Judging
Carmen: Welcome to your first judging panel, girls. For your first photoshoot, you all portrayed political issues.
Anabela: What I like about this photo is that it has more of a gloomy and somber mood. The dress is amazing on you, but the face is just lifeless and asleep. Had your expression been more of concern and desperation, this could have been spectacular.
Barbara: I love your look, but I was left pretty disappointed by this photo. It looks like a still out of a movie, you don't look very modelesque, and the male model outshines you.
Constance: This was the strongest shot in your film, though it does stray away from the theme I was going for this week a bit. You look like a scandalous diva in a position of power who is so far above the reporters and paparazzi. You really nailed your character.
Fatima: This is such a powerful photo because of the emotion coming through. You look hopeless but beautiful at the same time.
Georgina: I like how this photo is Mad Men inspired, and overall I think you did a decent job. It's not completely clear which one of you is abusing their power, but I see frustration and tension in your expression and your body language.
Josefine: Adore the pose and how the dress flows in the wind. There is a calmess and serenity that matches so well with your setting. The face could have left more of an impression, but overall it's a strong shot.
Karmen: I actually really like this. The pose is simple yet strong, and I can see the emotion and struggle of living in poverty in your expression even though it's a lot more subtle than Fatima's. You also stand out the most amonst all the other people, which is a plus.
Liya: You had a lot of strong shots to choose from, but the boldness of this really stood out. The face is nothing short of ferocious and powerful, and it's almost as if you have an obsession with the fur. It's very fashionable while still managing to make a very bold statement.
Miranda: If this isn't making a statement, I don't know what is. The way you are holding your stomach sends such a powerful message, and the face just adds to the emotional effect. You are looking down at your belly as if to show that you love the life inside and it is really a beautiful photo.
Nicole: You look so classically beautiful, and you show your stance on being anti-fur both by being topless and by interacting with the horse. I don't love the pose, but the face is stunning.
Nimue: I was pretty underwhelmed by your film, but I appreciate the risk you took here. My eye goes to the other model first, but you are much more impressive than her in the shot. I love the strength of your expression. It's very bold and works well to show your issue.
Ollie: This photo is so romantic and interesting. The interaction between the two of you is great and you also outshine the other model. The story being told is great.
Riquelle: This photo is simple, but it works really well. You look like you're on the alert that you're being secretly watched, not to mention you look absolutely stunning. Your face really sells it here.
Rosie T: Your face is so gorgeous here. It's very soft, angelic, and innocent which is perfect for your theme. You and the male model are harmlessly cuddling, and the image as a whole is lovely.
Rosie H: This is phenomenal, Rosie. I definitely didn't expect something like this from you. The emotion is so real and raw, and it's one of those shots that really leaves an impact.
Sigrid: I like how you're interacting with the branches and not just relying on the setting by itself to get the point across. The pose and the face work well together and you look as though you're one with nature.
