Expulsion Ceremony
Lara: Hello ladies and welcome to this weeks Expulsion Ceremony. Right now we are at the final six and the competition is tight. This week I saw a lot of improvement and effort from all of you girls and I am sad to have to send someone home. The first name I will call is.........

Will Bette and Rianne please step forward?
Bette, you are a girl who does a great job. With an occasional amazing performance, however I feel like you have coasted a lot and now the middle has become the bottom. Rianne, last week you earned your first fco, but now your in the bottom. I worry that this show inconsistency and this late in the game you don't want that. So who stays?

*The final five arrive outside of the Sydney Opera House*
Lara: Hello ladies. We are here at the Sydney Opera House Marina. This Marina is home to beautiful boats and this week you will be posing on a 17th century style ship, dressed in haute couture. The theme is that you are the woman in charge of the ship, the "Lady of the ship" so I want to see a lot of strength. I don't have a lot of restrictions on styling as long as its a couture photo.
(Basically like cycle 11's Boat photoshoot)

Sessilee: *in confessional* YES! YES YES YES! I was so happy to be back on the top of the pack! I had a good feeling after the shoot last week so I was glad it actually translated into my call-out as well. I have another good feeling about this shoot as well, this type of theme is right up my alley and I tried a lot of different things so hopefully I'll get another top call-out and my inconsistency will just be something of the past. Judging Coco  Stunning! I love this Coco. I am so impressed by how well you are able to control your posing, you are making your legs look great, have a hand on your hip and are holding the fabric of the dress to show it off all while having your eyes closed and giving a stunning facial expression. Its really impressive, your best photo so far. 5+5=10 Nadja  I was honestly expecting more out of you, in your film I saw a lot of looks that were basically the same as what you gave last week. This is different and thats why I chose it, I like your face its very haunting and dark however the shot doesnt make the think "captain of the ship" its more like a haunting editorial photo. 3+4=7 Natalia V  You had a slightly stronger photo but I felt it was too "misstress" as opposed to "ship captain" I like how you used your hands in this shot, its sort of like dancer-ish and very graceful and there is a calm intensity in your face. I do feel like the styling really overpowered you though, you could have pushed through it more. 3.5+5=8.5 Rianne  This is strong Rianne. The pose is a little obvious for the role you were given but it does overall work to sell the photo. Your legs look amazing and I love the flowing fabric of the dress. Your face also has intensity in it and is very commanding, though I dont like the open mouth. 3.5+5=8.5 Sessilee  J'adore. You took a risk posing on the ground like that but it worked. Your body looks sickening and super sexy but in a high fashion way, you are working that fabric and not letting it overpower you and your face has this strong power in it that just commands attention. Well done. 5+5=10 |

Will Natalia V and Nadja please step forward? Its such a shame to see you two here. Nadja, you have a frontrunner history in this competition with 3 first call outs and zero bottom twos. That's amazing. However the past few weeks it seems your performances have been getting...duller. Natalia, stunning girl. One of the best faces of the competition, you like Nadja have also been a frontrunner and you have such a spark in photos like last weeks, but when it seems the situation isn't to your favor you do poorly. So who stays?

Congratulations Nadja. Bring back that amazing girl, because that wasn't her this week.
Natalia, (3.4) Earlier in this competition I did a double elimination because the girls weren't strong enough, lets face it, we have had quite a couple fillers. And its for the opposite reason that I am NOT going to send you home. You final five represent the girls who consistently shined while others remained dull and I think have earned the right for a shot at the finale. Congratulations Natalia, you are also staying. |

Lara: Hello ladies! So we are still at the final five, but after this week its going to be straight to the finale. Which means two of you will be leaving. But lets not think about that because you girls are going to ITALY! We are moving from Australia to Italy for this cycles finale. This week you girls will be working for an actual client. Giorgio Armani. Huge. I know. You will be walking in an Armani show and camera men will be capturing the entire thing and your walks will be played to you at judging. (So send in a runway video, no styling requirements, just your best walks) Then after that you will be shooting for Armani's 2013 resort collection (Pretending it isn't already out) Shooting for a Resort collection is totally different than a regular photoshoot, its more simple but not commercial like catalog, and shows off the clothes. The styling for their collection is very modern, not as detailed, high class and chic. Lots of womens suits,chic blazers, pants and some elegant dresses as well, with pastel colors and neutral colors thrown in.( Example, Example) These are two very important tasks so I wish you girls luck and remember, two of you will be going home. -Photos -Runway |

Hopefully that trend continues though. I'm feeling pretty good about my performance this week, but you never really know since this truly is a strong group of models.
