Casting Deliberations
Lara: Alright Daphne, so we have 22 models to discuss, and only 12-13 who will actually be cast. So let's get it started
Lara: First up is Alessandra, and she's a bit old to just get started.
Daphne: I don't think she looks 32 though. One thing I really like looking at these two photos is how different they are, she looks like a tomboy in one and a bombshell in the other.
Lara: It reminds me of models like Candice and Adriana, who are bombshells but also transcend into high fashion, and I agree I could see Alessandra doing that.
Lara: She seems like a sweet girl, and I like tomboys. But she's just a maybe for me.
Daphne: In person I thought she was really beautiful, but I don't think these photographs really do her justice. She looks a bit older and not as fresh.
Lara: Agreed, these shots are good but don't do her any justice.
Daphne: But she's so beautiful in person! I think its the stylings fault honestly, at least in the casting shot.
Lara: Well she chose to dress like that so.
Lara: She's one of my favorites so far. When I was doing her beauty shot she knew her angles, and the result is stunning.
Daphne: I like the personality she gave in her casting shot, it's fun and fashionable. She does remind me of a certain someone.
Lara: With the blonde hair, gap, and those 32D's she's packing, I guess she is like a mini me. *laughs*
Daphne: Her look is definitely intense.
Lara: She's one of those models with a really intense look, but she seems to be able to control it really well. I just don't know how well it can transfer to the photoshoots.
Daphne: I don't think its necessarily true, and at least so far she's shown she has the talent to deliver good shots.
Daphne: I wasn't sure whether to feel threatened or to go "awww" during her interview.
Lara: Agreed. But, I think she has a good look and these are some nice shots.
Daphne: She looks beautiful, a little stiff, but with more time in front of the camera she might be able to loosen up. I like her.
Lara: Her eyebrows in that beauty shot are everything to me.
Daphne: I think her features are really youthful and cute. She's definitely one I really like right now.
Lara: Same here.
Lara: She's the opposite of Andreea to me, in person she doesn't look as fresh, but in these pictures she beats her by a mile.
Daphne: I think her look is mature but also classic. Margaux Hemingway was also a model, maybe that gene runs in the family?
Lara: Well she looks pretty good so far.

Daphne: I...cant stop staring.
Lara: Her beauty shot...its like its mesmerizing me *laughs*
Daphne: Everything from her look to name is just so quirky. I cant help but love her.
Lara: I know! Her look is just so interesting to me!
Daphne: She looks adorable.
Lara: She's another one with some quirky features. That being said, I don't think she totally knows what to do in front of camera. Im not a fan of either of these shots.
Daphne: I like her, and not just because she mentioned me. And I think she could develop well.
Lara: But there's other girls here who also have stronger potential than photos, but we cant let them all in.
Daphne: Looking at her casting shot, I definitely see the whole boutique, catalog thing she mentioned. But I love that she seems ready to explore the fashion world and do more than that.
Lara: She almost looks like a different person in the beauty shot, so raw, natural, and much more stunning.
Lara: This British boy thing is really becoming a thing each cycle. Oh well. Not that im complaining.
Daphne: He seems like he would be such a solid model, like he looks like he knows what hes doing in these two shots.
Lara: He definitely leans into one of the better ones so far.
Lara: Another member of my gap toothed clan.
Daphne: Her body is slamming. And her face is stunning, very feline.
Lara: Definitely a model.
Daphne: So confident!
Lara: She is not all that.
*long pause*
Lara: Okay I cant even hate she really is all that.
Daphne: She's a stunner, not loving the casting shot but her beauty shot came out great.
Lara: She reminds me of a mix of other models, like Marcelina Sowa, Imogen Morris Clarke, etc. I wonder if she can break out as her own.
Daphne: I think the competition would be able to help her do that...and also help get out of her shell a bit.
Lara: I think Lilly is really pretty and has such a sweet look. But I don't think she measures up to all of the other girls.
Daphne: When the competition and potential is so strong I think you need to do more than be pretty and I doubt whether she could do that.
Daphne: She was so confident! And not in a bitchy way either!
Lara: I am in love with this girl. I just love that she is so confident and it shows in her photos.
Daphne: I think its one thing to have good photos, another to have a good personality, but being able to translate that personality into your photos makes you really stand out and only a couple of girls have done that so far for me.
Lara: She's also really fucking pretty.
Lara: The problem I am having with Sarah is that she is literally giving the same expression in both shots. Her beauty shot literally looks like the close up of her casting shot.
Daphne: I don't think its bad at all, but you only have two photos to impress us and I was hoping to see more than the same face.
Lara: I actually do like her look a lot but neither of these are exciting photos.
Lara: She should never go back to brunette. Ever.
Daphne: I agree. With brown hair she looks like any other brunette model, but with the blonde she's like this whole other person!
Lara: She makes me think of some ethereal woodland elf. I mean she looks absolutely striking in that beauty shot.
Daphne: I hope her casting shot isn't indicative of what her posing is going to be like, because I have no idea whats going on in it.
Lara: That aside. This girl is stunning! Her beauty shot is striking, and she looks amazing in person.
Daphne: She is reminiscent of Iman, but a much fresher younger version.
Lara: She had literally the most boring interview.
Daphne: That face is the exact opposite though! She looks absolutely striking in the beauty shot.
Lara: Her modeling skills outshine her personality by far, and honestly, if she proves she can deliver amazing photos I wouldn't really care.
Lara: She really reminds me of Kasia from last cycle, they have similar looks.
Daphne: And Kasia came in second place too!
Lara: I think that for now she has a good chance, these are both strong solid photographs.
Daphne: Miss Tyra Banks herself!
Lara: She was definitely an unexpected applicant, but I really like her casting shot. And I like that shes ready to make a comeback.
Daphne: That being said there are a lot of really stunning, new faces that have applied, and with only limited spots Im not sure she would get one.
Lara: She's also competing against Alessandra, since theyre both the oldest of the group.
Daphne: Well, this looks like its going to be really hard, so goodluck Lara.
