ELIMINATION Hello ladies, and welcome to your seventh elimination! You all know our wonderful prizes and judges, so let's just talk about the shoot. This week you all were brought out into the middle of the desert where you posed next to burning cars for an edgy editorial shoot. We expected your shots to show desperation and emotion while still being strong fashion shots, and some of you really rose to the challenge. There was one very clear stand-out this week though, so the first name I am going to call is... CHANTAL! Congratulations Chantal, you really impressed everyone this week so your number 1 ranking was unanimous among the judges. Your final score was 3. Runner-up for best photo is... JENAH! Congratulations Jenah, you also had another great performance this week and finished with a final score of 7. BIANCA! (11) LISA! (13) And the final name before the bottom two is... SARAH! It seems that some of the judges are beginning to lose faith in you, Sarah, so step up your game more. Your final score was 15. Will Heather and Janet please step forward? Heather, you have been consistently strong in this competition, delivering editorial photo after editorial photo. However, you seem to have plateaued at this point, and we are beginning to wonder if editorial is all that you can do. Janet, you on the other hand have probably exceeded everyone's expectations thus far. You came in here with less potential than most of the other girls, but you sure know how to turn out a photo...but likewise, you seem to have plateaued which you can't afford. So which of you do we think can rise off of her plateau? HEATHER! ELIMINATION Hello ladies, and welcome to your first elimination overseas here in China! Although our location has changed, our wonderful prizes and judges have not, so let's talk about your shoot...or should I say shoots, because you all had two this week! First you ladies shot commercials for the Covergirl Queen Collection in which we expected you to be friendly, fun, and engaging, and then you all shot corresponding print ads in which we expected you to convey your personalities while staying easy, breezy, and beautiful. It was a very tough and torn week for most of you, though one model managed to stay on the good side for both tasks so the first name I am going to call is... CHANTAL! Congratulations Chantal, though neither of your performances were perfected, you still performed very well in both tasks. Your final score was 19. Runner-up for best overall performance was... HEATHER! Your commercial was a trainwreck Heather, but your photo was spectacular and managed to be your saving grace. Congratulations, you are still in the running with a final score of 27. JENAH & LISA! You two tied in terms of scores this week. Jenah, you did well overall in both tasks but stood out in neither, while Lisa, your photo was wonderful but your commercial brought you down. Anyway, both of you are still in the running with final scores of 28 apiece. Will Bianca and Sarah please step forward? I want to begin by saying that this is a rather surprising bottom two; I did not expect either of you to be down here nor do I agree with your positions, but I am not the only judge. Bianca, you had one of the better commercials this week but your photo didn't seem to be much of a stand-out. Sarah, I honestly have no idea why you are here because I feel as though this should be your week to shine, but sadly only one other judge felt the same way as me. In the end only one of you can stay though, and that girl is... SARAH! If it were up to me Sarah, you would have been called first by a landslide this week, so you need to work on winning over the other judges if you hope to continue. Congratulations, you are still in the running with a final score of 31. *hugs Bianca* Bianca, I am a bit surprised to see you go as I feel that this was one of your better weeks. However, it seems that one judge in particular was anxious to see you go, so this is the end of the road for you here but I am sure we will be seeing more of you eventually. Your final score was 35.
