Critiques [/size] Allison: The pose works, but something about the concept and styling just doesn't quite fit. I love your legs and I love what you are doing with your face, but hot dogs? That's just not so great. 8.5/10 Anna: It's definitely a beautiful photo, but does it work for Seventeen? Not quite. It's a bit too elegant and sophisticated, and your face doesn't have that brightness that I really wanted. It's not bad, but you did not keep the client in mind. 7/10 Arizona: Even though you are smiling, it is still too edgy. The hair, make-up and styling are just too much, it would have been so much better had you kept it on the simple side. 7/10 Caroline: I like the naturalness of this shot, but your eyes are not quite there. There just isn't enough life behind that and because of that, it looks a bit dead. But I do like how beautiful your features look. 8/10 Daniela: This is very cute. You look very young, and there is something cute about your pose. It's a little unusual, but in the end, it works. 9/10 Danni: You had a lot of energy which is fantastic. The pose is adorable, but your expression is a bit too over-the-top, it would have been nice had you maintained a little bit more simplicity with your smile. 9/10 Fatima: Can you take a bad photo? This is beyond gorgeous. Your smile is so genuine and it looks like something you would see in Seventeen Magazine. 10/10 Freja: This is really cute. It's maybe a little more elegant then I would have preferred, but your expression is what really makes this work. 8.5/10 Jourdan: You're looking a bit old here, Jourdan. That other model not only stands out more, but she looks better too. I like that you are smiling from within, but you look like you are in your thirties which is not good. 7.5/10 Karmen: Your film was disappointing. There was nothing that really fit Seventeen, and the shots where you were smiling were way too forced and stiff. This photo is pretty, but your expression is SO blank which is a shame. 6/10 Kelsey: I hate the styling, but I like what you are doing. The quirky pose and expression works very well, and there is just something so cute about this shot. Too bad you got stuck with such hideous styling. 8.5/10 Lisa: Girl, you rocked it! I totally did not expect you to be this amazing with this task, but you blew me away. This shot is fantastic, a little secretive and reserved, but still commercial and cute. 10/10 Montana: The only problem I have is your neck. It looks so short and the way part of it is sticking out is very uncomfortable to look at. But your pose is beautiful and I love the expression. 8/10[/center] |

Karlie MailHello final 12! This week, you will be doing a photoshoot in pairs, and the whole theme is androgyny. You will be posing in the streets of Los Angeles, and I want to see a lot of masculinity, but it still needs to be modelesque. The pairs are Allison & Kelsey, Daniela & Lisa, Montana & Danni, Freja & Jourdan, Anna & Fatima, Caroline & Arizona. Another thing is that TWO of you will be going home this week. So I expect very strong results from you girls this week. |
