Critiques
Agnete: I wish that you didn't hide your gorgeous face in your casting shot! This was really your chance to show it off, and you didn't take advantage of that. Your impressive shot is good, but for me, I think it is a little too pretty and safe.
Alice: You are so tall, I just adore your height. Your casting shot shows off how gorgeous you are, but the pose is very amateur looking. Your impressive shot is nice, but it would have been a lot strong if you had more neck.
Anna S.: Your casting shot is bad. Your pose looks so amateur, the face does not work, and your right leg looks awkward. Your impressive shot definitely has the drama I was looking for, but looking at your expression, it's dead, there is nothing coming from within you which means you are resting on pretty.
Anna R.: I like your pose in your casting shot, but the face is very bland. And then in your impressive shot, the face is gorgeous but the pose isn't as strong, and you look rather short. I'm wondering if you can nail a strong pose and strong face in one shot.
Bianca: Your casting shot is very strong. It would have been nice had you not worn the jacket in order to make it a little more simple, but it is still very beautiful. Your impressive shot is great. Your lips are definitely my favorite part of the shot, they are just insane!
Diandra: Your casting shot is phenominal. Your pose is gorgeous, your expression is stunning, and it really makes a statement. Your impressive shot is also beautiful. It is very artistic, it actually looks much more like a painting then a photograph which I just love.
Dioni: I'm not really loving your casting shot. The pose looks weird, you look short, and the face has a huge question mark behind it. Your impressive shot however is amazing, which does make it a little confusing how you can take such a strong and such a weak shot in the same day.
Du: Wow, I had no idea you were 29! Well, you certainly don't look it! Your casting shot is good, but the arms and open mouth don't really work. Your impressive shot though is gorgeous, it is perfection.
Eugena: I can see what you were going for with your impressive shot, but it wasn't executed properly. Your left arm looks incredible awkward and the angle that your body is at doesn't really work. While your impressive shot is beautiful, it doesn't quite give me the impact I was looking for.
Fo: Your casting shot is alright, your face is beautiful but you do look short. And even though you are one of the shortest girls in the bunch, I don't want to see it in your photos. But your impressive shot is gorgeous, there is a lot of emotion and I love how the light is hitting your face.
Gemma: I find your casting shot disappointing. You look short, the arms are place awkwardly, and the face looks off. Your impressive shot has all the right elements, but your expression has a hint of uncertainty which is not good.
Gertrud: Young and tall, a great combination! Your casting shot is good, but your impressive shot is great. It is very haunting and you managed to shine even with all that hair in front of your face.
Josefine: I like both of your shots, but I don't necessarily love either of them. There is something just a little bit too pretty about both of them, I don't see any true edge which is a little disappointing.
Josephine: I don't like your casting shot. You have a beautiful body and I can see what you were going for, but it just did not work in the final photo. Your impressive shot I feel is rather safe, I find it boring actually.
Lindsey: You are young, tall, and fresh which is some of the most important things a model can have. Your casting shot is beautiful, but it would have been nice had I seen more of your eyes. And your impressive shot? Incredible.
Mikaela: For your casting shot, the post is nice, but you are photographing short here which I am surprised about because you are a tall girl. The face also lacks life which I am not happy about. Your impressive shot though is beautiful. The way you stretched your arms up and your face is just gorgeous.
Raquel: You are one of the oldest girls in the bunch, but looking at both of your photos, I can not tell. Your casting shot is gorgeous, but your impressive shot is just good. I wish maybe you had a little more squint and a little more neck.
Roza: I like the face, I like the body, but the two don't really work together. And while I like what you were going for with your casting shot, I don't think that the face is working in this photo.
Sarah: When I look at your casting shot, I just see a pretty girl, there isn't really anything modelesque about it. Your impressive shot is nice, but I feel that there is a lack of commitment, meaning that I don't feel you really going for it.
Saskia: You definitely were very bold posing nude, and I actually think that it works. Your legs and body look amazing, but your shoulders and neck are really awkward. Your impressive shot is fabulous, the intensity in your face and the relaxed pose look just amazing.
Siri: I like the movement, but your face brings down the shot. It looks like you are about to sneeze or something. Your impressive shot though is gorgeous. Your body looks amazing and I love what you are doing with your face.
Stella: Your casting shot is fabulous. It is so simple, but you brought so much edge which is so hard to do. But your impressive shot is actually not as good as your casting shot which I think it not good. You look very short and the arms look awkward.
Tanya: This is your third time trying out for this competition, which shows that you do have passion. Your casting shot though is bad. Your pose is beyond amateur, and the styling is horrid. However, your impressive shot is gorgeous. It is simple, but it leaves a strong impact.
Toccara: I love that you are plus-sized, first of all. Your casting shot is pretty, but it does not say model. Your impressive shot though is absolutely stunning, you look incredible expensive and rich which is amazing.
Viktoriya: Your casting is phenominal, as well as your impressive shot! Both of these shots are exactly what I was looking for, and even though they are both different, you nailed each one of them.
Yoanna: Your casting shot is gorgeous. You have the perfect height, and it shows. And your impressive shot? Fabulous, just fabulous. |

The 13 Finalists
Karlie-Well ladies, I have come to a decision. After reviewing each one of your applications I have decided which thirteen of you will be moving into your Los Angeles apartment. Now the thirteen girls that make it into the house are the thirteen girls who scored the highest on their application. Karlie MailCongratulations final thirteen! This week for your photoshoot, I thought it might be interesting to have a book reference. The Great Gatsby is your reference this week, and you all will be styled in 1920's vintage clothing, posing at a train station in groups. CritiquesBianca & GertrudBianca: Perfection! There is such strength without it looking too harsh. I love the crossed arms, and your bone structure looks absolutely amazing here. 10/10 Gertrud: This is actually quite nice, Gertrud. I love how you worked that jacket, and I really like how you can only see one eye in order to give it a little bit of mystery. 10/10 Du & ViktoriyaDu: I like this photo, but like a lot of the other girls, I don't get a strong impact when I look at this. You look beautiful, but I just wish there was more. 9/10 Viktoriya: The only problem I have is that your body looks a little squished which makes you look a little short. But I love the power in your face. 8.5/10 Diandra & Yoanna & JosefineDiandra: You look gorgeous. I like the androgyny of the shot, but you also kept it soft which is interesting. Your face looks beautiful and I think it is a nice shot. 9/10 Josefine: This is very nice. I think that your face looks amazing and I like how you crossed your feet. Your body could have used more of a curve in it because the dress kind of hides your figure. 8.5/10 Yoanna: I like the body, I like the face, but it doesn't have that WOW factor. I wish maybe you really committed to the pose, because it is a little too pretty. 8/10 Lindsey & Alice & FoLindsey: This is a good shot, but it is a little flat. You aren't really standing out enough. I like the emotion, the pose is nice, but it doesn't have that wow factor. 8/10 Fo: This is gorgeous. I love the face, and I love that you are telling a story. 10/10 Alice: I think you look beautiful. You look so tall, and the face is very graceful. You look very simple, but it does stand out. 10/10 Raquel & Mikaela & SaskiaRaquel: I actually like the awkwardness of the arms, but the way your legs are pointing to the left while your torso is straight-on. I think that you do need a little practice with your angles. 8.5/10 Saskia: Aside from your neck, this is a beautiful shot. Your face is so powerful and I just love the pose. 9.5/10 Mikaela: I think that your body is a little squished. If you had lowered your legs and showed off more of your torso, it would have been a much stronger shot. 8/10 |
