Well this is it. This is the final judging panel before we determine who will become America's Next Top Model. Whoever is announced the winner tonight will walk away with some fabulous prizes: A contract with Revlon, a fashion spread in Marie Claire, and a contract with one of the world's top agencies Wilhelmina Models. Last night you girls walked in a fashion show for Baby Phat and let me just say that both of you did a spectacular job. If you didn't hear me I was screaming both of your names out there. I'm just so proud of how far you've progressed not only as models but also as women. Well we critiqued your walks along with the rest of your portfolio and have determined the winner. But before we announce that I have a few words for you girls. Adrianne- During casting week, when you girls were auditioning to be on the show, I wrote notes evaluating every single girl. As soon as you walked into the room I wrote, "NO! NO! JUST NO!" I thought you were one of the worst girls there but the other judges saw hidden potential and elected to keep you. I'm so glad they did. Adrianne, while you may not have the most potential, you make it up with your photos. Your portfolio is the most versatile this cycle and that is very commendable. You know how to go from sexy to high fashion, to commercial and that's what a top model does. However, you do need to make sure not to go overboard and lose your model, like you did in the WonderBra shoot. I know that you want this so much and last night you rocked it on the runway. Will you become our first winner? Elyse- Soon as I first laid eyes on you, I wanted you in this competition. You are just a high fashion designer's dream. You're tall, skinny, and full of potential. You have a better portfolio than Adrianne but it's not as versatile. We look at them and see a high fashion model but not necessarily a top model. Top models are versatile and that's something we worry about you. However, most of those doubts were wiped away last night. You killed it on the runway. You were the perfect combination of sexy and edgy and you fit in with the working models there. It was just mind blowingly good. One problem that we have with you is how much you want this. Early in the competition some judges feared if you would pick being a doctor over a model. Have these fears been erased? Will you become America's Next Top Model? Both of you girls have come such a long way, but there can only be one. America's Next Top Model is...  Elyse! *hugs Adrianne* Adrianne if I could pick two winners I honestly would. You are just so gorgeous and I know that you will get signed. You have the passion and dedication needed for this industry. All you need to do is become a little more polished and I think you could take this modeling world by a storm. You may have lost, but it's not the end of the road and I hope you know that. Sorry Adrianne but you are not America's Next Top Model. Your final score was 25. *she exits* Elyse you started off the competition in the middle of the pack, but these last few weeks you've really stepped it up! You're potential is undeniable and last night's runway is what really set you apart from Adrianne. You were just fabulous in those designs. You will be in an ad campaign for Revlon, a spread for Marie-Claire, and be signed with Wilhelmina Models. This is only the beginning to what I hope is a long and successful modelling career. After 9 grueling weeks and 9 heartbreaking eliminations you are the winner! Congratulations! Your final score was 65!         |
