Right after the cycle aired I was really pro-Joanie, but I have seen Cycle 6 about 310831273 times (it is my favorite cycle and has had so many reruns) and after reflecting upon it, I do think Dani was the better choice. Joanie did have a very strong ANTM portfolio, but I think it's mainly because she is geared towards cheesy ANTM-style shoots rather than true editorials/ads. And overall I actually think Dani's and Joanie's portfolios were almost neck-and-neck, but then when you factor in Dani's stronger walk, higher potential, and strong in-person presence, I definitely think she was the better choice. And I think that Dani's post-show career has shown that she was a wiser choice. Plus Dani has my favorite personality of all the winners, she was hilarious! Though Joanie had a very sweet personality as well. This is a fabulous point and I totally agree with it. Looking at her portfolio post-show, it is not all that strong compared to the photos she took on the show. |

Yeah, Danielle had a reallyn strong portfolio, so when she won, I wasn't like, "Really?!?!" especially because her post show has been fantastic. Joanie's been working, but most of her shots were not the same Joanie that we saw on ANTM. It's a problem that I still have with people bitching about Nicole L winning her cycle over Nic. Nicole was, IMHO, the best choice (after Lisa), and her post show proves it.

Nik's portfolio overall was slightly better than Nicole's IMO, but Nicole's portfolio was still quite strong and when you factor in Nicole's significantly higher potential, stronger walk, and better presence, she was a better choice than Nik and post show she has proven it. Cycles 5-7 were all great in terms of their finales IMO, with the girls being placed how I personally would place them and with really close final 2's. |

Right, I was rooting for Joanie and MelRose, but 5-7 had so much potential. In fact, I think Cycle 6 had the strongest final three, and I would've been happy with any of the three of them. |
