I loved the latest episode. I totally agreed on Karolina's team winning, her shot was by far the best. I really liked Aleksandra though and would have probably kept her over Stephanie, just because I thought Stephanie's photo was dreadful. Her lack of experience is really holding her back. At the moment I adore Madeleine, Margaux, Ebony, Devyn, Christy and Jocelyn. Basically all of Karolina's team. I was disapointed with Zi Lin, she did pretty bad this episode.

I really enjoyed the latest episode as well. Karolina's team crushed the others' IMO, that pic was the only one that I even really liked. Coco's was too theatrical and dancy, and Naomi's just didn't come together as well as I would have liked. As for the elimination, I'm torn...I liked Aleksandra, but I also like Stephanie and while I do think Stephanie did worse, I don't necessarily think it was all her fault since that was a really difficult direction for your first photoshoot ever. And at least Stephanie was trying and listening, while Aleksandra was ignoring the criticism and making excuses.
I am beginning to wonder if Stephanie would have been better off on Karolina or Naomi's team though; Coco is so dramatic and imaginative that I feel like a complete newcomer could easily drown in her theatrics, whereas I feel Naomi would still be forceful but at least more wise and guiding for Stephanie and Karolina would be very open and instructive and let Stephanie settle in better. Coco is definitely the best coach for the experienced, daring models like Margaux though.
Overall I'm really enjoying the show though. I like how we get to see more of the judges and how they don't play everything off as sparkles and rainbows like ANTM does. They are real and more raw in way, like how Naomi didn't bother to hide her little freak out.

I'm actually really enjoying this show as well! I like the panel, Coco and Karolina are much more relevant than Janice Dickens or Twiggy IMO, although icons in the fashion industry, this panel is much more current. I liked Stephanie at first, how she was quirky and inexperienced, however I'm starting to get really annoyed by her. I LOVED Aleksandra, although her first campaign photo was underwhelming, I think her photo surpassed Stephanie's BY FAR, and honestly it's starting to seem like they are playing stephanie up wayyyy too much. The editing about her is annoying, and the fact that everyone just keeps emphasizing that shes "new" is getting old. Yes, she's new, and is learning, however she needs to go home and come back for a later season. The show isn't the time to learn, and girls who are much more experienced are being sent home over her.
I'm loving the challenges, and the campaigns however and think this show is something new from ANTM!

I like how they do campaigns every week because this really allows the girls to get an idea of the business while getting their names out there in the process. ANTM just does campy shoots that cannot be used by the girls after the show in their books or anything. I do feel like the winning team this week should have been Karolina's once again however. I felt like Naomi's team looked really awkward and took a lot of direction to deliver a usable product. Though Christy did fuck it up for her team by going sexy instead of conservative, he still looked great in the commercial as did everyone else in their commercial. I felt Ebony should have been commended for changing it up and switching mid-shoot in order to make sure the team met the requirements of having the three looks in the commercial. Cocos team was just okay once again. Marlee was good, Stephanie brought them down again, Margaux killed it again, and Brittany did well. I didn't see much in Brittany at the beginning of the competition, but she has been one if the stronger ones overall. Overall, I would have ha Karolina's team win with Naomi sending Sandra into elimination while Coco sends Stephanie. I would want Karolina to send home Sandra because she is easily the most unprofessional girl in the competition and Stephanie did improve this week.

The only thing that I slightly disagree with is Marlee; I think she was probably the weakest for Team Coco this week because she really didn't do anything and her performance wasn't memorable, yet overall I feel like she has a rather sexy look so lingerie should have been her thing. Stephanie wasn't too great in the commercial, but she improved and played her character just fine so I would commend her for that and send Marlee into elimination. I totally agree that Ebony should have been commended for taking one for the team rather than reprimanded for looking confused, but I was glad that Kristy was sent into the bottom in the end because it was her decision that threw the commercial off kilter. As for her elimination, I'm torn; her performance and body are better than Stephanie's, but she doesn't have a particularly modelesque or unique look while Stephanie is basically the epitome of a fresh face. I would definitely send Sandra home though; she's makes things more exciting with her drama, but she has had mediocre performances overall, her challenge was a mess, and she really is quite unprofessional. And had Karolina's team won like they deserved to, I feel that Sandra might have been sent home for her unprofessionalism. |

I basically agree with you both. I think what saved Naomi's team was the pillowfight scene, and Jocelyn's performance. She nailed sexy. Though I do think Karolina's team did the best overall on set and should be rewarded for that. Coco's was a bit boring. I actually thought Stephanie did pretty good on set so I was surprised at her final product.
As for the elimination I don't mind at all, since she basically screwed over her team and I think that stopped them from possibly winning the challenge. But if KK's team had won I would have eliminated Sandra. I don't dislike her as a model but her behavior was really annoying.
On another note, I was so glad Madeleine won the challenge. She totally rocked it and is personally my favorite at the moment, followed by Ebony, and I don't know if im the only one, but she looked so beautiful in the commercial I couldn't stop staring.

Oh yeah, I agree about Madeleine winning the challenge, she totally deserved it. I also would have been perfectly fine with Margaux, Ebony, or Devyn winning the challenge though, all of those ladies did very well.
And I do agree about Jocelyn being the saving grace of Naomi's commercial, she totally nailed it in every aspect. Zi Lin was very cute and didn't do poorly, but she was one-note and you could see her pageant-ness bleed through. Sandra wasn't bad, but she was the worst for me, some of her movements weren't as fluid and she looked kinda forced at times.
But I do think the whole mix up because of Kristy is exactly what caused Karolina the win, so her elimination was justified mostly based on that for me too. I wish that Ebony had gotten to do sexy as planned though, I agree that she already looked gorgeous in the commercial so had she been able to perform her given part then I think she would have been even better.

I think Naomi saving Stephanie was party out of spite and also playing it smart, since she was clearly less competition. I don't mind with Christy but hopefully that wont happen to some of the better girls.

Totally agree, I wish Kristy had been directly reprimanded for her actions, but Karolina is no fool so that definitely played into her decision. Actually, I think Karolina is my favorite judge; she is very fair and attentive, honest yet kind, and seems genuinely interested in and committed to her models and the competition. Plus she has the best girls all around IMO. I was thinking the same about Naomi for the most part. I'd say it was mostly spite and competitive cleverness that made Naomi choose Stephanie, but at the same time I also feel like Stephanie's freshness and story played a part in the decision too. But at this point, the only other girls I wouldn't mind seeing go home before Stephanie (if she doesn't improve dramatically) would be Sandra, Brittany, and Marlee. |

I watched it and overall, I completely agree with Naomi's team winning because they had no slip ups and Zi Lin totally killed it. In the elimination, I was so happy when Naomi said that the girls trying to create sob stories was bull and that wasn't going to affect her decision. That's what we need on ANTM. The back stories should not matter at all.

Overall Naomi's team did deserve to win I would say as well, all of them did fine and Zi Lin totally killed it, she was the star of the show IMO. Though Stephanie was also surprisingly great, based on casting week and this latest week it seems that she is a natural on the runway, which is good because she has the fresh look that is popular on the runways now.
I also loved elimination this week, partially because I agreed with Naomi's decision but also because of how she made her decision. I loved that she bluntly put that she and now other serious fashion clients care about sob stories and that they rather care about talent, potential, and work ethic, which Tyra needs to take note of. I'll add that to the list of many reasons why this show is putting ANTM to shame. I was also very glad that Ebony stayed, I think she has far more potential and is so much more beautiful than Brittany, and I think she did better on the runway as well, Brittany did look a bit foolish out there to me, she way overdid it.
As for Marlee quitting, I felt bad for her since it's an unfortunate situation to be in, but I agreed with her decision and I'm glad Coco did too because family really should come first. And to be honest, Marlee hasn't been impressing me anyway and it's pretty clear that she wasn't going to win, so I wasn't really torn up about her leaving.
