Judging: Originami Beauty Shots I really love this shot Ali. You went for a very seductive look and it works. Your neck looks great and this angle is a different look for you. I love your lips and your eyes, the whole hooded eye thing is always tough because it be either really sensual or really sleepy and you made it the former. I think it's beautiful, well done. One thing that stuck out to me about this photo was how young you looked Lee! Your skin is just glowing, you look so fresh in this photo. You have good eye connection with the camera and had a good film as well, nothing necesarily sticks out to me as amazing but you did great. This is a very intense shot without actually being edgy, know what I mean? You have so much going on, the hair moving around like crazy, the intense red lip and the origimi flowers but none of it even fazes you. You are just staring right at the camera with so much life and power in those eyes, I could nitpick and say one looks a little uneven but thats it, I think you did extremely well. I struggled with your film, a lot of shots were very dark, eerie and creepy which is sort of the opposite of the whole "Origami" theme. This photo though really caught my attention and is your saving grace, I think it's so editorial and avant garde, and it's not too creepy, in fact your expression is actually quite soft and solemm, i'm not loving the mouth being open like that but I do like the image overall.

Judging: Candlelit Vigil Stunning. This is beautiful Ali. All I can say is face! Your face is the epitome of perfect in this shot, this angle is fantastic and your expression is flawless. Its ethereal and heavenly and it just really matches with the setting you were given. You didn't do a lot posewise but I think that worked out for you, the necklace and dress you had on were so perfect on you an extreme pose would have taken away from it I think. Well done Ali. This is soft, effortless and very maidenly. I love how you showed off the back of the dress and did without making your back look broad or weird. Your expression is serene but also a bit solem, like you are a ghost wandering around the candlelit path. You are missing your neck but overall you made this photo very enchanting and editorial Lee. You look like a goddess residing over her land Montana. It's so beautiful Montana. You had a really tough dress but you used it to your advantage and didn't let it overtake you, I love how you are letting the dress fly in the wind, you are showing off your legs and your expression is serene and angelic, I mean literally angelic especially with that headpiece you have going on. Well done. Ooooh, I really love this Tara. It's eerie but also enchanting at the same time. I absolutely love that sheer dress on you and how it outlines your body, the pose is commanding and you look tall and lean, and the face is stunning. I am so intrigued by your expression, I just want to know what you are looking at, which is fantastic because it draws the viewer in. Stunning photo Tara.

Expulsion Ceremony
Lara: Hello ladies. I want to start off by saying how proud I am to call you my final four, you have all been amazing competitors. I want to let it be known how hard and close everything was this week. That being said, the first name I will call is........
Montana! Shoot 1: 5+5=10 Photo: A, Beauty: A Shoot 2: 4.5+5=9.5 Photo: B+, Couture: B+
Congratulations Montana! You stepped it right back up this week and have earned the first spot in the final three!
Ali
Shoot 1: 4+5=9 Photo: B, Beauty: B Shoot 2: 5+5=10 Photo: A, Couture: A
Japan has been good to you Ali, it was so close between you and Montana for that first call out. Congrats!
Will Lee and Tara please step forward? It feels that as the weeks go by this just gets more and more grueling. Lee, you did great this week. Both of these shots are usable and well executed, however the problem is that all of these girls took amazing photos which outshined yours. Tara, I have no doubt you are a versatile model, but this week it seemed like you went into both shoots with the same mindset of "dark" and "eerie" and it made going through your film dull and repetitive, even though your final products were good. So who stays?
Tara (3.2) Shoot 1: 3.5+5=8.5 Photo: C+, Beauty: C+ Shoot 2: 5+5=10 Photo: A, Couture: A
Do you see this photo? *points to her candlelight photo* That is STUH-NING. The best shot out of the week, but you see this *points to her origami photo* this brought you down. The finale is going to be filled with multiple tasks and you have to ace them all because these girls are not going to give you a break. Congratulations Tara, you are joining Montana and Ali in the finale.
Lee (3.0) Shoot 1: 3.5+5=8.5 Shoot 2: 4+5=9
*hugs her with a bittersweet smile* I know, that you know, that I think you are AH-MA-ZING, talented and everything a model should be. No one can sell things in a photo like you can, people go broke just staring at your photos. *laughs then tears up a bit* But the thing is it's so incredibly tight right now. And you delivered great photos but these girls, they took it to a new level. I don't want you to go home thinking you did bad, because you didn't. I want you to go out there and slay. I am sorry Lee, but you have been expelled. You may say goodbye to the others. *hugs her one more time*

Lee: *tears up* I understand. Thank you so much for the opportunity Lara, it really meant a lot. *hugs her* *hugs the other competitors* *stops at Tara* You and I have had some drama I know, but I want to leave leave here on a high note and put the past behind us. *goes to hug her* Tara: Eww, get away! SECURITY! SHE'S ATTACKING ME!!! Lee: Ummm...nevermind then...well, goodbye everybody! *exit confessional* It does suck to be going home when I was so close to the prizes, but I wasn't terribly surprised, especially when I was in the bottom two against Tara. I am very proud of how far I made it though. I would love to have won, but fourth place is not bad at all and I would not change a single thing I did. This might be the end for me here, but I will never give up on modeling. Tara: *in confessional* Oh my god, that crazy bitch Lee was so totally jealous that I stayed instead of her so she attacked me at panel and I almost died, but luckily I'm stronger than her and I was able to throw her off. It was so scary though, and security didn't even show up to save me...I think it was a plot of Lara's. I mean obviously the whole reason she put me in the bottom two is because she is intimidated by me, but she knows that eliminating me would just be unbelievable and crazy so she plotted with Lee to kill me so that way I would be out of the competition before she would have to crown me as the winner. Well, I am going to have to stay very vigilant and sleep with one eye open from now on because I plan on surviving the finale, both literally and figuratively.

Finale Tasks
*The final three are all transported to the set of their next photoshoot where they are greeted by Lara and Paul Marciano*
Lara: Hello ladies! I am sure you all remember Paul from the go-see with Guess. *the girls look excited but nervous* And I am sure you know what that means, this week you will be shooting your ad campaigns for Guess!
Paul: We will be shooting them in the classic black and white GUESS style. A Guess girl is confident, beautiful and knows how to use her sex appeal. That's what we expect to see in our ads. The photographer will be shooting you from different angles (full body, waist/chest up) and we want you to embody what it means to be a Guess girl and of course, sell the product.
Lara: But that's not all we will be doing. As you know we have our photoshoot for Tom Ford cosmetics. This is about glamour, sex appeal, but also sophistication all wrapped up into one. We are on the 8th cycle so I already expect you girls to know what is expected of you.
After that we will be shooting your covers of Interview Magazine. You will each have your own personal photographer with you and have free range over set and styling as long as it fits Interviews aesthetic.
Lara: At this point there will be a cut from the final three to the final two.
*the girls look nervous*
Lara: The final two girls will then stomp it out in a Guess runway show and after that only one girl will be declared the winner. Goodluck ladies!
Optional Photoshoot: Since there is no commercial grade for the finale I am giving you all the option of sending in a commercial photo if you want to raise your grade. This will not be considered part of your portfolio, it will only be used to raise your grade. It will not lower it. You can also only send in ONE frame.

Judging: Optional Shoot I will be giving brief judging on these photos. Stunning. You are embracing the male model and looking cute and commercial while still showing off your neck and selling the clothes. Commercial: A Fantastic. You sell the pants, the top, the hat and the shoes all while looking super fun and adorable. One of your best commercial shots. Commercial: A Since these wont count as finale tasks I will be adding these grades in right now. The rest of the finale will be done either later tonight or tomorrow morning, as I have to rush to work.

Judging: GUESS *The final three enter the judging room where Lara and Paul greet them* Lara: Hello ladies, so this week both Paul and I will be judging you seeing as this Guess shoot is one of the most important of the cycle. So first up is Ali. Paul: I was floored by your performance Ali. You clearly have what it takes be a Guess girl. Lara: There was so much to choose from in your film and any of it would have been perfect. You look effortless, sexy, sensual, confident, and the styling is 100% Guess. Paul: If you end up winning Ali, I would also be more than happy to use other shots from your film for your campaign, because you nailed it. Lara: That is quite the compliment, you really worked it out at this shoot. Paul: This reminds me of the more old-school Guess ads, and I quite like it Montana. Lara: I have to agree with Paul, though I was expecting you to blow this out of the park and I don't think you did that. I do love your face here, its sensual but also soft and sort of mysterious. Paul: Your posing is also great and I would be willing to use this as a campaign. Lara: It's a bit on the edgier side isn't it? You had a more sexy shot in your film but we went against that. Paul: And this is why. We do occasionally do an edgier look, our ads with Drew Barrymore for example. And that's what this photo reminds me of. I think you completely captured that confidence and effortlessness of a Guess girl, that male model in the background doesn't even come close to you. Lara: The styling is really the only thing that throws it off, but like Paul, it's reminiscent of the Drew Barrymore ads so its still definitely very usable.

Judging: Tom Ford (I decided to allow eyewear) Lara: Now that we finished with Guess I will be judging you in these next two shoots. Ali, you started off trying to do the cosmetics part and it honestly did not work for you, but the minute you put on those shades you nailed it. I could so see Tom Ford using this, the sunglasses look amazing and you have this whole messy but still glamorous styling going on. Which is very much like him, his eyewear ads are usually a lot more quirky and edgy. Well done! You also tried doing the eyewear part like Ali, but you sort of missed the mark with it so I went with your cosmetics photo. Which is still quite beautiful. It's glamorous, sexy, and you are selling me that lipstick, your eyes have such an amazing connection with the camera too. Overall really well done Montana. I feel like this really fits Tom Ford, it sort of reminds me of the eyewear ads he did with Freja Beha Erichson, it's edgy but also very high end and glamorous. The sunglasses look spectacular, like beyond amazing. I want them. I love how I can also see your eyes through them a bit and they are so intense! I do think your lips and jaw are a little tight and tense, but that's really minor!

Judging: Interview Covers I really like this photo Ali. It's a good, solid cover shot. I love your hair, the styling, how you are interacting with the lion. You are holding it like a prop not an animal which while it may seem a bit cruel, makes it fashion. Your bone structure is just to die for and I love your eyes, I just wish you had relaxed that mouth a bit. The problem I had with your film was that nothing screams cover to me. I saw each shot as part of a beautifully done editorial but not a cover photo. I think you look really stunning here but if you had eye contact it would have been perfect! For a cover that is. Overall well done but you might have to re-shoot it if you win. By far my favorite cover shot of the bunch. You really understood the client Tara, Interview loves to take the most random and edgy things and make it into fashion and thats exactly what you did. I love the whole "boxing" theme and how you are wearing the gloves like a necklace, and your face is stunning! You have so much intensity in those eyes, your expression reminds me of those really intense close up covers they do. I'm very impressed.

Oh, we could use eyewear photos too? Would either of these two shots make a difference, or is it too late/not worth it anyway?
