Judging
I was a little unsure of how you would perform this week Alessandra, but you surprised me with this shot! You really tapped into your high fashion side here! You have all of this fabric in your face but you are just pushing through with your eyes and giving a lot of intensity. Really well done this week.
I think this is a great photo Ashley, I like how your expression is more on the ethereal side. You have great eyes and cheekbones. I like how you brought your arms into the photo and not just that but also used the necklace as a prop, while still remembering to sell that and the ring. It doesnt blow my mind, but its a strong photo.
This shot had the makings to be mind blowing, but it stops at great. I really like your expression, its relaxed but also had some intensity in it as well. But I pan out of the face and you really let the styling over take you, I know you had tough styling but there are still subtle things you can do to try and elongate yourself as much as possible.
I was very excited to see you on set this week Jenny, and honestly, I was really underwhelmed. I just kept flipping through photo after photo and you were just boring in a lot of them. You weren’t pushing through the styling in some or giving the power and high fashion I wanted. But when you got to this I was like “finally!” I adore this photo. You have this crazy headpiece but my eyes go straight to your face, you look so poised and elegant, but there is a subtle intensity in your eyes, its all very avant garde. Its just unfortunate it took so long to get to this point.
You really went out of the box this week and I love you for that. I never thought I would tell a male model this but you are working that snobby, “bitch please” look. *laughs* I love your expression and especially how you used the lipstick as a prop. You were very creative on set and I was quite impressed John.
I had the same problem that I had with Jenny with you Leila. A lot of the time you were just blankly staring at the camera, you finally had a moment where you let go and produced this though. I think this is a really dynamic photo, your expression has a sensuality to it but its still quite high fashion, and you really lucked out with the wind because it really made the shot dynamic, it wouldnt be as strong without it.
I love how elegant and romantic you look in this shot Robyn. Your expression is so soft and beautiful, and combined with the lace and white flowers just create a lovely image overall. You didnt have to go super crazy to still give a high fashion photo, well done once again.
J'adore. This is an amazing photo Sasha. You look like this regal, commanding queen of Russia. Or something along those lines. Your features just really pop here in a way they havent before, your nose, lips, eyes, cheekbones, all amazing. That styling is phenomenal on you, god bless your stylist. And there is something beautiful and also commanding about your eyes. Im impressed.
I think you fall into the category of girls who have really strong, amazing faces. But I was disapointed with your film, I just felt like you kept relying on the styling and not pushing through at all. Here you have this unique styling,amazing lighting, an angle that makes your bone structure pop, but then I get to these eyes and its just blank. If you would have just looked up slightly and gave a little more power this could have easily been the best shot this week. But right now its just resting on the styling and effects. |

Lara: Hello everyone! Its really starting to get down to the wire at this point. So for this weeks photoshoot we will be taking you to smashbox studios where we have a nice set prepared for all of you. You will be doing a photoshoot for a lookbook for (insert fictional brand name here) Styling will be very chic and high end, and you will also be posing with a dog and either doing a walking movement or faking one. The movement will count this as a runway grade if you do it properly. Alright, goodluck everyone!

Whatever, Sasha's a basic bitch who I don't have to worry about anyway. Lara better show up to panel sober this week though because I know my photo will be golden and only a strung out fool like her couldn't recognize that. Judging
You had one of the more elaborate sets to work with, however it was also one of the most cramped, but you made it work anyways. I am in love with your face, its sultry, intense, and just smoldering. Your body could be better, and by that I mean you could look taller, because you look really short here. I do give you props for creating movement even though your dog was sitting, you really look like your fiercely exiting the area.
One thing I enjoyed about you on set Ashley was how creative you got with your posing and movements, you didnt just stick to strutting towards the camera. I love your pose, it looks like you are moonwalking, and your face is quite regal and you have an okay profile. What the shot lacks in impact and intensity it makes up for with creativity, well done!
I guess you needed that bottom two last week, because this is so much better! I love you angled your lower body one way, and the upper half another. By doing that you look as if you were in the middle of moving and then caught off guard, even if you really werent. Your face is stunning as well, im going to hate myself for saying this, but its really fierce. Good job Chiharu!
Your face is beautiful. I seriously dont think you could ever photograph bad facially, but thats about the only thing I really like here. I feel like with the dress you had you could have done a lot more movement, your posing here is just sort of dull and uninspiring. When you did try to do more posing it ended up being too much and not something usable for a lookbook. You just need to work more on your posing Jenny.
You are doing almost the same type of posing as Chiharu, but her movement looks more realistic to me, yours is more static. But its still usable I suppose, just not as believable as I would have liked. Moving on, I do think your face is stunning, you look very intense and handsome and the clothes are perfect on you. Overall good job, but could have had more movement.
You were one of the best on the set when it came to posing. Your body looks amazing here, tall, long, lean, and your posing is impeccable. But then I get to the face and im not as impressed. Your expression just looks a little derpy, like you werent really sure what to do and it doesnt come across as confident. If that would have been stronger this would have been perfect.
This is really cute Robyn. You were good on set, not amazing, but still good. Its definitely something I could see in a high end, commercial lookbook. Your smile is adorable and your pose is good, though a little stiff. I dont really have much else to critique you on, well done.
Like Ashley, you went outside the box with your pose. You really just went for it and jumped and I love that, the movement is the best of the bunch and your body looks amazing. Even with your hair in your face like that your expression is still strong. The photo is just full of energy and I really like it. |

You both had similar, yet opposite problems this week. Jenny, your face looked great as usual, but your posing was dull. Leila, you on the other hand had a great pose, but you lost it when it came to the face. Leila, you started out a little rough, but have improved over the past couple weeks. Jenny, you started off strong, but as the weeks go by I do feel like your starting to fade into the background. So who stays?

Lara: Hello everyone! Wow. Were finally here at the final seven, after this week we will not only be half way through the competition but we will also be on our way to this cycles international destination. So follow me and we will be on our way to this weeks photoshoot! *everyone gets excited*
*The models arrive at an old, creepy building, Lara exits the limo first and leads them inside*
Lara: Scary right? Well this is the sight of your next photoshoot. We are currently standing inside what was formerly an insane asylum, as you can see it is now abandoned. *Some of the contestants are a little freaked out* For our photoshoot you will be portraying asylum patients. This is meant to be dark, eerie, haunting and very editorial. There's a bit of ways to portray an asylum patient, so ill leave the interpretation up to you. Alright everyone, go get into hair and make up, go get into character, and lets get some high fashion/editorial photos. Goodluck! *Gets out of the asylum as fast as possible*
