Judging
Carmen: Hi girls, and welcome to your 6th judging. This week you had a photoshoot at the circus. Let's see how you all did.
Adriana: It does look like you two could be conjoined, and even though the other model is making eye contact, I'm more drawn in to you. Your face handles the makeup so well and your expression is very strong. I'm really impressed to see an edgier side from you. Anne: This definitely screams contortionist. It must have been really difficult to pull off this pose, but you made it look effortless and I love the elongation of your limbs. I wish you hadn't completely lost your neck, but that's the only fault. Ashley: You had a lot of great shots in your film, but this one really stood out to me. It's such a high fashion couture take on a clown. The pose reminds me of a marionette doll and you sell the garment really well. Edita: You look like a sad clown, but you make it so stunning and editorial. You work well with the shadows and I like the somberness of your expression. Isabeli: It's a good photo, but I'm not blown away by it. I feel like the styling is doing most of the work and the expression doesn't work that well with it. It almost looks like you're dumbfounded. Karlie: I wish it was more obvious that you were portraying a cannibal. You do look wrathful, though, and it's believable that you could devour someone, but I just wish it was more obvious. Meghan: Portraying a bearded lady could easily come off looking like a hot mess, but you pulled it off. There is intense emotion as though you are feeling the anguish of being an outcast. Sasha: You had a lot of shots in your film that were just perfect, so it was really hard to pick one. The styling and set is dead on. You were posing in such a limited space, but you really made it work. I love how you are selling the shoes and accessories, and overall I'm really impressed. Toni: This is gorgeous, Toni. I like that you posed with your brother because you two already look so much alike. Your eyes are captivating and your bone structure looks stunning here. |

ELIMINATIONCarmen: 9 beautiful girls stand before me but I only have 8 photos in my hand. Photo of the week goes to...... *flips photo*Sasha! Congrats! Meghan! Anne! Edita! Ashley! Toni! Adriana! You did great, so don't worry about being called a little low. Would Karlie and Isabeli please step forward? Karlie, your photo was good, but you could have taken cannibal a lot farther and made it more obvious. Isabeli, I felt that the styling overtook you in your photo and I wasn't very impressed. You both have had fairly strong histories, but one of you has a bit more potential..... Karlie, congratulations. You were only really here because someone had to be. You're still in the running towards becoming a Top Model. *hugs Isabeli* You are so beautiful and you have taken some really stunning photos, but this week you fell to the bottom, and I felt that Karlie was just slightly stronger than you overall. I'm sorry but this is the end of the road for you. |

While we're still in California, it only makes sense to do a shoot at the beach! I want to see sexy but commercial swimwear, and beachwear in general is also acceptable. Good luck! |

Judging
Carmen: Hi, girls and welcome to yet another week of judging. After tonight's cut, we'll be down to just 7 of you, which means we'll be exactly halfway through the competition. This week you girls had to shoot in sexy swimwear on the beach. Let's see how that went for you. Adriana: You look very exotic and your body is just flawless. The swimsuit looks amazing on you, though you could have gone without having your thumbs in the sides of the bottom. I like how you are looking to the side, but your eyes are way too squinty. Anne: It's very laid-back Cali girl, and I love that. The pose is elegant and sexy and you are modeling from head to toe. You have great legs and I like how the pose flaunts them. You are giving neck as well, and the angle of your face is lovely. Ashley: You look gorgeous as always here. Your body language evokes a subtle sexiness while your face combines feminiminy and a slight edge. Your eyes are engaging and mesmerizing. I wish this shot was a little more commercial, but it's still quite impressive. Edita: This is exactly the type of shot I wanted to see this week. Sexy and commercial. Your body looks fantastic, but the arms are kind of awkward. The face is nice, but it doesn't really leave an impact. Karlie: I wasn't sure about this shot at first, but it grew on me. Your eyes are very alluring and the wind in the hair adds more sex appeal. I love the coyness of the pose and the little booty tooch. Everything comes together pretty nicely. Meghan: The pose works really well, but the styling, especially the glasses and the hair throw it off. I'm not sure that you can work in the swimwear market. There isn't much more I can say about it. Sasha: You aren't the stand out model in this shoot, but you still look good. Even with the sunglasses, the face is strong and pushes through. It kind of looks like you're walking the runway and I would have liked to have seen you giving more movement like the other models are doing. Toni:I love how relaxed and sensual the pose is, and oh my gosh, those legs. They go on for days. The face is pretty, but could use more energy. |

Meghan, you've improved a lot, but I notice that you only seem to excel at the more high fashion shoots. I'm still questioning your versatility. So who stays? Ashley, congratulations. It's cliche, but you were here because someone needed to be. You're still in the running towards becoming a Top Model. *hugs Meghan* Miss Meghan, you have a stellar look but I feel like high fashion and editorial is where your niche is at. I wish you success. Hey final 7! After this week's elimination, 6 of you will be traveling overseas, so the stakes are very high this week. Your photoshoot is to impress me as much as possible in one frame. In addition to your shoot, I want each of you to tell me (in PM) the two girls you think are most deserving to make the final 6 and the two girls you think are least deserving and why. You may not include yourself for either part. This will be taken into heavy consideration during eliminations. Good luck! |
