning, your body looks incredible, and the hair flip makes this more dynamic. You find the light beautifully with your face, and I love the way you are looking off into the distance, I could see this being either a still from a movie or just a rich movie star enjoying the view from her balcony. Wonderful photo, but it took you a while to get to this. Karlie: Gorgeous! This is so glamorous and glitzy, I see a rich movie star striking a pose to give the paparazzi what they want. You look so tall and this is a fantastic angle for your face, and I also love the sensuality and snootiness you are exuding. I don't have much else to say, great job! Nadine: I have one big critique for this and that is the hand placement, it makes it look rather like you are pleasuring yourself which is never a good thing to portray in fashion. Otherwise this is great though, you look so sexy and glamorous, and I definitely see the theme here. You have a beautiful profile, a great neck extension, you're selling the jewelry quite well, and I love the sensuality you are exuding. Aside from that hand, this is a fabulous photo.

ELIMINATION Liya: Hello lovely ladies! This week you all got a taste of the fast paced and glamorous life of Hollywood, through a red carpet event and then through your photoshoot portraying the aspect of fame of your choice. Overall I was extremely impressed with the results as usual, you girls just don't want to make this easy for me! The top 3 photos will be appearing in Vanity Fair magazine. So, the first name I am going to call is... BIANCA! After consistently being called towards the top, you finally got a first call-out. Congratulations! ASHLEY! Glad to see you back at the top! DARIA! Congratulations, you are the final girl to appear in Vanity Fair! KARLIE! Consistent as ever! GERTRUD! Despite having a great photo, I'd still say you lucked out with the immunity this week because otherwise you would be in the bottom two and perhaps going home. Anyway, your special prize from the challenge is a first class ticket to our international destination, to be revealed next week! Will Candice and Nadine please step forward? This is a very difficult bottom two for me, perhaps the most difficult so far this season and you both know that's saying something, so I'll make this quick. Candice, you had a great photo this week, but so did everybody else which is the problem because yours didn't stand out. You almost won the challenge and I did take that into account, but is that enough to make up for you having the blandest photo this week? Nadine, you are here for quite the opposite reason. Your photo was amazing, definitely a standout, but a standout for the wrong reason...had your hand been moved just a couple inches, you would have been called at the top of the pack, but in such a cut-throat competition, those little things really cost you. So who stays? *flips photo* I'm sorry, but both of you will be packing your bags...BECAUSE WE ARE ALL GOING ABROAD!!! Neither of you are actually going home this week, you're both staying in the second non-elimination of this cycle. Congratulations, go pack your bags and wait for the international destination be revealed.
