Lara: Hi everyone! So since we are here at one of the fashion capitals of the world it's only appropriate I test you all on the most basic of modeling concepts: Booking a job. You can take as many test shots as you want but if you don't get booked it doesn't mean anything. So, since London Fashion week is coming up *lets pretend* I am sending you all on castings for some top British brands and designers!
*The models look excited, some nervous*
1. Vivienne Westwood
2. Burberry Prorsum
3. Tom Ford
4. Jonathan Saunders
5. Erdem
You will be walking for all 5 designers and brands, each will give you a score from 1-5, which will be added up and averaged out to determine a final score which will give you your runway grade. So you only get one runway grade from this not 5.
(You only need to send in a runway photo matching the designers style. Please only submit ONE runway for each casting)
Lara: Okay then, you guys have 5 hours to do these, get ready, set and go!
-Fast forward to after the castings, the models arrive back at the loft where they find a bunch of photography equipment set up and Lara holding a camera-
Lara: You guys didn't think you would only be doing castings right? You also have a photoshoot this week. Which I will be shooting! It's going to be very simple, I will be shooting black and white beauty shots of each of you. These are going to be very stripped down and plain, almost like polaroids. Alright so go wash off your make up, mess up that hair and whatever else you need to do, and lets get started!

Kasia:  *confessional* Last week's terrible performance was totally my fault. I let my GQ first call-out get to my head and underperformed. This week I really need to turn it around and get another first call-out. I love the runway and this week is crucial in bringing up by beauty grade so I need to step it up! Me: Sorry for the delay, I've been super busy with exams. I'll try to post tomorrow! |

Lara: Alright everyone! I have your earlier results from the go-sees from earlier, I will go down alphabetically and tell you what each designer thought of you, your score, and whether you booked them or not. Also each job you do book is an extra 1 point for your photoshoot photo this week, if they would maybe book you its .5 point, and a no is zero points. Harry, Burberry thought you looked too sporty and not chic and modern enough for them. However Vivienne and Erdem loved you, as well as Tom Ford and you were Jonathan's favorite at the end of the day. Well done!

You managed to book five jobs Kasia. Every designer thought you were incredibly professional on the runway and managed to deliver what they wanted. You were both Tom and Erdem's favorite in the end.

Viviene really liked you, she thought your walk was a bit stiff but look wise you were perfect for her show. Both Burberry, Tom Ford and Jonathan Saunders thought you looked too mean going down the runway and weren't as fresh as the others. Though Jonathan did consider you maybe booking you. Erdem liked you though. |

Judging  I was very excited to shoot you Aline because you are a girl who week to week impresses me, however your performance was very average on set. You seemed to be resting on your looks and not pushing through, this shot here is good, for going completely natural with no editing you look great and you are photographing nicely. The thing is this is what I would expect on a first week of the competition, not as something someone in the final five would submit.  You were one of my favorite to shoot on set Daphne! I have said before how special your face is and getting to shoot you up close and personal its even more amazing in person. You were nailing every frame and working different angles and expressions and they all worked. This is one of my favorite photos of you so far, it showcases every amazing feature you have. Your lips, eyes, eyebrows, etc. And I love that pouty baby doll expression, if I was Tyra Banks I would this was flawsome, because you are utilizing all your extreme features to create an amazing photo.  I was very excited to shoot you on set Harry, as the only guy in the competition I always enjoy you bringing something different. You started off great, very natural, and in the end I said to really give it and you delivered THIS! J'adore. Your best shot to date. I love the way the shadows played on the planes of your face, any other bone structure and I would have said the person didn't catch the light right, but with you it just highlights what's strong about yours. Your expression is so intense and dramatic in a way, I can see a story in your eyes. Well done!  You had one of the most consistent films, as in all the shots flowed together very well, and it was enjoying to shoot you overall. The problem I had is that in some shots you would look good, but as you would transition to the next pose or expression you would lose your model and look almost pedestrian. I do love your expression and how like Harry you are also telling a story but it isn't saying "top model" to me.  I had a bit of a struggle with you on set Malgosia, at first you showed up took this shot and it was so good, but then you changed your hair to this elegant slicked back look and changed your top but it just didn't make sense with the simple test shoot theme, so I had you take it off, and I don't know if it psyched you out because it wasn't working after that, your expressions just looked off. This I think is strong. I love how even though you had the wind in your hair you are still pushing through and looking stunning. But like I said this was your first and only strong frame, and it went downhill after that. |
