I'm assuming everyone has caught the premiere episode?

I had both good and bad things about it

The Good:
-Jiana: She is my favorite female by far, her personality seems really fun and she is really beautiful.
-Marvin: He's my favorite out of the males, I like his look and he seems totally sweet.
-Chris H: Really socially awkward. But has arguably the best look out of all the male models.
-Kanani: Is actually really stunning in motion.
-Mike: He's a terrible model but seems to have a really nice personality.
-Cory: He's probably going to be so entertaining. Modeling potential aside, I hope he's the narrator of the cycle.
Renee: Even though her portfolio is really one note she is really, really beautiful.
Nina: She's like fun awkward, and has a great portfolio to boot so I like her so far.
-Delton: He was soooo attractive. I can't believe Tyra didn't cast him, so disappointing.
-Virgg: I know she quit because of her own health but still I would have loved for her to stay she would have made such a great addition to the cast.

The bad
-Jourdan: I actually thought she was sort of bland. Lookwise and personality wise. She photographs great and has arguably the best portfolio of the cycle, but she's not as interesting in motion and I snoozed during her confessionals.
-Chlea: Oh lord, I really don't like her look in motion.
-Chris S: He's shorter than I thought he would be.

The meh
-Alex: She's quite beautiful without all the make up but she does not shut up. But I guess she's not that bad actually.
-Don: He's totally full of himself but doesn't seem like a bad guy though.
-Jeremy: He's exactly how I expected him to be.


I think it's obvious that there is going to be a lot of thirst this cycle but I actually enjoyed the premiere. From an entertainment standpoint it's definitely going to be fun to watch I think.

Thoughts?

I feel pretty much the exact same way about, well, everyone! Jourdan reminds me a lot of someone I know but I can't put my finger on who yet so that is really bothering me. I agree about her overall though, and to quote what someone said to me in the strongest/weakest challenge in my game, "she's the type of girl who would be cast for a show but not to open/close; she's nobody's muse." She's great for an ANTM model because she fits the industry standards, but I expect her to be a filler model in terms of her career...a successful model, but not a star.

I actually liked Chlea a tiny bit in the premier. She is not modelesque whatsoever and has no potential and little talent, but her personality seemed sweet at least, though she did have kinda an annoying voice. Still, she's the first girl I would through out of the cast.

Oh, and Bianca is really beautiful! She reminds me of a mix of Arizona Muse, Renee Alway (C8), and London Levi (C12). Her body could use some work, especially around her midsection/hips, but overall she is pretty great for an ANTM girl and I am still confused as to how she is the first to go.

I was actually pretty happy with her winning. She wasn't my favorite by any means, but she does have some of the most potential of any of the winners so far. I do agree with the judges that she isn't quite distinguishable to make it huge, and I do think that her body could use a bit of toning, but overall I expect her to become one of the more successful winners/contestants. I also would have been fine with Marvin winning though, he has plenty of potential as well and a strong portfolio.

I actually preferred Jourdan over Marvin in the end, I haven't updated my signature to include her but she really grew on me as the weeks went by, she's really a model who transforms with make up and styling because in person she's sort of plain, but shes also a natural and deserved it, so congrats to her!

Bianca is now signed with Next models! Eliminating her first was such a bad decision IMO and I feel like this is a good indication that the judges screwed up on that one.

WOW! Some of those shots are gorgeous! I love the black and white tests with the striped shirt and leather jacket.
