Judging: The competition is getting down to the wire. There will only be six of you left after tonight; less than half of what we started with. All seven of you are very, very strong. While some of you have had a random rough week, you’ve all generally at or near the top of the pack every week. Anne Anne, you never fail to impress me. This is another new look for you. I wish I could see more of the right arms, but girl, your abs are SICK! Sky Sky, there were so many editorial shots in your film, and it surprised me. I wasn’t sure you could do editorial since you are such a wholesome girl next door type. This photo is fantastic. The angles of the pose, the placement of the limbs is spot on. Rhianna This is so pretty, Rhianna. You took a huge risk posing in water. Water can sometimes distort the body, and make it look rather odd. You have stretched yourself out nicely. I like seeing the softer, prettier side of you. You’re a tough chick, but you’ve shown softness here. Megan I don’t know if you’re selling the earrings or hair products, but I am buying it. There’s so much intensity in the face, but not a lot of tension (do you know what I mean?). This is beautiful. Jennifer This is lovely, Jennifer. There is something simple, yet high fashion about this. I must commend you on the shoulder in the photo. You’ve managed to pose in a away that your shoulder looks graceful and not a random knob pointing at the camera. While I miss seeing your pretty eyes, I think the closed eye works for this photo. It evokes wonderful emotion. Emmy Emmy, you stepped it up this week. Your film was absolutely flawless. This photo is perfection. There’s an old timey feel and it suits your look. There’s such a look of quiet confidence on your face. One of my favorite things about this photo is the space you created with your right arm. Charleze Charleze, this is very, very pretty. I like the photo from the back more than the angle from the front. Maybe because it’s a longer shot, but it shows more of your grace. I love the gorgeous lighting, the gold hue works great for your skin tone. You show the dress off nicely. While your face is lovely, I feel as though I’ve seen this look from you before. |

Eliminations: Tonight's call out order was again tough. Someone is going to go home disappointed. Someone is going to go home who deserves to be here. This is a very strong batch of models. As I've said in judging, you girls have all hovered near the top of the pack from the very beginning. I've spent a lot of time thinking about the call out order, and debated back and forth and this is what I've come up with.... Emmy! I was so impressed with your film this week. Congratulations on finally breaking through to the top of the pack. Sky! You were so editorial this week, and I was equally impressed with your film as I was with Emmy. Anne! This could've easily been your third first call out if your right arm was tweaked a bit more and not lost in fabric. Awesome work. Jennifer! This was a great week for you. You're a cute girl, and you transform to such a graceful beauty. I can't wait to see what you do next week. Megan! This is an ad. A gorgeous ad. I want your hair. I want your earrings. You were amazing this week, even though your call out doesn't do you justice. Can Rhianna and Charlize please step forward? You've both been at the top and the bottom of this group. Rhianna, you started slow. I honestly didn't think you'd make it this far. But you listened. You learned. And you improved. You've been the true girl on fire in this competition. Charlize, you started off AMAZING. Your Ariel photo easily was the best in the bunch without a thought. You took my breath away. And then you began to cost. You're incomparably beautiful, but only a few photos took my breath away. So who stays in the competition; the girl who started slow, listened to critique and improved, climbing her way to the top of the pack, or the girl who started leaps and bounds above everyone else, and then relied on her beauty? The girl who stays is..... flips photoRhianna. Congratulations. Charlize, I'm sorry. You started off so strong, taking my breath away with both your Ariel and your gown photo. When you start with greatness, you set such a high bar for yourself. I will miss you very much. |
