I only just now noticed that tennis edited in the photos and I don't have time to edit all the photos/type up critiques right now, so eliminations will be up tomorrow night (or afternoon hopefully if I have time).

Sorry to delay this again guys, I was bitten by a black widow this morning and only just now got discharged from the hospital. I will try my best to post everything tomorrow afternoon/night, assuming I'm feeling better!

JUDGINGLiya: Hello lovely ladies, and welcome to your eighth judging! This week you all had a photoshoot for W Magazine posing in a Las Vegas casino and the photos were expected to be glamorous, confident, and alluring. Let's see how you all did, starting with Abbey Lee like usual. Abbey Lee - You had a decent film overall, but you never went above decent unfortunately. I think this shot is very close to being great, but it lacks the confidence and conviction I was hoping for. The dress looks very nice on you and you legs look great as well, and I also like the over-the-shoulder angle. There’s too much timidity and doubt in your posture and expression though; and arched back and confident stare would have made this all the better. Bar - I really expected you to nail it this week but your film left me wanting more, though this shot does impress me. You look very sexy and seductive in an effortless way, and there’s a cool confidence you’re giving off as well which I like. Your eyes are what really draw me into the photo though; they are quite soft, but still captivating and connected. I do think the styling is a little strange and you could have done more with your body in the shot, but overall you did well. Catherine - You were the only girl this week that had a truly strong film with a lot to choose from, so I have to applaud you for that. You look like a beautiful trophy wife to some hotshot casino regular. That outfit looks great on you and you’re really selling everything in the shot, and your face is just to die for here; you look so stunning and you have the perfect amount of life and connection in your eyes. I do think that your posture is overall a little too rigid, but otherwise I can’t find anything else to comment on, well done. Eugena - You were on the cusp of greatness throughout your film, but you never quite reached it. I do think you look very posh and glamorous here and I love the attitude you are serving up, and both bodily and facially you look beautiful, but this is also a bit too ghetto fab and obvious for my liking. You also have a wonky eye and overall lazy expression here. Not a bad shot, but definitely room for improvement. Jac - Your film was a little frustrating this week because you were so close with so many of your shots, but just missed the mark because you were too stoic. I do think you got it with this shot though, it’s very mysterious and alluring. You look so beautiful here and your skin is positively luminescent, and your hair looks so perfect that this could work as a high end haircare ad. Your expression is also quite good as well; it’s secretive and sly, but there’s also an element of longing and envy to it that I like. I also like what you did with your arms, though overall I think that if you had tweaked your upper body positioning slightly more towards the camera then this would have been perfect. Jessica - I was actually a bit disappointed going through your film this week; you looked more like a prostitute than anything else in some of the shots, though at least you got what I was looking for with this shot. This is very mysterious and sultry, you look like a secretive casino babe. I like how you leaned into the slot machines, and I love how you’ve covered half your face and the sexy yet intimidating expression you’re giving. I do think your pose could be a little better to make the dress more flattering, but overall I really like the shot. Josephine - Hot mama! You look like such an HBIC diva in this shot Josephine, I barely recognize you! You look so sexy, confident, and proud, and you just completely command attention here. That dress looks fantastic on you and your leg looks wonderful as well, and your face looks quite beautiful too. Overall I am quite impressed. Lily - You had one of the stronger films to begin with this week, and then you gave me this and I had to go no further; this is exactly what I was looking for. You look posh and sophisticated, vintage and glamorous, sexy and alluring, and sassy and snooty all at once. Your body looks great, the pose is great, and you look so beautiful, and your expression seems engaged with something in the distance. A little more power in the eyes would have made this perfect, but overall it’s pretty darn close to perfect anyway. |

ELIMINATION Liya: Hello lovely ladies, and welcome to your eighth elimination! This week you had your shoot for W Magazine in the casinos and overall the results were very strong, though I must add that the odds must have been in most of your favors because almost all of you lucked into your shots this week. Anyway, because the ending results were so strong, W has decided to feature 4 of you in their editorial! So, without further ado, the first name I am going to call is...  CATHERINE! While your shot is superb, it actually wasn't quite have my favorite photo this week Catherine...but you had a spectacular film compared to everyone else's weaker ones so you deserve to be commended. Congratulations! LILY! Congratulations Lily, you hit the nail on the head this week and gave me exactly what I wanted, you should be proud. JAC! Your consistency is remarkable. You will be appearing in yet another editorial, congratulations! JOSEPHINE! Marvelous job this week Josephine, glad to see you back to top-notch work. Congratulations, you are the last to appear in the editorial. BAR! You just missed out on the editorial Bar but your final shot this week was still one of your best, so you should still be proud. JESSICA! This is a significant dip for you Jessica, but I wouldn't actually worry about it because there is a big gap between your performance and that of the bottom two's. Will Abbey Lee and Eugena please step forward? Two beautiful girls stand before me but unfortunately I only hold one photo in my hands. Normally I would give a long winded speech here, but I think that this decision is too obvious to draw out so the girl who will be staying is...  ABBEY LEE! It would be crazy to eliminate you at this point given your history, so of course you are staying. This was a big drop for you though so work yourself back up! Congratulations, you are still in the running. *Hugs Eugena* Eugena, you are a beautiful and talented girl, and I am sure you will become a very successful model. However, this competition is looking to produce a supermodel and unfortunately you haven't been rising to that super quality that everybody else has, and your shot was the weakest this time by far. You should still be proud though because you have come such a long way from your original cycle of ANTM. Goodbye, and good luck. |

WEEK 9 ASSIGNMENT *the ladies get into the limo which then brings them into the middle of the Nevada desert* *Liya is waiting there to great them*
Liya: Hello lovely ladies, and congratulations on making it through another week! As you can see, we are in the middle of nowhere, which is the perfect location for an editorial for V magazine! You are going to be portraying lost fashionistas stranded in the desert, and you can actually go in either of two directions here: you can go strong by going really edgy, fierce, and wild, or you can go weak by going really desperate, drained, and dying. Either way though I expect a lot of emotion and creativity from this shoot.
Then, along the same lines of the strong/weak theme for the shoot, you are all going to be meeting with me one-on-one to discuss who you see as your strongest and weakest competition here, other than yourself of course. Please give me explanations in addition to naming the names (and pm these responses please).

Jac: *Catherine gets called first*  *Confessional* Once again, I think I was completely robbed of my rightful first callout. And even if I didn't get it, I still think girls like Josephine and Lily should have gotten it over Catherine. She got it because her film was the best. Well bitch, my film was the best for the underwater shoot and I wasn't called first. It's Liya's refusing to give me a first callout because I'm a cocky bitch then she shouldn't have commended me for being one and owning it in the first place. Or if she just doesn't like me, then she's losing her credibility which isn't good for her fragile state of fame that is already crumbling quickly. |
